  • At the foundry showing the casting process of the PES intake manifold. This mould uses a "core", the core is shaken out later in a vibratory tumbler. This manifold is used on Chevy inline 6 engines, 250-292. The very first picture is of Clyde Norwood, he is the designer of this great manifold. It is used primarily for circle track racing and has shown gains of 20-25 ft bl of tq over a Clifford. The manifold can be purchased on www.12bolt.com
This also shows the real work and talent we still have here in the USA. Hats off to all the factory workers. Without factories, we will have NO jobs. BUY USA FIRST!
If you enjoy my videos. My son could use your help. He is suffering from Muscular Dystrophy. gofund.me/71156826

Does the vibrator plate remove the need to jolt the mold, or does it effectively do the same thing?

I'm assuming your referring to the core.it will break down into fine sand after exposed to the heat.

That's awesome, the man walks a 50 foot obstacle course with 20 lbs of molten aluminum in a bucket on a pole. How do other intakes suffer from core shift? Seems impossible with rigid sand cast cores unless the pouring process deforms a wall?

How does this show a profit! Used to make these manifolds in cast iron, but the time it took them to make one we used make twenty at least

I’m 80 and I could make more moulds than this! This firm should invest in a couple of jolt and squeeze machines! How much are these castings sold for?
