- We review a horrible first bike: the Yamaha R6. Gugh! If you get this as a first bike you are a Dumb-Dumb.
Dummy, dum dum dum bro-dum. Ugh, you're the type of dumb that buys a motorcycle without a title and buys a helmet from the Dirt Mall. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I Got a turbo hyabusa for my first bike and now I'm in heaven watching CZcams videos!
Was yammie proud
Emil Vids what should I get for my first bike I have been riding dirt bikes all my life should I get a stretched swingarm r6 or a turbo busa
Victor xD
are u sure u are not in hell?
Victor stretched swing arm turbo busa
this has more HP than my first car.
This has more HP than my first 3 cars...
this has more HP than anything i've ever owned
it has about what my first 2 cars had combined
This has more horse power than my donkey.
This has less horsepower than my first car.
I rode an R6 once. Within 10 seconds I was doing 3 times the speed limit and honestly, I swear I thought I hadn’t broken the limit at all. Smooth like a glass dildo, sexy like a bald badger. The R6 is a capable machine for sure.
Supersport bikes are fucking bonkers on the street. The only way to have fun on one is to go WAY outside the confines of the law.
@@nomadben Thank you. That's what I'm talkin about. I've had my R6 for 3 1/2 years. I've never operated it within the confines of the law and never will. This bike has enabled me to "shit on the man and rub his face in it" at the same time. It has saved me $200,000 and 200 years in prison because I have "Felony Eluded" the cops over 40 times on it, I'm pleased to report.
👋🏿 um, yeah, aah how do you know a glass dildo is smooth?? Don't say it's an assumption, you hadcto know, to even think of that line!🤔
Glad i went for the FZ-6 S2 "Fazer" instead.
MetallicaSindre truth same. Made it naked, and it’s a blast.
I like how you said that cars will eventually drive themselves ( they have ), but bikes will always need us. Well said dude.
Cars will always need us too, don't trust computers, they crash too!
@@HalfdeadRider your missing the point of the statement
@@grim2987 Not really, there are actually self riding motorcycles too, obviously not out on the streets, BMW does one 👍
@@HalfdeadRider You're DOUBLY missing the point. Holy fuck...
@@HalfdeadRider what he means is the motorcycle *NEEDS* you, you are a cruical part of the machine. In a car you are inside but on a motorcycle you are the finishing touch. You litterally become one with the machine (legs around tank, hands on bars, butt on seat and feet on pegs)
I'm thinking of getting a bike, I'll take your advice on board, and then probably get an R6 anyway, see you in a year.
Quacktics are Go lol
Hey we're here to talk about your addiction
So its been a year
Dude do it this video is just stupid
It’s been a year how’s the bike
124 hp? Damn, my first new car only made 130 hp. That bike is a car without the rest of the car.
and missing two wheels....
you are the type of person to point out obvious things in implied statements arent you? lol

Hey guys, I've never rode a Motorcycle before....but I've decided to get a Ninja H2 R as my first bike.
Good choice but If you want to learn how to lean on turns,a turbo busa would be a good starter.
@Andrew Humphrey yeah thats a good choice aswell but You cant lean with that bike Its too heavy because it has 5 cylinder but hayabusa has 4 and a turbo,so Its lighter and more powerful.
755hp I'm looking at. R3 or Ninja 300
@Andrew Humphrey Oops I mistaken that bike with RC211V,my bad.
Jonathan Young Engine size 650 has a 650cc engine and the 400 has a 400cc
That was my exact first bike. It’s a really great bike to start on if you have some self control. I’ve never dropped it, never wrecked. Been riding it for 3 years now and it’s a awesome bike!!
im 17, have lots of driving expeirence and an overall good driver, I want to get into motorcycles and really drive any motor vehicle within my limits, would an r6 be a bad first buy for me?
