“Congratulations to everyone that found Kh7 that ISN’T really working but a very resilient way of going down…” 😂😂
My sleep-addled brain thought you found Kingdom Hearts 7 XD
Go down swinging!!!
😆
timestamp?
We die, but at least with one of our boots on! 😁😁😁... we're getting better!!
Seeing this game, I completely agree why Shirov is called the Modern Tal. Sac a piece to start an attack that doesn't seems to exist. But when you finally see it, it looks incredibly magical when it happened. Tal would be proud
I agree, Hikky.
Can't agree more
Look up his book, "Fire on Board." Incredible games
Modern tal would be Dubov
shirov always looks like the one boomer who is pissed with the kids of neigbourhood
Such face allows us (people from Eastern Europe) to easily recognize ourselves in Subways/buses/on a street. This method has a very good accuracy
He looks a lot like Skellen Skarsgård
and would often say ''back im my days ...'' ''i miss the good old days, when...''
LOL. You're right, he reminds me of myself.
He looks like *loud fart*
when agadmator posts: *day is improved 10fold*
@@oliviera2198 is it true your streets are filled with poo, preeto?
Shirov is such a legend
This kind of title is why i pay my internet bill !
Saw Shirov, read title, i knew this was going to be great.
Shirov, dubov, morezevich (?) guaranteed greatness
Forget the sacrifice. b4 was definitely the winning move.
Always is
Bro this guy always making a god damn it b4 joke at this point it’s expected and funnier each and every time sometimes I miss the joke it’s so decent guys like “shirov definitely knows the importance of this move” like whatttt I swear man I need to play some more b4 in my life
B4 might be more explosive than C4
Agad at 4:40 "This is the one moment in the game where Black really could have played a move that just equalizes on the spot"
Also Agad at 7:14: "So congratulations on finding Kh7, but with the inclusion of this incredible b3 move it still doesn't work"
😁😁😁😁😁😁
Agadmator video titles are the best 😂😂
As time passes by the titles get more and more interesting
The fact that Shirov always seems angry in the photo makes the attack take a funny turn with the way his opponent smiles in the other photo.
The titile was so tempting that I jumped to watch the video as soon as I got the notification. Well done agamator, you are a true master of click-bite titles. Not sure how Erdos feels about thit though :)
Click-bait btw
The "P" in the title is the only thing saving this from being demonetized.
LMFAO
This deserves to be pinned
Watching Agadmator from America is like going to sleep before Christmas, you wake up and there is already a new video.
That was a great sacrifice v Tal like Can’t wait for championship
Although 14. Ba2 is technically a novelty here, it bears pointing out that the players then transposed to Suetin-Gligoric (1967) with 15. d5, so the first real "completely new game" point is black's 15...Nb8. Gligoric instead played 15...Na7 and got the win after 54 moves.
It had been weeks since I have played chess or watched any chess videos because of my exam tomorrow.
But when I saw the title I couldn't stop myself from clicking into it.
good luck
I truly appreciate such games these times, thanks for covering it
“Accepting the piece and hoping for the best” is how I seem to be playing all my games.
If Tal gives you a piece, take it, if he gives two pieces, take them, if he then gives the queen, take it too. If he mates you, well, at least you have two pieces and the queen for the king.
I've never seen "a very resilient way of going down" before :)
Pawns in the end game came through like a heard of zombies, slow numbers that no one could escape from
More Shirov games is an absolute necessity! Such a pleasure to watch- I still think about the super-exciting game against Ivanchuk sometimes.
This was balm for the soul after a tough day at work. Thanks a lot!
The title this guy comes up with for his videos 🤣🤣🤣
Surprisingly at 7:51 Nf5 leads to a draw. Engine gives Qg5, after Kf8 plays Qf6, then Kg8, only now Nf5, which follows with a long, long line where white has a big advantage. It thinks the position is still holdable at 9:11, Rb7 loses the game for black, but en passant should be a draw with perfect defense.
I love your dialogue phostos who were able to fins
6:00 "disgusting engine line" lol
Spitting in someone's face is one of many things I haven't done yet.
After reading the title I thought it was an OTB game without handshake lmao
#suggestion : Carlsen vs Radjabov, Meltwater Champions Chess Tour Finals 2021 Round 7 game 1, could Magnus win this??
I’m in the hospital recovering from brain surgery but I feel as calm as if I’m down at the library. Thank you Agad.
I have no time to watch youtube but when spit and chess are in the same sentence, well, than it must be watched. Glad I did.
If you're going down, you may as well be resilient. Great Life advice. Thanks Antonio.
Feel bad for Viktor Erdos. How many games now have we seen him get rekted in😭?
#Suggestion
Show us a game where Erdos crushes someone.
Two players are needed for a good game ;-)
@@stojko1972 2 good* players are needed
0:22 "Had the game taken a different turn, things would have been completely different."
I suggest this for next game's quote :)
It was in this position on move 47 that ..... resigned incredibly and went back home defeated.
b4... "Shirov knows the importance of this move" 😆
saw the Kh7 move before he even examined the line. I knew it was gonna be the only way to defend
At 2:41 I going try try pawn xc4 if black and wanted to counterattack agggesively by black . Got complex pretty quickly which could help black. Think that would be good learning excercuse without engines
Black's undoing was the undeveloped knight. After all the fireworks he has a knight for 3 pawns compensation, but the knight isn't centralized. He now needs 2 or 3 moves to get the knight into action, but thats 2 to 3 pawn pushes for white. And as we all know, passed pawns are deadly in the endgame.
love your videos agadimator
Agadmator: "Had the game took a different turn, things would be completely different."
brilliant... lol... :)
I'm a total beginner, but I live for the moment where you say "and it is as of this moment, that this is a completely new game"
It blows my mind how seemingly early in these games you get a new position.
