- Watch the crash test of the 2022-2023 Tesla Model S, which demonstrated good protection for the knees and femurs of both the driver and passenger in the frontal offset test. The Model S also performed well in the full-width rigid barrier test, side barrier test, and side pole impact test, with good protection for all critical body areas. The advanced eCall system alerts emergency services in the event of a crash and automatically applies the brakes to prevent secondary collisions.

The windscreen that does not break on such a strong side impact I have rarely seen that.
this is why i'm going to get a tesla one day
buy a hellcat lil bro 🙏🙏

The B pillar of the car held remarkably well against the pole. One of the best I have seen.
very nice car
best ^ ^, i love tesla :)
vaccum cleaners more like
@@thewaffle3945 Haha no
As much as I dislike their build quality, their safety is on another world, and your family safety matters is a no brainer to go with Tesla
wow🥰🥰
Finally the crash test of the plaid
What Abt the tesla model x 2022
It falling 200 ft was good enough safety for me. All they need os a built in tarp to cover it of it catches fire.
EVs chance of cathing fire is smaller than an ICE car catching fire while not operating, just so you know. media just cherry pick every video they see of an knockoff chineese ev catching fire
for a brand that can't align it's panels right, I'm shocked
The amazing thing is that you know how to get on the wed
Iam too shockjed
panel gaps don’t really compromise safety

I biggest fan on Tesla
Why?

Tesla sucks
That's plaid performance 😁
Is that a 2013 Model S?
@Colin Mensch the joke was this: the model s hasn’t changed in style
@@cop2506 lol. Nice joke but it's not the same of course
@@cop2506 2013 model S is ugly in my opinion lol. The change they made to the front of the car in 2017 was VERY necessary and the change they made in 2021 perfected it by making it look more aggressive.
@@cop2506 there’s alot of changes, chrome trims became black (2021 facelift) black nose cone grill removed (2016 facelift) simpler foglights (2021 facelift), different tail lights (2021 facelift) and interior changes like the new steering wheels (2021 facelift) and different UI on the infotainment screens over the years
man do i loveee tesla model s plaid. haters loose up shi and say its poor built but its actually not its the soft people that wants to die in gas cars
The main reason seems to be the frunk. Every EV should have one.
its not the main reason, but i get you
Cadillac Escalade 2023
Question is was the test done with the battery pack in it?
Why wouldn't it?
Obviously lol. You would want to know if the battery would catch fire right? EV fires are extremely rare compared to petrol cars.
Why did y’all have to repost he vid
Good cars but I’m not buying one until they fix the battery replacement cost. Hearing horror stories of people having to pay $25k when the batteries fail for their car to work again is absolutely absurd. Cars with 60-70k miles too. Garbage.
okay and you act like blown motors don’t happen
@@gavcom4060 No because apparently Supercharged SS motors are ultra reliable 😂
Tesla batteries have 150,000 mile warranty or 8 years, whichever comes first. On older models it was 8 years or unlimited miles
And Volvo is still the king of safety
Where is Volvo from?
@@voiceofreasoningelliott5849 suede
@@voiceofreasoningelliott5849 their owner by China now
Actually Tesla is, look at the scores
not anymore
Just seeing that headlight fly off completely shows Tesla's poor body quality design.
Edit: And not just that but other parts too.
bruh its suppose to crumple to protect the occupants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just wait till you hear how humans would do the same without seatbelts. That must be the cars fault that we have inertia, right?
I think the least of your concerns in a crash is if the headlight will fall out.
@@VOLTRONDEFENDER4440 Yeah I think Volvo do better since there quality is always number one, and the safety is absolutely amazing. Same goes with Tesla but there known for poor quality control.
hah its pretty funny, 0:15 the R headlight continues forward on the original path, when the car is stopped by the half frontal collision.
