This is my favorite color combo of the 55. Can’t wait to watch what happens! Many of us are crying with you. I can’t for the life of me understand why so many people want electric. It’s very sad.
Hello FisherFast Like your video and especially your modification on those cars. Lots of respect. P.S. My dad bought one with dark blue exterior, beige/brown interieur and Ferrada f8 fr6 rims with just 45k miles on it. Just fits perfect. Masterpieces those sl‘s and Kingpieces your modified sl‘s. Keep it up👍
@@FisherFAST bro, I've seen/watched/read many builds..none as good/informative/quality/safe/street DRIVABILITY!! as yours..! Learning alot from u..bro..🔥💯👍😎
Can you comment something on the wheels ( widest you can feet rim/rubber), something about exhaust. As for rims I was able to find only 19 20 inch information, but 18inch is more comfortable ride than the low profile tires. Can't find a complete kit for exhaust, it's only in parts, mine has cracked around cats in the back... Maybe I didn't pay attention to your videos but don't remember anything about intercooler mods...
Please post videos of the work as you do it and/or provide where you get some of these performance parts please. I would commission you to do my car, but I'm way on the west coast, I would love to learn more about how you do what you do
Usually when I see a white car I immediately think it should go stormtrooper white and black style. But this one is so original and so clean it might deserve just a Fisher restore instead of customization.
I am a mb tech. bought a nice sl500 for 1200$. had to repl all abc hoses, accumulators and then just went thru all worn out parts. runs like new. If you buy one of these cars you need to have money to sort them.
Brian@Fishfast - i don't know if you've experienced this, but, there is an issue when the radiator cooling fan starts spinning at a high velocity as soon as the car is turned on despite the fact that the car is not hot. the problem is not a coolant sensor, wiring, any short circuit, fuse, etc. it's the ECU. Do you do the ECU repair yourself or do you send it out to any shops in the U.S. for repair?
How come you haven't done any of the facelifted r230s Brian? I own a 2003 SL55 AMG myself, so I'm happy to see all your great work and take notes. Ownership is quite a journey for sure.
Hi Jeffery! Thanks for your interest. At this time, I am only building and working on cars that I own. If/when this changes in the near future, I will certainly let you know.
Do all the maintenance but keep it stock… way too nice to change, over in the UK anything slightly custom kills values, got my SL55 at a very good price because of the 20 aftermarket wheels, now back on original 18 AMG non turbine, looks and drives way better… only thing non stock is carplay head unit and Audison speaker set up.
Hello Lane and thanks for your interest. Currently I am only working on vehicles that I own and sell as a turn-key car. I'll let you know when/if this changes soon!
Personally, I do not like an SL that has been swapped with coilovers. It loses some of the magic that makes the car feel special. There are no sway bars in production that make the car feel stable enough when doing the swap.
Hi Endaf, at some time in it's life, locking cylinder must've leaked. Top hydraulics will be gone through during maintenance inspection to ensure full functionality 👍

Love white on this car as well, it really shows off the lines and styling cues! Long live the ICE 😎
Amber red is the best color on this car.
Just bought a 03 Sl 55 All Money Gone last June!!! Just love your channel, I learned a lot, thanks!!!
Enjoy that beauty in good health and thanks for the great feedback Chloe!
Just got my new rims man I love the way you re-design these cars! Keep up the good work cheers from Amsterdam/Netherlands

@@FisherFAST that would be awesome!!! I'm trying to do the same for my projects, so I understand if you can't. It's hard to film and work
I wanted to ask the same because I live in Europe and would like to customize mine as well

Kind of leaning this way given the uncertainty of the market at the moment.
@@FisherFAST I’m sure it will be awesome either way!
Where do you get your headers from I'm having a hard time finding some mid lengths?
When will this vehicle be completed? I’m interested, and have you decided what direction you are taking on it?

Absolutely agree. The labor/parts cost of maintaining these vehicles is still indicative of a $120k+ MSRP.
@@FisherFAST any luck getting the abc hoses rebuilt? i did not find anyone to do them

Hi there, how are you? Just like to know when will you start your next SL project? Thanks! I love to own one that you gonna sell , thanks !!
I have a sl500 and I love it how can I get in contact with you
Such a sexy car. I want one so bad… especially if you’ve worked on it!
Thanks for the good words Brutus! 👍
What a fantastic car, and at such a low mileage! Can't wait to see what you do with it.
How much did you purchase the car for?
Thanks Nishant! Car was purchased at current market value👍

Is there a waiting list? how do i get my car in to see you?

I'd vote build. You don't see a lot of white ones but its not like its a p030 or a 07 or something a bit more rare.
I appreciate your input! 👍
In what country are you
What is your opinion on switching from ABC to coilovers? Have you ever done it on one of your build before? Thank you.
if its not broke dont fix it, abc is a great system. just maintain it

@@uzzle21 Agreed 💯
After a 350SL on standard springs the ABC system is like riding on rails totally flat with a perfect ride on my SL55 just firm enough
How do I buy one of your cars
