  • First of all check our my previous video about this Himiway Cruiser bike: • #ebikes #fattyrebikes ...
    The Himiway Cruiser is a fat-tyre e-bike that is great as a commuter, a trail bike, a cruiser or even a mountain bike. And it costs half the price of the e-bike I bought several years ago. For folk of a certain age it's the ideal introduction to the relatively expensive world of e-bikes, the bikes that put a smile on your face as you keep fit.
    Himiway are offering a discount to anyone who buys this bike using this special code:

    I've got one of these bikes, Himiway sent me one too :) Sofar over 300km on the clock. A very solid and sturdy overbuilt bike. On average getting over 60 miles per charge and much more if you want to pedal harder but it does drop off a bit in colder weather which you would expect.

      Yes, I've noticed cold weather affects the battery but it's exactly the same as my Trek e-bike. Still think this is a very good bike for the money, especially for folk who just want to tour forest tracks and trails.

    Just watched Bushwacker Overland yesterday testing out the same bike through an English forest and he was chanking along good style, mostly through puddles. Looked to me like it had been " tuned". Quite surprised by the weight. My Merida is around 22 kg and is murder to lift onto my beefed up hybrid bike rack even without the battery.

      Don't get me wrong, even with UK settings this bike can still lick along, but of course the more pedal assist you use the more battery life yoiu use. It's simply enough to change the basic settings to go faster, but if you want to break the laws of the land that's up to the individual.

    Pity it’s delivery only no uk suppliers . I think it would be a pain if you had warranty problems or indeed damaged on delivery

      Who knows Bill? I've had several queries answered quickly. Himiway UK is the UK supplier and is based at Unit 12 Holford Ind Est. Tameside Drive, Birmingham, B6 7AY, United Kingdom. I guess one of the reasons why these bikes are lower priced than normal is because Himiway cut out the middle man, the retailer. See that more and more in the outdoor industry. Alpkit is a good example.

    Good bike for the money that Cameron, considering what my Merida EQ600 cost 2nd hand 3years ago. I would need puncture proof tyres for around my area though. 😂

      It would take something special to puncture these things. They’re like tractor tyres!!!

    Hi good video question has it got creep mode when pushing up hillside

    • @CameronMcNeishOutdoors
      @CameronMcNeishOutdoors  Před rokem +1

      Yes it does, up to a speed of 6kph, via the handlebar throttle. However, there is enough power in the 250w motor to get you up most hills. It would have to be a pretty steep hill to make you want to push it. Walk mode is probably best used on very difficult or icy ground, although the fat tyres would take you over most surfaces.

    I’ve just saw another video where there is no warranty from them , if you have a problem , you have to find the fault contact them they will deliver the part , charge you delivery and you have to fit

    • @CameronMcNeishOutdoors
      @CameronMcNeishOutdoors  Před rokem

      There is a two year warranty. Can only go with what Hemiway tell me.

      @@CameronMcNeishOutdoors I.know they state 2 year warranty. But it’s not a full warranty. That’s why I would pay extra and go via a dealer ship

    • @CameronMcNeishOutdoors
      @CameronMcNeishOutdoors  Před rokem

      @@billthemumper6854 Far be it from me to dispute what was on another YT video but I have the warranty sitting in front of me. It's a "two-year all-inclusive warranty for the opriginal owner," with all the normal caveats. Nothing about sending for parts or paying for delivery.

      @@CameronMcNeishOutdoors I would check Cameron , Cause this guy was well miffed Let’s face it as there are no dealer dealers, you would need to box the hole bike up and post down to them lots of hassle il contact them tomorrow and ask the question

      Cameron just checked there warranty.Quote they provide parts charge for shipping they don’t provide labour costs that’s down to you, which makes sense as they haven’t got a dealer network
