We are a Hobie Kayak Fishing Guide/Charter business located in St. Petersburg, Florida. We fish near St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay, Indian Rocks, Madeira Beach, John's Pass, St. Pete Beach, Pass-a-grill, Clearwater Beach, and more. Have Yaks; will travel. Our Hobie Kayaks bring a whole new level of excitement to fishing. We want to share that with you! We offer guided fishing trips that are sure to please. An abundance of species inhabit this area like snook, red fish, tarpon, flounder, speckled sea trout, snapper, and more. To have one of these fish drag your kayak through the water, is an addiction!

it is still good early in the morning, or in the evening. During the heat of the day, it is very slow right now.

I have a compass and a compass duo. I love both. Even solo, I fish from the duo anytime I’m inshore, which is like 90% of the time for me. I know there’s way less bells and whistles, but I love the actual cockpit space on the compass way more than the outback, as well as the hull shape during surf launches and choppy days.

I've had the same issue with similar items. Bass pro has 60 day return policy. I ended up going with engel and love it.
I also have an Engel now, but typically just use a Home Depot buck with a good aerator. lol. Thanks for watching!

Can you cast with the double Uni not going through the eyelets or do you cast with the Uni not passed your last eyelet?
This rod will cast the knot through the eyelets because the eyelets are pretty large. I have another that they are a little smaller and it does not cast as well if the knot inside them. Thanks for watching

Have to add: these boats can be a tad fragile. I own the tandem island. Bought it last year brand new. So far, we’ve been out only 4-5 trips with it and the first two times I lost 1 little rudder “up” symbol. Popped out at one point. Cracked one of my mirage drives near the nut on a tension bolt. Lost a batten cap (had to deep search the internet for a replacement) among a few other things. I learned early to be real delicate with it. One gripe I have is parts aren’t readily available. At least here in Canada. Lots of “out of stock” items when I’m looking for accessories or replacement parts.

It even hit the asphalt at 45 mph when my straps broke and took it like a champ, except for for damaged stickers. I hope your issues get worked out quickly and easily! Great review, I buy one wilderness today, for my oldtown pdl 120 sportsman 2023, hobie kayak cart it is not compatible, so, The great advantage of wildernes is its versatility, I think you need to explain how Wildernes is easily disassembled and can be easily stored inside a kayak, but the only problem I see is that the screws and pins rust. However thanks…. Happy kayaking I fish in Baja Mexico 🌵 🏝️ 🇲🇽

Yes sir. Honestly I don’t use it a ton, but I do still use it occasionally and it has held up very well. I have recommended it to several friends and they all like it also
