You were so on point when you said that the Night Nurse's scene with little girls playing shows her utter incompetence and unsuitability to work with kids and teens. She, of course, proceeds to confirm that by being horribly cruel to Charles and Crystal too. I'm pretty sure that her character is a dig at child protection services, foster care system and other social services that are supposed to provide care to children, and instead are often soulless bureaucratic structures full of burnt-out, underpaid people who see individual children as numbers.

The friendshipp of Edwin and Niko for me is the best thing of this episode,is so heartwarming. And I also love the personal and interpersonal development that Charles and Crystal have over the course of the episodes, and I look forward to hearing your future comments on this.

I don’t really ship Edwin and Charles they give more best friend vibes than romantic to me it would be weird like if Edwin and Nikko got together just no. Honestly the whole gang just gives me besties and found family vibes including as you said Charles and crystal. I kind of think they need to be in romantic relationships with people outside their group of course poor Edwin needs to stop attracting animals 😂 I think at this point Edwin deserves better than Charles Since it’s been made clear he’s aware edwins jealous as crystal pointed out in another episode so Charles knows Edwin has feelings for him and he really doesn’t care at all he only cares about hooking up with crystal. Edwin deserves better than that but I guess we’ll see what happens in the next episodes and hopefully next season.
