My reaction to ep 7 of Yuri on Ice!
This episode will always make me cry 😭😭Yuri changing the toe loop at the end to Victor's signature move the quad flip gets me every time, it's such a beautiful expression of his love for him. No wonder Victor kissed him!!
This episode is legendary and beautiful! I think that Viktor's approach to motivate Yuuri is not the best but It helps Yuuri to let out his suppressed emotion through crying before the performance. And you can see that Yuuri already trust that Viktor won't leave him even after he said something like that, he knows that Viktor said it to test him, to motivate him. I think Yuuri is really strong, he know his own feeling but did not let it out so easily and he tried to manage his depression by himself but now he has Viktor. Anddd the KISS! Yes it is a kiss, the creator confirm it, but due to the censorship for PG rate it can not appear so obvious like that lol Great reaction! Keep it up! There are more surprises waiting for you >
I loved your reaction to the kiss 😁 I remember that, at the time, there were a lot of people debating if it was actually a kiss or if it was just a hug since Victor's arm was in the way (but given the reactions of course it was a kiss! but some people are skeptical *shrugs*).
The creator Kubo went on Twitter and twitted "Is it just me or something synchronized with Nigehaji this week?" Nigehaji was a J-Drama that was airing at the same time in another channel and, at the same time that Victor "hugged" Yuri, the main couple in that show kissed for the first time! That shut everyone right up 😆 Way to be subtle!
For me what really made me have no doubts immediately was because of the comment Victor made earlier where he asked if kissig him would help him calm down. Also, the animators wouldn't have angled it the way they did if it was just a simply hug😅
@@JeanetHenning Right!!! I remember at the time people kept claiming they were platonic and it was just a hug because we didn't see them lock lips. It was so annoying lmao
Yes! I was excited for you to see this episode. This episode always has you on the edge of your seat even when you KNOW what’s going to happen. The emotion is displayed perfectly, and has the right amount of tension without going overboard to unbelievable. The skating is beautiful, and even though you’re cheering for Yuri, at times you want the others to do well too. And not just us the viewers, but the characters in the show do this too which is lovely to see. Often times in other shows the rivalries are all you see, but here many of the characters are rivals but still genuinely SUPPORTING each other. It’s just so refreshing and heartwarming. I wish more anime were like this one.

if before victor's behaviour could count as, idk, fan-service or him just being extra, here it's something pure & genuine. THE WAY THEY LOOK AT EACH OTHER LYING ON THE ICE??? also, quad flip is a crazy move, it has been bringing viktor points & recognition throughout years, and here yuuri went and did it just to see viktor's surprised face. THEM >>>>>.

Yuri on ice is one of the best things to happen to this world and Victor and Yuuri, best couple ever period. This is my second favorite episode after ep 10 👀

I LOVE this episode. Anyway I wanted to tell you, in case you didn't know, that there is a "special story" as a sequel.
