my favorite is when you get a massive iron deposit. I love to get 2 points into trading and then export bows and weapons. Then I love getting armor and exporting that as well on top. Exporting large shields. then you never have to worry about keeping your people equipped and it makes so much money you can import food. I make only chickens and import veggies. Also I prefer to import berries and dyes.

Ibelieve this version is not the nerf to Archers i think. The strat would have to change to spearmen until they fix Archers.
This is the version the day before release. Sorry if there's some imbalances since then but this was highest difficulty on my version that i had on the pc.

It's possible to activate a policy to double the wild animals recovery rate while negatively influencing crop groing. Which is no problem if you don't crow crops.
For some reason this policy sounds like it only applies to a 'rich' hunting ground, which is kinda strange. Seems like it should boost any hunting ground, rich or not.

Okay I think you may have a chance. After seeing that first battle I noticed your running this on the pre-release version? The one where archers actually kill stuff?^^ Maybe there's a chance then. They do next to nothing in the current version!

You can tell by the version number in the bottom right. This is pre-release. So it's not really "EXTREME - HIGHEST" difficulty because in the current game, Archers aren't OP like they were pre-release, lol.
The archers were nerfed way too hard in the current release version yes. This version here is recorded on the day before release so archers were fine then.
Now it feels like they are shooting nerf darts at the enemy 😭

What do You think about idea of attacking bandit camps on winter or quickly before spring to grab money for village and by more oxes or develop 2nd tier of houses with uprades like chicen/vegatebales? Clearing them is very helpfull to kick in development? I dont have that game so I dont know is it good plan but it should be usefull.
it is but not in this series, he doesn't have enough soldiers to destroy the camps, in a normal playthrough where you receive spears for free you'd do that.
Why do you avoid double family burgages so much? Is it intentional?

Archers are nerfed to the oblivion, even 64 archers in 4 salvos does not kill the most basic bandit out there. Is it intentional or a bug is the real question.
A bug! My version has not seen this bug so I hope it's not happening soon
I don't think it's a bug, they were simply nerfed.
Archers are OP irl.
Really would like to play this... But I can't stupid errors when I try logging into it.. Devs should fix it asap. Seems many people have this issue
When you say "devs", keep in mind it is a SINGLE guy developing this game 😅I'm sure critical bugs like this are first priority, and I'm sure he's doing his best, but again... a SINGLE guy, keep that in mind (for everything about this game).
@@mikmad97 He's actually hiring help these days because there's still so much work and a lot of hype. I think it's a smart decision, otherwise you end up like Valheim with content being released way too slow and people lose interest.
Check out the trade development branch. There was something about trade routes.
Have a look at his first series with this game from a month or so ago. He knows how it works.
Can you give some helpful advice for firewood and berries? I have a woodcutter's lodge and forager hut filled with people and their area of working it close by, but I am always quite low on those two things. I don't know if it is due to a backup of supplies not getting to market or just a bug with the game. Also I have about 40 homes for context.
How many of each do you have? When I was around 30 homes I was needed 2 woodcutters lodges. Especially through winter when they use double logs.
Archers are complete ass unfortunately. I fought the lords army and our infantry just kind of stood looking menacingly at each other my archers and his just fired like 10 volleys at each other. I think both of us together lost maybe 4 archers total...Combat seems kinda broken atm....
it's not broken, archers were simply broken before and now they are balanced. They only require bows which means they are way too cheap to recruit so it is completely justified the nerf in damage.
@@HenriqueRJchiki Even the developer said the archers need fixing, they were nerfed out of the face of Earth. I haven’t seen an archer kill anything in any of my games, and I sure as hell fired half of Amazonas worth of arrow right into their faces. This is ridiculous at this point, can’t wait for the first patch.
