We love it. It's quirky and fun. You can't compare it to the Bellagio Fountains. Haven't been to Lakeside yet but Parasol Down is one of our favorite lounges.
@@grtfldave1 Do agree it should not be compared to Bellagio Fountains, I kinda wish it were every 15 minutes. If you get a couple duds it kinda kills your impression of it.

I love Lakeside. A very pretty restaurant and the lake is cool. Yes some shows are better than others ..I’ve seen some really awesome ones . I found the food quite good as well as the service . I’ll be back in May . I enjoyed the video …great work 😎😎😎

Your channel is so helpful for our upcoming trip! It’s been forever and a day since we were in Vegas, but we are doing a lot of the things you guys have recommended… helicopter trip with champagne landing, macaron tour, buffet, now adding lakeside to our list. Off to watch more of your videos! Thanks for covering this stuff! So much has changed in 15 years.
Yay 🤗 thank you so much, sounds like you are returning with a bang! Biggest things to remember: weekends are super crowded so make reservations and everything is expensive, the sooner you realize it the sooner you can have fun and not be constantly shocked by the prices
@@JoshRachael yea we’ve kinda accepted that already. We stayed at the Wynn for our wedding, but that was forever ago. I highly doubt the prices have gone down though haha.
Our next decision to conquer is if a couples package at the Encore spa is worth the hefty price tag or not. 🤔

I totally enjoyed this video and smiled all the way through. Kudos for ordering bucatini and eating it on camera. Josh made me laugh out loud. I always have heard about the Lakeside shows and figured they might be Esther Williams aquatic spectacles of some sort. I never dreamed they were prerecorded. I figure Steve Wynn did not want entertainment so great that people would linger too long and tables could be turned. Can you imagine being a server and hearing those over and over! Thanks for the big reveal. Again, I have never seen done before by other vlloggers.

I would assume most vloggers don't show it either because they don't stick around for dinner and just do drinks or are too afraid of a copyright hit - We are more willing to take one if it makes the video better. If I make reservations and request seating bye the show on patio is it guaranteed? If not available opoun reservation time can I tell them all just wait until a patio show seat is available? Thanks
Don’t believe it was guaranteed, but able to wait, yes! Definitely worth mentioning when you make the reservation as they did note it on our reservation!!

At the tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki room! Lol!!! I’d go with two orders of foie. Looked great, and huckleberry pairs well.

I went to Lakeside after the initial reopening after the shutdown. They had a nice prefixe menu at the time. Good food but I tend to just go for drinks on the patio at Parasol Down.

Omg Lakeside was our favorite…. But my King Crab pasta did not have that truffle…😖 It was super delicious regardless, but damn!!!
What the heck? We honestly need to get more pasta in general I think. Always 😊
We are coming down in February how’s the weather
Last year it was beautiful when we were there!
And we are just getting home today and it was gorgeous! We may not be the best judges though….our winters at home can be tough and cold!

For adult dining the show was a little juvenile, don't you think 🤔?
In our opinion and the two we saw, yes! We’ve heard there are multiple shows however!
We were disappointed with our dinner at Lakeside the last time we went. We were right up against the glass. We had better shows: "Space Oddity" and Lady Gaga's "Born this way". The one exceptional dish at Lakeside is the carrot cheese cake with a crunchy walnut crust. And it's vegan! Almost as good at the pistachio cheesecake with cherry sauce at CATCH at Aria. Also vegan! But everyone who's tasted either 9ne raves about them.
Awesome. Good or Bad to hear we weren’t the only ones disappointed. It’s tough when the shows are 30 minutes apart, if you see a couple duds it sticks with ya like ours did

I think y'all saw the worst two shows. Even the best Lake of Dreams show will not compare to Bellagio fountains however, the lakeside seats, music, and entertainment are very nice. It is too bad you didn't get to see some of the more creative shows. Some of them do a much better job of blending the video with interactive surroundings and blurring the line between real and cartoon. The Major Tom show successfully uses all the dimensions and makes it much more immersive. Dangit, why didn't I say all that in my video?
Haha now you tell us. I guess it’s luck of the draw, sadly we got the duds and walked away disappointed. Might have to try out SW one of these times to give it a second chance
Holy shit, I wanted to take my mom to watch this show at dinner, if this is this ugly and ridiculous, I'm gonna pass. She'd be extremely disappointed since she loves the Wynn's sophistication. This show doesn't match the rest of the hotel.
Check out the SW video we just put out from our last trip. We got a couple better shows. Definitely depends on the shows you get, but agree it was quite disappointing from our first viewing in this video

@@emimon2351 Haha you are probably right with that. the show is nice to have but nothing special. If it were every 15 minutes like the fountains even I could recommend it more, but it is more weird than spectacular.