@@zachv1035 As long as you’re responsible with it, and exercise some caution ( especially when first starting) it’s not a bad idea. It has a lot of power to give so treat the throttle with respect and show some restraint. it should all go well. Now as far as a “first bike” it’s great in the sense you won’t grow out of it. Some people ride a 600cc bike and never upgrade, and tbh that’s completely rational. The R6 will handle whatever the road throws at you, and then some. But if you have never ridden a motorcycle in general or a sport bike more specifically, I would not make the R6 the first bike you ever ride. It is relatively light in terms of super sports. But the R6 particularly has a more aggressive riding position and a very reactive throttle. If your comfortable on bikes already, and have a Grasp on the basics of riding The R6 is great, and if your set on a 600 the R6 is the way to go.
Lucky you, I used to crush a CB125 because an old man ran a red light.
His leg is broken and I fall on my butt without scractch.
@@zachv1035Your insurance is going to bend you over a barrel without even a courtesy spit. Grab a middleweight P-twin if you want to start on something with balls that’s also not going to cost you a third of the value of the bike in liability alone.
Never underestimate the power of the Dunning-Kruger effect
I have a Yamaha Keyboard. It's pretty fast.
:D
Yeah Boi!
DGX 660cc FTW!
This is the funniest fucking thing I have ever read.
I've played a Yamaha guitar. It had a pretty fast neck.

The new fans don't know that he has done bikes before
I think his motorcycle reviews are my favorite ones.
'Not a carrrrr...'
And lawnmowers. He should review moar lawnmowers.
UUUGGGGGHHHHHH THIS ISNT A CAR.
Great review! Glad bikes are back. 1 thing, Nate Diaz not Nick Diaz. Keep up the great work.
I think he just convinced me to get one now
Just do it. It will rapidly increase your reflexes and you'll be amazed because it really has excellent handling characteristics. 75 mph feels like 40 mph on it. I've only been up to 135 mph on mine and it was still pulling hard but I got scared and shut it down. It can get up there so fast you don't realize it. I knew I was travelling in excess of 100 mph but I was shocked to find I was doing 135 mph. Things were flying by me though pretty freakin fast when I think about it.
@@evanmorrow1234 I tried my friend's gsxr 600 for the first time a few days ago coming from a 250, I unintentionally hit 149 (in mexico). That quantum of pure bliss has kept me awake for the last 3 nights. It is on par with every orgasm I've had with a girl. I have decided to buy it from him for full asking price because I cannot wait to hit that speed again.
@@CarsMeetsBikes And that is the perfect way to describe the danger of these motorcycles. Good luck friend.
@@nomadben Hello nomadben, I've since bought the bike and within the one month I've owned it, I've ridden it about 3500 miles. I've hit the top speed a good amount of times and have really given it the guts in the twisties, scrubbing off the remaining chicken strips my friend left behind and seriously pushing the bike to the limits. The fact I'm still alive is very likely a miracle in itself but I would hope to say that in this mere month I've owned this 600, I've progressed an impressive amount as a rider. The growth may not be as drastic as being a complete noobie on a 250, but I think I have what it takes to tame the beast
@@CarsMeetsBikes I'm glad it's working out for you.
What kind of paradise do you live in with those roads and $5000 Yamaha R6?
Arizona, the south of the south west
California has both of those.
Jason Mac Wisconsin and picked up a 2007 Yamaha R6 with 7k for $3,700. These are great bikes and great value
@Fail Zero also true, except for the communism. Socialism, sure, but we don't yet have communal property.
@Fail Zero I would never recommend living here; but coming out to buy a motorcycle and/or ride one is okay. The weather here is about the only good thing I have to say about it.
Blinker constantly on. True R6 rider.
- motorcycles don't have self cancelling turn signals
Yeah. This is a dumbass comment. Bikers know the turn signal deal and wouldn't bother to mention it in a comment like this.
hahaaa
shit im sorry I though you commented about me. sorry man

This reminds me: Speed Wars Documentary? I'd love an extra length RCR about the dick measurement race of bike manufacturers in the 90s!
He said he would love to do a 90s motorcycle speed wars documentary
There has been an international dick measurement contest since 2003/2004 because Wold Superbike Championship allows 1000cc 4-cylinder bikes. Just look at the escalation of power between 2001 and now, it is INSANE
Yess! Heck I have a CBR1100XX Blackbird he can do a review on too!
