About The Game: Deadpool is an antihero action comedy beat 'em up video game based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The game was developed by High Moon Studios and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Former Deadpool comic writer Daniel Way created the game's plot, and Nolan North voiced the character. The game received mixed reviews, with plot elements commonly praised and gameplay elements found lacking.

It's kind of funny that the game ends with Galactus swearing revenge on Earth, and then the second game reveals that Thor beat him offscreen between games, so we can focus on Civil War instead.
+TheFinalSmash More like focus on a stupid plot twist about nanites.
@TheFinalSmash, I feel like that was intentional, like the writers wanted to have a bit of a laugh
Big middle finger
Where,or when does it Say Thor Beat Him?.
@@tartrazine5 The worst part about the game....ugh.
You know this game is old when Nick Fury looks like David Hasselhoff instead of Samuel Jackson!
I recall Ultimate (The version that resembles Sam), being an unlockable costume for MUA1
It's funny because Hasselhoff played Nick Fury lol
Jargon Madjin he was in 2 skins: General Fury and Ultimate Fury. One was just wearing a black T-shirt and cargo pants if I remember correctly, while the other is wearing a Combat vest
Drakkenmensch Silverflare gotta say Sam Jackson is a huge improvement
I like the classic Hasselhoff one
Normally I agree with Jirard, but I sank soooo many hours into this game. I loved it when I was younger.
I love the Xbox version as it was my first until today with 360. I like the DLC.
SAMEEEE
Same
I love these games, especially the xmen legends ones, I'm playing 2 nowThe weekly planet guys hate it and it bothers me more than it should.
same man , big nostalgia
Dude, you gotta remember this game came out for the ps2 and original Xbox. When you remember that, you can see how this game was a true titan for its era
One of my favorite games, for sure for sure
I couldn't agree more 👍🏾
agree!
Wait This came out on 360 and PS3. Not Xbox and PS2. I think you may be confused with X-men Legends.
I remember my friends not being able to find X-men Legends Anywhere when it came out. I was unintentionally the coolest kid around for a while.
@@Justin-vq3wx Shit I guess I did. I always remember playing 360. I guess just never realized it came out on OG Xbox and PS2.
I love how Dr Doom was on your team to defeat Doom XD
Luke Powell pretty sure it is an achiev2
Achievement
@@imperfectperfectionist9853 it was. Doppelganger.
I like to imagine that it was a Doombot that went rogue.
I wanna see that storyline, that idea is super dope!
Uh, the sequel doesn't even touch this game. The sequel is a rehash of civil war with no unique areas besides the city, where the original has its own original story where it has you going to Mephestos Realm, Atlantis, Asgard, A theme park called MurderWorld, and even dooms castle.
You obviously haven't played the sequel enough to make that claim, lol
I have. The sequels story and locations are freaking boring. Not to mention they got lazy as hell and made the second act for both choices the EXACT same thing.
@@shagohad3 yea the second one is boring. All of the heroes have only a few powers. The customization is non exsistant and the cast is trash.
@@JargonMadjin it wasn't that good.
Jargon Madjin MUA2 is still a great game, but it was dumbed down immensely. Where is the costume system and the customisable powers? Plus there are less locations and characters. The fusion system was cool though.
Truly this was one of the best representation of the Marvel Universe in a video game ever produced so far. If it was remake for modern game players it would be interesting to see them pull it off with today's consoles and graphics. Thank you so much for doing this for one of my personal favorite Marvel games. :) Please do keep doing these great videos.
No it wasnt at all
A third came to Switch
yes
@@psyc0m4nt1s6 for that time, yeah it was - they had a bunch of easter eggs, lore, the works.
This game wasn't only my childhood but it also was a great representation of the better days of Marvel, and Deadpool.
"That's right. I won, fear me."
This game was my childhood.
Same
same so much nostalgia
The Toa of darkness says same

I loved this game on the ps2
same
The game was SLAAAAAAAMINNNN
+Andy Lucker I'M ETHAN BRADBERRY!
rico wochnik my nigga lol ^^^
No main character dies in civil war
I did a double-take at the Spider-Man voice clip, forgetting Quinton Flynn voiced him for this game. Dude got so much work in the mid-2000's, holy shit.
It's called Fantfourstic
Fun fact: Egoraptor plays Bruce Banner in the Wii version of this.
No way
+Demicky Harris Way
This makes me like him more
Woaah
Looked it up, not even true lol
I'm a mainly dc guy but this is the best superhero game of all time
Playing this game as an eight year old was so goddamn lit.
This game was my life a decade ago. Completed it six times on PSP at launch and I recently got it again on PS2.
