You begin the game with only your home planet and must research new technologies, explore the known galaxy, and colonize new worlds while keeping your people at home happy. At the same time, you will engage in trade, diplomacy, intrigue and war with other alien civilizations.

Eh, I love the game, but it's upsetting each series get dropped so early into runs. Would be great to see lategame in your performance, but I guess that won't happen...

I am glad you finally got around to assigning ministers to exploration, technology, and colonization; this should have been done on the first turn. Once you have the spare credits for ship commanders you can pick up some ships beyond what you can build yourself.