SnowBanditt CBR1100XX, because somebody had to loose the *Speed Wars*
he did talk about it and how hed love to do it in his review of the hayabusa
lmao... My first bike was an R6, and you absolutely nailed everything.
It's been two years, are you still alive and well?
@@vonhellsing6406 I guess there's your answer...
Can you still move your legs or is it a wheelchair life now?
R6 was my first bike too, I'm still alive babyyyy
Really fun bike to work on, pretty easy to take everything apart and put back together.
@@vonhellsing6406just got a r6 today as my first bike and I have a history with dirt bikes the start of this vid was directed to me I’ll update you in a year
This video made me buy a 2005 Yamaha R6. I've had it for 3 years and I absolutely love it, so much so that I wake up looking forward to the ride to my boring job. Thank you RCR
Whew, what a relief. I thought you had given up on MCs for these reviews. That was a long dry spell.
He needs to review a modern enduro bike to talk about the insane torque they have and how race-ready they are (susp + exhaust and you can go for a national title)
graham Jarvis just tweeks his suspension. his fmf silencer is just to keep sponsors happy
This.
A year ago I watched this video and bought an r6 when I was 18 for $2400 as my first bike, it's a year from now and I agree with everything said. I haven't dropped or crashed yet but talk about cheap power that really shouldn't be a starter bike. It's possible to start on a 600 just not fun. This video nails it, subscribed.
Furthermore, you didn't actually be learn how to *be* fast, you're just going fast on a mountain of horsepower
Fast bikes will make you go fast, slow bikes teach you hot to _be_ fast
Couldn't agree more! Had my 05 r6 as a starter bike and thankfully talked my way out of two speeding tickets. Sold it shortly after :) now I have the 17 z650
You are rational and intelligent among a sea of not-so-much comments.
“ ItS PoSsIBle tO sTaRt On a 600, JuSt nOt FuN”
There are 3 kinds of comments from those who start on powerful bikes.. "yea if you respect it you will be fine. It only goes as fast as you tell it to"
Then there are "yea it was a bad idea, I wrecked in the first season"
And last but not least.. "yea you are right, I havent went down but yea other people probably couldn't handle it like me hurrr durrr"
I started on a grom. Honestly, best decision I ever made as a rider going from off road to on. Say what you will about small displacement bikes, but in the end, making mistakes on a small bike to start is allot better that making them on a larger bike.
Instructions unclear, I bought a 2005 Yamaha R6.
lowered R6..... dear god why?
Some riders are short. Need firm legs on ground during traffic stops.
tippy toeing in my jawdins!!!! it's what I do
but how does he get over speed bumps?
you know how there's a split in the middle? that's for motorcycles
As a short rider I understand this but this but you don't lower it by three inches. That's an insane drop.
NOT A CAR!
NOT A CAR!
NOT A FUCKING CAR

NOT HIS FIRST BIKE REVIEW!
How you gonna make me laugh and crush my dreams at the same time.
I had a SV 650s as my first bike years ago. Its what I always recommend to people for their first bike. It has a very linear power band. No surprises when you are accelerating hard. It has enough power to keep up with faster bikes anywhere but the interstate. You can also turn it into a track bike when you finally buy a faster bike. Lots of people track them so its easy to find information and parts. Its also just a great bike and lots of fun.
I really wish Mr R would review the new beginner bikes since the Ninja 250 is pretty much an antique compared to the new gen gems like the SV, FZ/MT07, KTM 390s etc.
GUILTY-16 years ago the 19 year old me made, word for word, that exact argument FOR the R6 as a first bike and as expected- I won the moron award and went down hard. The intro Mr Regular wrote up for this is the most accurate I have yet to hear.
Pretty much every word of this review rings true. The best and the worst of motorcycling.
Same, but with a Kawa 600 :D
Same, CBR 600
I have a r6 too as a first bike. Almost slipped out of a corner.
Had ZX6 as 1st bike in 91. Anything less would have soured the thrill reason for getting a bike.
regular lawnmower anyone?
YARD MAN
He needs to do another one
Which John Deere is best John Deere?

"... And the battery holds a charge just long enough for the hour and a haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalf you'll need to mow your lawn."