Brilliant!
shirov outclassing opponents left and right
Thank you man to promote most beautiful game and sport in the world how many people suffer with ptsd autisam adhd and with chess you are improving social mental schils everything bcs of this beautyfool sport or art or howewer you put Tnx man
Chess also can protect against one of the worst desease which exist Dementia
Finding the king move was ez. Delaying the attack a turn with the pawn move, never would have guessed that! 😲
Spite check at the end lmao
Shirov seems to be becoming a an unstoppable force. Excellent game. Thanks.
Except that Shirov is way past his prime.
Poor Erdos, he got manhandled by Shirov and Alireza in span of few days.
Great game from Shirov, gg
The title is so funny, good game.
The title reminds me of the Fall of Leningrad video featuring Tal vs Botvinnik.
Yes finding H7 was very very rewarding
Yoo, the title tho 😂
I love the title
Actually to the surprise I first considered b3 as a best move but then thought who will play like that, then found kh7.. but the move b3 I thought is engine move lol 🔥🔥
#suggestion Yuri S Gusev vs E Averbach 1946 “gusev immortal”
Now that's a beautiful game
Impressive indeed.
My kind of chess.
*And the award for the most headstrong CZcams title giver goes to..*
Every chess player needs to read Shirovs Book - Fire on Board - it is a classic with many beautiful games,
wow... that b3 move is devastating
Much more aggressive than we normally see on this channel!
In that picture Shirov looks like his attack
One helluva pawn roller
This game was brutal!!!!
Can someone explain why Kb6 isn't played by white at 4:20 ?
I think Shirov was capable of seeing b3!. I had it as a candidate move, but to really consider it you have to see Bxh6 and then Rae1. I missed that, but I don't know that Shirov would.
Can someone break down why Shirov didn’t triple fork the queen rook and bishop on b6 at 4:20?
I was staring at the board there for a while before I figured out the response of ...Qc6, which looks like it forces white to either back off or trade the knight for the A-file rook.
That's the best I can do. If I was white I'd accept that line (Nxa1, Qxa1), because all I can see for what that position for black's queen yields is an attack on the e4 pawn that I can defend... But unfortunately, I'm not Magnus Carlsen, so surely someone else can see a better way for Black to punish that position, which is why it wasn't played in the actual match.
He could have played that but black would have 2 pieces for a rook (the knight and the bishop) so black would be better in terms of material
Shirov on the board is as savage as his interviews 🤣👌like his style!
A small doubt
Why did the black knight not capture the undefended e4 pawn in the opening?
Black still had a chance until b4 stifled the knight.
That's it, next time I get into a fight with someone I'm going to play some chess with them
The 1st time ever I found one it's not really working!
That disgusting engine line is great.
Viktor Erdos must know the bishop is poisonous, but what else is there to capture it? It reminded me of Levon vs Anand where there is seemingly no defense no matter what you play, what a brutal game.
I think the “spitting in the face” occurred when he allowed that queen trade.
can someone explain why not knight to b6 at 4:20?
One of the great modern games.
I figured out the pause the video moment and it only improved my day 9 fold 😣
Thanks, dude.
Still has fire on the board. Never write Shrirov off.
At the pause the video moment, why not bg7? then bishop takes, kf8, bishop takes, king takes, and now what? Is the attack not stopped?
Instead of f6 in the endgame, Black could have played Nd7 and captured White's advancing f pawn. Material would then have been equal.
Kh7 was very easy to find, of course i had no idea what was white up too :-)))
That title is accurate!
0:07, he was a Tal's student too.
7:33, I have been playing many Kh7-alike when defending, throughout the years. But this time I thought about ...f5, until I realized that the h6-pawn was falling right away...
10:00, I guess I would play 1...Rh5!? 2.Rg6 _(2.Rxd7?! Rxd7 3.Rxd7 Rxg5+ 4.Kf3 Rxf6, draw?)_ 2...Kf7.

What if erdös played Nd2 instead of f6 at the end there? Does that work or am I missing something? You’d be giving back the piece but seems like you’d actually end up in a more favorable endgame.
Agreed. I would add that Nd7 is more accurate. Black's pawns are doubled, but the position would probably be equal. (I may be missing something, though.)
I also was wondering about that line, Nd7, pawn push, take with knight, take with Q then Qd6. If white takes I like black's pawns in the center vs the h pawn for white.
a bit confused. Kh7 apparently forces a draw accoring to the video but what if you chase the queen with both rooks, and eventually play Rc3 provoking Qxb2? Engine on the other hand says black queen should take the pawn on e4.. which leads to a queen sac after Rc4. and apparently black can still fight with a piece and a rook for a queen (but down a pawn..). Crazy line! wish it'd been developed a bit more.
Very great endgame.
Shirovs face says it all
Galing
The title🤣
What would happen if black don't take the knight withe the pawn and instead goes Kh8?
creative video captions :D
Before the queen trade why he didn’t play rook e5?
Shirov== modern day Tal
Dubob== thug life Tal? XD
🔥🔥🔥
