Sohyang is awesome singing with just a guitar and piano or cello for accompaniment as in her "Begin Again Korea" concerts this past year. "I Have Nothing" is a good start, "Misty" is spell binding even without powerful or extremely high notes and she has at least 10 other stunning performances in these concerts.

The 'Han' is the sublimated compound of emotions such as sorrow, distress, togetherness, etc. When we feel this emotion, we sometimes laugh, strangely enough, with tears. The laughter and tears are not out of sheer delight nor out of sheer misery. It's hard to explain but one thing is for sure. When we feel and share the emotion, it binds us together and gives us some support and comfort. Maybe now you can see why she showed the mixed emotions on her face in the last part. By sharing this feeling of 'Han', she is trying to empathize with the audience, and provide comfort and new hope for them. Not sure how people perceive those 6th octave head/falsetto notes. You can either frame it as "she can hit the 6th octave" without thinning out the note into a whistle or "she can't hit a 6th octave whistle" which is honestly to me makes no sense. I would say there are less power vocalists that can hit notes typically whistles without zipping up the cords almost completely. 5:20