SEARs craftsmen with B&S engine.. dont get any regular then that
This is one of your best videos. Really points out the social implications of an R6.
I love how personal and gritty true these reviews are.... owning this exact bike just makes this video that much sweeter because everything he says is 100% true and resonates between my ears.
Entire video is just like..... right!??!?! I know right??
a lowered R6...doesn't get much squidier
Stretched, lowered R6
stretched lowered hayabusa turbo with a stupid wide rear tire and an airbrush paintjob
+stephen deben and a black guy with no gear or helmet riding it?
alx917 thats the only type of people you'll ever see on a bike in myrtle beach
What if the rider is just short?
I've been driving 6 years without a single accident, but I crashed within a month of getting a bike (Without even being reckless). Gear up and get something you don't care about if you decide to start riding.
Lawrence Lentini i hear that man same happened to me, within 1 week. Im not a bad driver, I just live in Colombia, where the traffic is a mess. It was a $900 (new) 125cc bike, cost $30 to fix. A year and a half later, I'm on an MT-03 and I can really enjoy it and understand it.
@@mikemhz that's not a bike bro, that's a scooter haha
@@GuitarGuy650 a scooter has a footwell, that's why more powerful ones are called maxi-scooters. Aprilia, Yamaha, and more all make +300cc "scooters". They're basically very comfortable motorcycles, like a Honda Goldwing. My 125cc had the riding position and styling of a 1970s Kawasaki, it's a low-displacement motorcycle, and don't try to tell me and the millions of other people who drive sub 200cc motorcycles all over the developing world that they are in fact not motorcyclists.
@@GuitarGuy650 Not sure if this is true in Colombia, but here in the States most motor vehicle departments consider scooters to be motorcycles.
And don't sell a scooter short - they can be pretty fun even if they don't impress the dudebros riding 600's in shorts.
That was one of the best “amateur” car/motorcycle reviews I’ve ever seen.
My first street bike was literally this exact bike.. just respect the power, gradually push yourself and don’t just rip the throttle. Take advanced motorcycle courses and become comfortable.. you’ll love love love this bike I promise

just got a 2007 r6 for my first bike last week. ive only crashed once so far!
How did you crash? Thinking about picking up a 05 R6 tomorrow for my first bike
Legendary Loso both times I went down were in my driveway. The bottom of my driveway is gravel and when I pulled in at a slight lean, the bike just slipped out from under me. The second time I crashed I was coming down my driveway, it’s like 1/4 mile long, and hit a big rock, about the size of a softball as I was rounding a curve. Same thing happened, the bikes front tire washed out from under me and I ate shit.
The r6 is super tame at low rpm so if you’re smart it can actually be a decent beginner bike. Now mine feels slow af and it’s only been a year
Brando Loudly come on that barely counts as a crash, you just slipped a little hard
@@futureshit-glungis7202 yeah tell that to my exhaust tho
Brando Loudly oh no. But i mean thats luckily not a real mid or high speed crash, not a traditional low or high side you just tipped over on the ol rocks. But rip to your exhaust in that case
This was the best bike review I've ever seen. Hands down. Well done Sir.
I love this review, makes me laugh at myself. I got a '04 FZ6S (detuned R6 engine, power at 7-12krpm instead of 8-13k) as a first bike at the age of 27 and I thought I was reasonable enough for such a 600cc bike . I was not. :)
Just bought a 09 FZ6R for my second bike lol, kinda nervous but excited as hell
Did you crash ?
@@KP0724 Yes, on my first season :)
@@Degwees Learned it the hard way ^^ take care and ride safe!

This is one of the most accurate reviews this year, I love it.
I was a little sad when this ended. Great narrations. Wish I could like it twice.
The intro, is the most accurate thing I've heard this year.
People who lower bikes are stupid... Wait... I'll be charitable: People should not lower their bikes because it adversely affects handling by limiting ground clearance for cornering. It also looks stupid. Also speed bumps on the road. Just don't do it.