Question of the day: For Marvel Ultimate Alliance, what did you-Okay that doesn't really matter because Civil War is out and I want to know what you thought about it
Civil war was so fucking amazing best part was ant man what did you think was best?
I liked the scene with the bear.
+That One Video Gamer It was a much better Avengers movie, than age of Ultron.
+Andrei3253 I agree, AoU sucked
+That One Video Gamer That Spidey rocks!!!!
I finished this game three times. It's always enjoyable!
ikr
+XrosM only beat it once but i replayed the shit out of it as a kid
Pfft. Casual. I finished it 13 times.
XrosM "Amen to that!"
Hasan Özuğurlu 36 times here. 11 times on the psp, 15 on the pc and 8 times on the ps3 and 2 times on the Xbox 360. Plus I've modded the shit out of the original 2006 pc release and by now it's mostly a DC game. Playing as batman with the Joker, green arrow and the flash on Your team and kicking doom's ass is a feeling like no other.
I'm a dirty player, I just put in cheat codes for all characters and costumes
Its called using your assets
Yeah some of the unlocks are tedious so I always put in codes too
No Name it's not playing properly unless you cheat
No Name What are the cheat codes and do you do them
I use cheats because I played this game on ps2,Xbox 360 and now Xbox one so cheats it is
Fear not, Marvel ultimate alliance 1 & 2 are now re-released with all their DLC, so yay.
F
I loved this game and I played for the PS2.
One of the best game ever.
Same here. I really like it a lot.
I loved better then UA2
I played it on the Gamecube back in the day as well and loved it.
@@ismathem Gamecube? The hell are you smoking? Anyways this game is one of my favorites of all time. It's the old Marvel fan in me.
Late 90s and early 2000s Marvel everything! (mainly cartoons and a few video games) Was my childhood! Who else played this game on Saturday afternoons after watching re-runs of the 90s Iron Man cartoon? SO NOSTALGIAC!
“I don’t consider myself a bad guy or anything” 👀
loved this game waay to much as a kid. basically only played as deadpool
+Darkrai110 same
Heck ye same dude. I miss John Kassir as Deadpool.
I was happy Civil War didn't really go the way of superman: sure, we're fighting each other, but REALLY we're fighting this guy.
I actually used to have a sort of family game night with this game. We'd get together once every few days on weekends and play a level.
This game is what essentially made Deadpool popular. He was an old comic reference next to Moonknight before this.
I was literally googling if there was any rumors of a new Marvel: Ultimate Alliance game earlier today! Rumor has it that there may be one coming out in 2017, but as always, they are just rumors. It would be great to see something at E3 and make it legit! We are long overdue for a new game! It's been like... 7 years since M:UA 2.
I'd be fine with an HD remake honestly.
+ThePsychoRenegade Yeah, that would be pretty awesome too!
+Nathan Wooten Lets hope the series doesn't pull an "F-zero" and we go over a decade waiting for a sequel
+James Toomer (Jtoomer) Oh, gosh. I hope not! That would be a shame!
Wish granted.
omg yes ive always wanted to see you complete this game it has to be one of my favorite super hero games ever
Plook at it: "Play this game for like half an hour while you're over at the house of a friend who owns it."
SPOILERS! Lincon died and ended with the surrender of all the Confederate armies.
Its not called Fantastic Four its called Fant-4-stic
Please Review and Complete THE ORIGINAL Doom!
+Aidan Brownstein the new doom
+Dylan Johnson Fuck Call of Demon. Original Doom is the jam.
+Zam L
+Zam No idea where you think it's anything like Call of Duty.
Wobbey363
No speed, limit of 2 weapons, one-button executions, generic level design... It is like Call of Duty, but with demons.
This is still my favorite game of all time, completed it at least 4 times, man I had good times with Marcel Ultimate Alliance as a kid and I'm glad people still remember it
Hulk in a bumper car is something I need more of.
This game is such a hidden gem IMO
marvel ultimate alliance 1 was awesome really wish they made more of these type of games
this was one of my most favorite games . I remember clocking in tons of hours unlocking the roster
Anyone else marathoning these videos? Nice. When my friends and I played this game, we stuck with the first four characters: Spider-Man, Thor, Wolverine and Captain America. Whenever we unlocked a new character, we'd give them a shot. But in the long run, we stuck with the original team. It's through this game we first learned about Loki, or what we called Elk-Man lol "Oh no, it's (snicker) Elk-Man! Watch out or he'll (snicker) hit you with his horns!" Lmfao good times
Damn. I never got those bugs when I played it, but then the last time I've played it, the game was still in the store
The digital downloads of MUA and MUA2 come with the DLC included, so can still be 100% completed =)
The digital downloads are no more ;(
@@JustapErson You can still buy the codes on Amazon and redeem them
I'm watching this literally a day before Ultimate alliance 3 is going to release. I'm so excite!
