Love the new graphics, new interactions, new objectives, new mechanics. Do not like that roads automatically appear when building district, do not like the tile structure, people running like the flash even in normal speed. Overall game feels modern, but soulless... Buildings appears to be modern - but generic compaired to Frostpunk 1. I understand that the player is now managing a whole city, and not a small society, but it feels like the connection between the player and the game is lost.

Maybe the admiral won't declare war on you, there's hope. As I noticed he only gets angry if you expand faster than him, have more islands. But since you're doing a single island challenge, he'll probably leave you alone.

Great game but the consumtion amounts just get too crazy to play later game

They could implement a StarCraft multiplayer verses game mode and it would flow so well. Hard to place that into a single player framework though.

its fun to watch how different people play the game. I for instance dont bother with making iron beams or Beer until Engineer usually and just get them from traders. saves alot of workforce early on.

Placing blueprint cannons is a cheat. The AI see no difference in terms of calculating island power. You can test it by conquering a new island and when they come attack you place 50 cannons, they will run away

They need to add a mechanic that gives you the option to send the most discontented workers back to England and/or them to option to leave. Yes, it would require the game to model discontent on a per-worker basis, but it would deepen gameplay by providing an alternate avenue of managing discontent via sacrificing (or losing) workforce size or experience instead of expending resources or waiting-out work stoppages. Moreover, it better models how things would work in a real-world scenario by, not only getting rid of the malcontents, but reminding the rank-and-file that that they came here to escape unemployment and food lines.
