My reaction to ep 12 of Yuri on Ice! - Zábava
According to Viktor, "If you are in trouble, hug them and they will definitely help you" (episode 9). In other words, a hug is a sign of SOS.
Viktor's hug to Yurio (episode 12) means "help me stop Yuri from retiring."
With this hug, Yurio realized that Yuri is willing to retire after winning the gold medal.
The only way to prevent Yuri from retiring was for Yulio himself to win the gold medal.
In the end, I feel Yurio also leant Agape, "the highest form of love, charity". This means a lot to us. Thank you so much for sharing " Yuri on ice ".
Victor definitely asked Yurio's help and its so subtle and no words but seeing Yurio's expressions its so clear. many people are theorizing that the reason Yurio cried after his final performance could either he didn't deliver a perfect routine and because of that he cried thinking he might not have won to prevent Yuri from winning gold which means Yuri will retire.
Yeahh I feel you, I got emotional when watching this episode too! The way Yuuri skates was absolutely beautiful and elegant. He did so well for the final. And yeahh I feel like Yurio is secretly admiring Yuuri talent and didnt want him to retire because he accepts Yuuri as talent competitor. This show was so good and I still wait for the next season or the movie but Mappa (the studio that made this masterpiece) seems to forget about yuri on ice and the fan was not happy at all. It has been six years already 😢 btw thank you so much for reacting to this show! Nice reaction!
Don't worry girl, I've watched this show a million times now,,,,and the waterworks were still going at all the emotional moments😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 The pair skate at the end,,,,,I genuinely thought I was gonna have an emotional breakdown because of the sheer INTIMACY, love and deep affection they managed to animate between these two men🤧🤧🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I love that you both love this show and Snow White with the Red Hair. You explained it BEAUTIFULLY. The support in BOTH anime that the two main characters have for one another is so vital, and refreshing. Without it, the shows wouldn’t hit the same. Yuri on Ice is such an important show to me, and it’s one that will always stay in my heart. It gives me intense feelings each and every time. It’s just such a good show.
I was crying again! I love this show so much and it hurts everytime it ends 😢but I'm also happy that more people get to know and love it
You should watch "Welcome to the madness". It's an OVA about Yurio's presentation in the exhibition that happened at the end of the episode, it was included in the blu-ray as an extra. It's like 2 minutes long but watching Yurio skate is always worth it.
There's also a manga showing what happened the day before the exhibition and how Yurio chose the song.
