I’ve been checking CZcams all day for this!! Fuckin legend
Same i have been checking yt too! 😂
Things to note. Double plots consume as much as single house plot, meaning it houses 2 families and has 2x output in vegies, eggs and so on... for the price of sigle house plot. Veggie farms produce across autmn and spring so families are focusing in those months in backyard so I'd suggest to avoid puting them on significant jobs like sotrehouse or granery. Also on this patch unhabited plots consume resourses like fuel and food. Thats fixed in latest patch. New subscriber here and I do enjoj your videos. Keep it up. 🙂
Chickens and Goats produce 1 per plot per month regardless of the amount of families. It's best to keep them as singles rather than duplexs.
@@Alter_IonThis is from Manor Lords wiki:
Dual Burgages
Dual burgages are an interesting nexus of game play changes that may possibly be modified in the future. Currently a double burgage will double the output of the extension (while only costing a single extension purchase saving the player regional wealth), uses only a single fuel per plot (two in winter), and uses one food per plot. These numbers stay the same regardless of level of plot meaning four families can produce four eggs in a level three burgage while only consuming a single food. This is an incredibly useful tool for many applications.
However, there are drawbacks to this system as well. Dual plots when upgraded to specialty extensions will assign all those families to the respective project. This can easily and quickly overwhelm supply chains if the player is not paying attention. A stockpile of planks disappears at an astonishing rate when there are four joiner families making shields.
Currently most individuals observed have used single family homes for most artisanal work (bows, armor, weapons, etc) with the exception of beer brewing as this is highly beneficial to keeping a tavern full. This prevents too many families being removed from the worker pool (specialized work will only do their work) and keeps a town productive.
A dual burgage extension requires an additional two lumber to place the second house.
S
I don't think he is trying to play the most optimal way. It feels like he is trying to storyline it, but he does do some optimizing as well.
Oh you are so good at leaving us on the edge of our seats!! I wanted to see the battle and you cut it off just in time!!! Can't wait for the next one 🤩
With the farming fields:
It would make more sense to have a different field fallow each year. That way your farmers only have to plough, sow, and harvest two fields each year. Instead of having to do that for all three fields for the first two years, and then have nothing to do in the third year when all fields are fallow. Adjusting farmer numbers each year might cope, but it unbalances your workforce needs badly.
Your voiceover is relaxing to listen to. Really enjoying the Manor Lords content. Subscribed 👌
Glad you enjoy it!
Just love the series so far, so relaxing to watch 😊
Love this series
Content is enjoyable, expecting longer video's for Manor lords
Really good videos, Nivarias. I really enjoy your content. You have a nice, relaxed style and are very instructive while still being entertaining. The word plow is not pronounced like many other English words that end with "ow" such as bow, low, or tow. The vowel sound is essentially the same as the words sour or hour or the German word frau.
To this day I still don't quite understand how farms work, but for all intents and purposes, I have found the ignorant formula, 1 family/1 field XD. Anyway, the town is coming along really well, among other things everything makes sense and is well distributed. Can't wait for the next episode, I'm curious to see how you'll structure it all! And of course curious to see the kind of army you'll create too!
I’ve tinkered with it a bit. I’ve found that a full 8-family farmhouse can manage just about 4 morgens per season
From my understanding you have to make long slivers and don't go past like 1.7 morgans or something like that and you have to micro each individual section. 2 families can handle the workload but it's a formula. @Stratgaming guides was doing it in his Million Gold 25 Year Video.
@@Gregory-bt9hb Apparently long rektangels of .05 morgans. 1 family can handle 4 of these fields and 2 morgans if you heave heavy plow and 2 oxen. If you don't have heavy plow and oxen, neither the shape or size matters much.
Awesome 👍
You over-hunted your animal deposit. Hunting limit should be half the size of the herd, so for a rich herd your hunting limit should be 20.
Which is odd cause he was so careful to not do that at the very start lol. He even said that he didn't want to go past ten!!
Yeah, kinda wierd. Maybe he should just build more just hunting ground like he should build more manors and fields and everything since the land is just laying there for the taking.@@Gregory-bt9hb
Love your videos! Was the first video I saw when I got on CZcams :)
Really nice content 🔥
You should have built the forager hut closer to the berry deposit. Your workers had to walk a long way to get the berries into forager hut storage. If you make it closer, the granary worker can transport most of the distance in the cart.
Either way, someone is going to have a long walk!!
LOL @ that tree!!
I was waiting for u to post yesterday. Lmao!! I was silently hating on you lol lol
Sorry!
Didn't u make the lumbers cut down trees in the hunting ground?
Where's part 4?
