In this video Josh and Rachael try out SW Steakhouse for the first time during their stay at Wynn Las Vegas. Rachael calls this the best steak she has had in Vegas so far. Lobster, Bone Marrow, Porterhouse, and funnel cakes round out this delicious meal with a show.

Any tips on getting comps at Wynn? So hard to go there and pay when we have so many with MGM and Venetian
@@rachelkaminski2773 Awesome, we ate there in January but no steak for lunch for us. Will have to try. We got into Wynn as a tier match through MGM initially, that got us a free room offer, and from there we just gambled a similar amount to MGM and have gotten better comps through Wynn. We would not have paid initially either. Very hard to pay for a room when you have good offers elsewhere. I will say Wynn almost completely focused on gambling money and not spending money so if you sneak over just use that card and gamble away and watch those emails. Luckily now it seems we are on the comp train with Wynn, just booked our 4th stay there in 13 months.

I really love ellis island village pub for the steak and eggs special Maybe because it’s light on the wallet or maybe it’s because it’s one of the nostalgic memories I have with my dad back in 1996 after watching Siegfried & Roy and wanting to eat a nice dinner after the show. This will be my second time back at Vegas in November sadly not with my dad he passed away but with my girlfriend . I want to go to as many places I went with him to preserve his memory.

I’ve been a fine dining chef for thirty years , now retired, and I have too say you did an excellent review, and I’d absolutely have had exactly ordered what you have had , looked great and beautiful critique of the food , I’d have ordered a bottle of Opus one too go with it but then again that’s me , great job guys ❤

We went to SW a few years ago with some friends and it’s definitely a top 10 meal of all time! We had the fennel Mac and cheese as a side and it was divine! Our group also got the funnel cake for dessert, but I opted for the cookie butter cheesecake. Let me tell you, everyone was fighting for a bite of that cheesecake…spectacular! Love all of your videos and always look forward to the next one 😊

I'm a big fan of SW. I've been there a few times in the last year and each time the service has been amazing, I've had great food, and outstanding wine (they have a great wine list). When I was there for my brday, I had the Hyogo Prefecture Wagyu steak and it was one of the best things i've ever had. The Sardinian Gnocchi is one of my go to side dishes.
If you are able to splurge on something nice to end the meal, I highly recommend trying one of the many Madeiras they offer, some going back to the beginning of the 20th century. Over the few visits I've made, I've had a glass of 1907 Malvasia, a 1937 Sercial and a 1971 Terrantez. They were all amazing and great ways to end a fantastic meal.

Ribeyes are definitely very good as well. Hard to go wrong with a nice cut of beef 🥩
My brother and I were there on Monday last week 4/1/24 for his birthday. Same table I believe! We did the creamed spinach and filets, with the crab cake appetizer. The best part of our trip! Thanks so much for your review! Was amazed by the show, the frog was the highlight!

SW is one of the best steaks in all of Vegas. We went there for my youngest son's 21rst birthday. They treated our group fantastically and each of our drinks, aps, meals, and deserts were fantastic. One of our top 5 restaurants in all of Vegas. Cannot wait to go again and spend time at the LOD!!

Awesome! This one was pretty darn good. You should also check out Jean Georges Steakhouse at Aria if looking for a dinosaur type bone haha. Hope you get to try both of them. We did have the Jean Georges one in our intro for a long time, it was pretty impressive. The flame on this one was pretty exciting though.
Looks fantastic! I might have to try this in August. We have only tried Palms Steakhouse at Caesar's, and Prime at Bellagio. Loved Prime, but this menu looks more adventurous. Thanks for sharing!

Wow guys. What a great review. The food looks amazing. Have never had bone marrow. I’m not sure I could eat that. Lol. But the presentation of it was outstanding and impressive. That steak wow. Dice would love that. The cream corn looks different for sure. Omg on the funnel cake. I’m not a big dessert eater but that looked amazing. Love the water show. We haven’t been here to see this. Bone Marrow is definitely one of those things that is tough to try at first. It kinda looks disgusting 😂 cream corn was so weird I still don’t know what to say. We are really falling in love with Wynn. It is so nice and comfortable, can’t wait for our next stay there. Thanks Granny! See you soon!
You both describe your meal and experience very well. Everything (except the creamed corn) looked wonderful, and I do love a soft pretzel bread. Adding SW to my list of future dining in Las Vegas. Wynn is just a quality experience m from rooms to dining to shopping and their casino.

