awesome review. seen how much postive review the hobie gets with stability. but just wanna ask how do u rate the pedal system (not performances but durability wise)? i've seen a few videos where a few anglers had issues with it breaking on them so wondering if this kayak is designed only for maneuvering or is it still capable of long distances. the sponge tip is handy as.
So I love the peddle drive system, because not only is it maneuverable, but also incredibly efficient. That said reliability has been a problem. I’m actually waiting for a new one from Hobie right now because mine started making a strange noise. I have three other Hobies all with the, 180 Drive system, and have never had any trouble with any of those. But this 360 drive system does seem to be a bit temperamental. Thank you for watching!

Nice video but leaves me concerned. Basically your boat cracked/broke, eventually it would have totally failed. What’s the warranty? What about the poor fella who buys it lightly used?

They have a few sizes. I think this is the size I use but can’t tell for sure. Mine is fairly large