My favorite moment on this game was when you sacrifice Jean to save Nightcrawler. As she was saying her goodbye dialog see ended it with "Tell Logan...Goodbye". I had Wolverine in my party and shouted "HELLO!!!!!" to my screen lol
I love this game. I though it was far better than the second one. But I think I had this PS2. I definitely don't remember all those glitches.
The PS2 version aged like a banana and doesn't have the same level of content as the PS3 and 360, but it's not completely bugged.
This brings back so much nostalgia, I remember this being my first Xbox game along with Halo 3 amd me and my brother fought for 2 hours straight over which game to play. It was great
if you mess with super hero squad you mess with me
Play Ultimate Alliance 2, it is somewhat based on the Civil War comic.
yeah
+Cleaven10 He literally says that in the first minute haha
Matthew Stevens I heard it in the last, but I am not saying 'You should've played the 2nd one instead' I said that he should do a video on the sequel next.
Man I hope they make an Ultimate Alliance 3! or at least remake the
first (and maybe second) game so that they have more characters, better
graphics, and bug fixes.
Showmetotheexit He can now. Thanks to the fact that they're ported and the DLC comes with the game when you download it.
I completed this game 20 times.....it was my childhood
That ending hand me rolling dude. Good choice editor. Also, I hope to see the Civil War tomorrow.
I'm not sure if it was the first or second alliance but playing this game with a bunch of friends is insanely fun and just insane in general. I actually want to pick this game back up
someone send him an xbox 360 hard drive with the Ultimate Alliance 2 DLC.
Woah the voice for spider man is the same person who did the voice for Axel from Kingdom hearts
Ha, ha! That ending, running around with guys as weapons. I run a table top HERO system game where I helped one of my players make a brick character that picked people up and used them as weapon just clubing people, robots ect into the ground. He loved it!
I love how The watchers in the ending tells you how much you fucked up if you didn't fully finish all the missions. Loved this game so much.
I saw it Friday and jirard let me tell you, I have never cried so much while watching a movie. I'm so in love with Tony and Steve, and Tony with Steve. seeing them battle, the years of friendship they developed flushed down the drain was heart wrenching. I've loved those two for 4 years now and 4 years worth of emotions came out in that theater.
it was good and I can't wait for the DVD to come out
Guys
I noticed something in this review
Jirard is still a cop
he got chu
This was my game back in 2005 or 2006. Got both Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. The absolute best choice in my gaming history.
Bro completing ultimate alliance was always hype. I replayed it three times and every run was just more intense with the story choices you could make
fun fact. in the nintendo gamecube vercion samus and link were planed to appear.
+Sebastian castañeda Wii too.
+Sebastian castañeda Rumors go that they presented the idea to Nintendo- Link and Samus fully rendered by this point. However, it was shown in a PS console, and Nintendo was so pissed that they disalowed the guest characters.
man i LOVED Xmen L1 SOO MUCH!! 2 not so much, but Ult Alliance was MAH JAM!!
I Always had deadpoll and ice man on my team...
the super hero squad show introduced me to Marvel. this was because my Dad was more of a DC fan.
now when DC fans and Marvel fans argue I just sit back and watch the world burn.
this game is how i found out about Deadpool and Moon Knight. i owe this game a lot for bringing me into a bigger comic universe
x-men legends was a phenomenal game.
I couldn't agree more!
Freestyle ! I have it and never played it should I play it
MAHVEL BAYBEE

SCOOPS! Scoops Häagen-Dazs

I remember finding a glitch where I got to play as Silver Surfer without doing the comic missions. I don't remember exactly what I did but I did something and then went to sleep and woke up to play again and Silver Surfer was in my lineup. Pretty cool cause I remember him being one of my favorite characters in this game.
I'm so glad you played this. I was having mad nostalgia to play this game. After watching though... I'm good.
Well...didn't expect to see my own comment from the last video show up here.
Really funny
***** It actually came from the Ratchet and Clank review, Jirard claimed that the game ran at 60 FPS but all other sources I looked up said 30 FPS. It was the same case with Hyrule Warriors when he was talking about performance.
So you got 99 costumes, but Scarlet Witch ain't one?
