1965 elcamino 292 inline 6 with a turbo, fuel injection and intercooled. the trans is a 700r4 and the rear is a 12 bolt with 3.55 gears. all the build work was done by me.
1968 Nova, short deck 292, Muncie 4 speed
1965 Chevelle 4 dr wagon, 250 Richmond 5 speed, 2.56 rear gears
All engines have lump port heads.

Remove wrist pin Chevy rods
Removing pistons. Rods are stored for later rebuild.

Long overdue. Made a new fixture to hold side covers when machining the bolt holes. It may look simple, but it has to be accurate. The castings have a top and bottom half. They can be offset from each other during casting. The bolt holes are referenced from the top side. Buy them here. www.12bolt.com/store

PES Intake Manifold Fixture (Showing Off)

It took a long time to make this fixture, and another while to get the code sorted out. Works perfect now. 2 at a time BABY! PES is Precision Engine Service. I've been watching van life videos very frequently on youtube lately as it's a dream of mine to build something and be free to go wherever! I stumbled upon your video and saw the captions had muscular dystrophy in them and said to myself no way. I have muscular dystrophy as well, diagnosed at 2.5 years old, I have emery dreifuss and as a result had a heart transplant when I was 15 so I relate to your son a lot. It put a huge smile on my face to see someone get the help to do what they love and bring it to life! If your son wants to reach out with any questions or just have someone to talk to that can relate let me know! Happy Traveling
Glad to hear from you. He just left yesterday on a summer adventure. Don't expect him back until Sept. We just built a wheel chair for him that can let him journey out better. It is with him. you can contact him jacob on the road on FB

Hello, I loved your video. My heart was out to your son and you. I am a caregiver and I’ve been taking care of a young lady with multiple sclerosis for about 14 years now I have her on the weekends. I’m very sorry to hear about your wife, I think you’ve done a wonderful job building the truck out with your son. I know he will enjoy being on the road. The solar panels on the top were awesome. Are they the flexible sunflower panels? I would love to have a truck like that. That’s for sure anyways God bless you guys.
The panels are flexible. Simply glued to the roof. He will be leaving again soon to go on another adventure. The camper was a family project with many friends also helping.

So much for my hopes of leaving the radiator in the car to do this I can’t afford to pull my 250 at this time and since the old balancer hasn’t failed and ruined everything/my compression test checks out.. why would I

My 250 usually leaks from the back of the head, the sealing surface on these heads is ridiculously thin, you get a standard flat valve cover gasket and it only makes contact in a 1/4 inch wide strip in the middle of it, stupid design, I usually just use RTV sealant to stop it from leaking.
Would I need to call to order a valve cover gasket? I can't find it on the website.

So that's why no matter how many times I flatten out my steel cover and replace the gasket it keeps leaking. I planned to get your cover to fix that. Thanks for looking out Tom!

My 65 has a 350 but its a four door
Now I'm guessing once the bolt and washer is bolted on, I can use it to turn the engine manually as well, right?