Great video! Definitely going there on our next trip. My favorite filet in Vegas was at Barry's Downtown Prime and my favorite rib cap was at Oscar's.

Hi Guys. Vegas has SO MANY great steak houses; Circus Circus, Hugo's Cellar, SW, Delmonico's, but I still prefer Joe's at Caesar's. It has that old fashioned steakhouse feel. But still a great, informative and fun video.

What time does show start?
Hours depend on when the sun goes down basically - "Shows begin at dusk and run nightly every half hour until 11:30 p.m."
I would guess 7:30--8:00 would be safest times to be there for the show starting
The bone marrow was cooked very well,the lake looked great and a great view.what size was the T-bone, and who did it tastes.what was dessert called,was that coffee you to are drinking.
Yes it was! Thanks Brian. The steak was 40 ounces, and it was such an awesome steak! The dessert was called a Funnel Cake like you would get at a county fair.
Wow, food looks amazing. My wife is taking me to Vegas in August for 1st time. This might be our spot for a fancy meal. How fussy are they on dress code?
I am not sure since this was our first time. I would advise not wearing shorts or open toed shoes for men. Women can sort of get away with anything it seems. We definitely were dressed up but one does not need to do a tie or something like that. Collared shirt and pants seem like you would be fine. No jackets needed
Love this restaurant not a meat eater but love the Crabcakes and Salmon!!
Yum we love seafood as well, almost did fish and steak but when we decided to order that big of a steak we had to go all in on it.

Would you recommend this place over Cut by wolfgang puck?
For us the quality of food was on a similar level so it comes down to ambience and service. SW on the patio was spectacular and our service was awesome. Cut had great food but we found the restaurant to be extremely loud and service was slow to start (20 minutes to even take our drink order) and then a little too much when the food came out - for us we preferred SW, plus the sear was amazing at SW. the steak was very good at Cut but not memorable for us

Not exaggerating one bit when I say there may be 40 or more great steakhouses in Vegas, with the majority being on the Strip, but Downtown and of course the outlying areas also contain some fantastic joints as well. The steakhouse has replaced the buffet as the go-to meal in town.
No disagreement here. And honesty we are far happier yo enjoy an nice yet expensive steak dinner over a mediocre buffet. Thanks for watching!

Nice we will have to keep an eye out for that - Wynncore has become possibly our favorite hotel to stay at. 3 trips since Halloween and absolutely love everything about it. Add those Cosmo balconies and it would be unbeatable.

I can't remember, we generally like our steaks Medium Rare, but we go with the staff recommendations when there is Bone included in the cuts. It is either Medium Rare or Medium. Thanks for watching.

Prime at bellagio is the best steak I’ve had.
We had been to Prime prior to CZcams. Very good and amazing views. Might have to get back there sometime soon

My wife and I are curious, what you two do for a living that you can travel so much?
We both are trained nurses in administrative roles now. We prioritize traveling over most things other than work, and make the most of every 3-4 day weekend. It may look like we are gone all the time but in reality we jam our vacations very full, keeping lots of videos rolling. We generally have one trip every 4-6 weeks.
We will leave for a trip late at night after work and like these past two weekends we got home after 10pm from our flights to other locations, before going to work at 0730 the next day. We are tired a lot but so worth it since traveling and traveling for great food is things that we like to focus our time, energy and money on.

I was at the SW on Monday the 26th of Sept. let me tell you the most overrated steak I ever had I ordered the dry aged 180Z NY strip the steak had no taste it was cooked medium rare as I requested but the steak had no taste keep in mind this was 89.00 bucks also had a Martini they usually serve that with the traditional glass but they gave me a small coupe glass done in 2 sips in the end they tried to charge us for FIGI water I never requested I had to have the waiter subtract the 10 bucks SMH ! I was pissed told my wife never coming back here ever should have walked to Smith& Wollensky at the Venetian never again !! P.S 1 of the sayings of Steve Wynn is to give the people what they want SW failed !! I get a better steak at outback my Lord !!

We trashed it our first time. Some of the shows are awful. We had seen the bird one and the Sonny and Cher one and didn’t like them. We did like the Major Tom one quite a bit and the frog one we really like the song so was decent. It’s definitely not the Bellagio Fountains but does add to the appeal some