But hey, in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, coming out on Switch, Scarlet Witch will be included as a character on the roster
I see you
My favorite video game of all-time, and I was in my early thirties when I got my hands on it for the Xbox 360; it was the reason my girlfriend at the time and I had gotten the console, specifically for the 8 additional heroes.
I was a huge fan of the X-men Legends game as it combined Marvel with team-based simplified roleplaying, including level advancement. I’d dreamed of such a game that would incorporate all of the Marvel Comics multiverse and got one. I was especially happy to have the Hulk as a playable character and he was a BEAST, one of the best ones in the game.
While it has its flaws it’s still easily my favorite video game of all-time.
"Some times it's A.I.M soldiers, sometimes it's the guys from 'A' 'I' 'M'"
Got me there XD
Do gta san andreas
Yes!
No
Maybe
+The Derp no
Vice City is superior
Spoilers: There's a section where you have to choose to sacrifice Jean or sacrifice Kurt (NightCrawler), and there no way around it. Apparently the good ending is to sacrifice Jean and she comes back as the Dark Phoenix looking for revenge. Because if you sacrifice Kurt the Raven (Mystique) kills Professor X which leads to the X-Men disbanding forever. Talk about BS two tailed coin.
The fact that digital content can just be pulled without warning is why the switch from physical to digital media scares me so much. All it takes is a loss/change of license and you could end up with an incomplete game or have the game itself go missing. Same could happen with movies or music.
This game introduced me to all my favorite Marvel heroes like Black Panther, Moon Knight, Spider-Woman, Ghost Rider, and Ms./Captain Marvel
I liked Marvel Super Hero Squad
Minrod Vils dito
I'd like to hear your thoughts on Jade Empire
Oh man, looking at the character selection menu makes me so nostalgic. I loved this game as a kid. Figured it'd probably only be a couple bucks nowadays, but it was removed from steam like a year ago :(
Bro that power rangers joke landed you a like, a subscribe & a new fan nice work bro keep up the great job
kinda surprising since most say the sequel is worse but oh well. I like it 😃
+BladeBlurX A lot of people didn't like it because you're locked out of half the cast for half the game. After the first couple missions, you have to choose: Team Cap, or Team Iron Man? Can't use Iron Man, War Machine, Fantastic Four, etc, if you're Team Cap. But after a while, a new big bad emerges and forces everyone to work together again.
Also unlike Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 you can't save when using cheat codes in 2.
@@kainhighwind2 literally half of this comment is wrong
Can you complete Marvel Nemesis on PS2?
My most prominent memory from this game was finding Blade in a funhouse claw machine
God I live this game as a kid until this day Murderworld is still my favorite stage to this very day.
I loved LOVED this game and the sequel (team Anti-Reg FTW!). Got me through college!
@Mighty Raccoon No stupid. It PAYED for his college, obviously.
@Mighty Raccoon i think you r/wooshed my joke, but i guess sarcasm doesn't translate to text very well.
Well a earlier this they updated the Games on Demand version of both games so they include the DLC. Problem is the dlc is not available seperatly and you have to buy the digital version but you can complete it now so no excuses Jirard you have to complete the second one :P
+ActionAbe1 People need to like this more so he can see this.
marvel ultimate alliance was the game that turned me into the fan i am today. playing as all of these characters was so freaking fun. i played this game with so many people and it was the best.
I loved the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance which I've played through on the Xbox 360, Wii, and Ps3. I never bother with fully completing games, especially ALL achievements. I prefer just playing through the story, completing all story arcs, searching all areas fully, and doing my best to unlock as much as I can. But, doing a full completion is never something I worry about. So with that said, I loved this game, and I never had any issues or bugs preventing me from loving this game. It's always been one of my favorites, along with its sequel.
Completionists of NieR? Please? Cavia LOVES to punish Completionists.
That would be... Delightful.
Drakengard!
WRONG! The last one is called Fant4Stic! ^^

+Aufinator This and NBA Street
Dude, seeing this game reviewed game me nostalgia from many years ago. I love this game is to death and I would say is a fun time from beginning to end :)
Go Team Red! (Daredevil, Deadpool, Spiderman and Iron Man for measure)
+polterghost That's what I did for Ultimate Aliance 2, and I made it through almost half of the game with only minimal trouble. In other words, that's a very powerful team.
My squad for MUA2 was Deadpool, Spider-Man, Green Goblin and Venom, if the DLC was still up I would have used Carnage in place of Venom
The PS2 version of this and GC version of X-Men Legends 2 are some of my most nostalgic games.
I own this game on the Wii, and boy is it hard to play. But, I love it so much. It is honestly one of the funnest games I played during my childhood. If you want to play it, I say you should.
