At the age of 18, why Firouzja is considered the strongest phenomenon in chess history ?
1-No body ranked number 4 in chess history at age of 18.FYI, Anand was not in the list of top 100 at age of 18 and was number 68 at age of 21!!!!
2-No world chess champion crossed 2700 at the age of 16
3-Firouzja started playing chess relatively later than other players , at the age of 8
4-Firouzja was born in a country that does have relatively weak chess support or international trainers , in that aspect he resembles Capablanca and Fischer
5-The level of chess competition is maximal in Frouzja’s era including availability of resources and chess engines
6-Alireza was his nation champion at the age of 12 " exceeds Bobby Fischer who made it at the age of 14"
7-At the age of 18, He exceeds the highest score of Anatoly Karpov and Bobby Fischer throughout their history
8-Firouza’s score got frozen about 18 month because of Corona “ lucky Magnus to keep his title one year for free”

During fischers highest rating nobody was near him same goes for karpov.so percentile low.
Magnus was 2800 at the age of 18
May be firu can overcome it...
At 19 magnus was no 1
Let's see if he can overcome magnus
Firou played games during covid period also dude...in tata steel and also Norway chess and some other also
No world champion crossed 2700 true but alireza is still not the youngest to cross 2700....
Even though you typing some crap data in the comment
I am also a alireza fan and belive he will dethrone magnus probably

      Your speech is inaccurate
Magnus was 2770 same age of Firouzja with more played games , check fide ranking lists , and yes Covid delayed the tournaments of chess regarding ranking . Magnus had the best trainers in the world including Kasparov , you tell me who trained Firouzja ? I say facts you go emotional . Btw, I am American . I put Fischer number 3 for the best chess players in 20th century , no shame on that as time goes , chess gets better . Morphy is super talent in 19th century. Capablanca and Alekhine are older original copies of Karpov and Kasparov . It seems for me that Magnus is the Karpov of our generation , and probably Alireza will be the copy of Kasparov . History repeats itself , the 12 years younger Kasparov beat giant Karpov , and probably the 12.5 year younger Firouzja will beat Giant Carlsen .

@@forevercu Now isn't that just excuses. Maybe covid gave Alireza more time to train his classical skills who knows. Alireza doesn't need excuses mate, he is great as it is. Don't diminish that by ur barrage of excuses. The other guy was right. We shouldn't exaggerate. Let alireza become world champ b4 comparing him to Magnus or Kasparov. There is lots of luck ingredient too in World Championship, plus Magnus still is miles ahead of every1. The championship should reduce his rating for a while though, which will give others chances to try for rank 1.who knows considering Alireza's form he might catch it. But he hasn't yet. He is a great talent. He is still not a champ.

It is deceptively hard. If it wasn't, I wouldn't get my backside handed to me nearly every game sparring Droidfish at the 2200 setting.