I know a few people who lowered their bikes so there feet touch the ground tho
+MrSir Connor I'm 5'7" with an inseam that is on the strong side of 29"/light side of 30". My last three bikes were a Multistrada 1200S, KTM 1190 ADV R, and currently an Africa Twin. The, "but I'm too short," argument doesn't (ahem) stack-up with me. 😛
Most important problem, it fucks up with the geometry of the front suspension, one of the most important things on a motorcycle.
WRXXXual You say 5"7 like it's short... I know someone with a ninja 300 that has been lowered around 3 inches and he still needs to tip toe when he stops (not sure of his exact height or bike seat height) i'm just saying i would never lower a bike myself as i am over 6" but there is most certainly reasons why people do that are not "stupid".
Yamaha engineers, guys who can do math, in their heads, try and make these bikes as low as possible. The best way to do it is to shave the seat, or even better, BUY ANOTHER BIKE. They aren't going to lower the baskets in the NBA any time soon either. But, fuck the motorcycle industry for not making ergos adjustable, imagine buying a car if it only had one seat position.
"Imma get a r6"
I remember watching this video 4 yrs ago before I started riding, and it only made me want to start on a 600 even more. I learned that "keeping your inner bro in check" was harder than I thought lol.
Bit out of topic question:
What's the original song from the opening? It sounds pretty familiar
Bikes need a human to function..... gyroscopes man... gyroscopes.
Lol
Then you're either going to have it heavier than a human-operated bike, or unmanned, and why would you ever want that.
Why would it be heavier? The wheels are the gyroscopes for stability.. and for sensing there are solid state gyroscopes smaller than a tic tac---like those in your phone. A half a dozen servos for throttle, brakes, clutch, steering.. and a bit of movable ballast for cornering.. and there you go.
Easier said then done dude. Plus, the wheels are only gyroscopic while rotating at a decent speed.
And there's the fact that Yamaha made a motorcycle riding robot.
My first bike was a 1991 Suzuki Katana 600. It had 86 horsepower, and was fast enough to keep up with corvettes and mustangs, but it was nothing like a supersport 600, like this R6. A friend of mine bought a CBR929RR as a first bike, and wrecked it 2 weeks later. dumbass.
I wouldnt say it's sensible to start on something bigger than a Suzuki GS500.
I owned a 92 Katana, 86 horsepower was optomistic, but it was a very fun bike.
And the 929RR was a "1000cc sportbike" before those sportbikes went mad. Honda and Kawasaki mark the moment 1000cc sportbikes went mad because manufacturers really wanted to win the WSBK title. There is a big difference in the *Before the CBR1000RR and Kawasaki ZX-10R* times and the after
NoBrakes23 he's either lucky, or he has no balls. the chances of someone crashing a bike are 130%, and much higher if you have a 1000cc superbike
First bike is a Hayabusa.Never been down and ride hard.People underestimate common sense and self control
So what's the 300cc +|- equivalent that has better gas mileage and does 0-60 at a safer 5 seconds in a standard(rather than sport) bike?
The intro to this video is EXACTLY the same kind of conversations/advice I've been having w/ experienced Motorcyclists; they all told me *NOT* to get an R6 as a first bike....mainly, because of the non-linear powerband.
So did you buy an R6 or can you still walk and feed yourself?
Mr Regular starts motovlogging in 3. . . 2. .
unfortunately he sold his bike last year I think also he does not have an icon variant
he reviews bikes but not as much as cars.
Air Doctor "like bikes not as much as cars" should be Yammie Noob's list
I wonder if he'll do more car stuff now that he crashed his Daytona and cracked 2 vertebrae. He posted a video about his crash an hour ago.
Mr. Regular would you like to review my 05 Kawasaki 636?
Thanks. I will.
Check his Video on how to email him...
He should totally do this
but this video is a review of the same type of bike of the same year..
NOT A CAR.
So I'm wondering. I have been driving and racing Harley davidsons for some years now. I want to buy a sport bike but should I treat it like I've never driven a motorcycle?
I got my permit this year and my first bike is a 1985 Honda magna v40 did I make a good choice?
For an 18 year old, fresh outta high school? Hell no, this is a terrible first bike, doesn't matter if they road dirt bikes all their life. But for someone in their mid-twenties or older? Sure, they're mature enough by then. I'd still rather start on a R3 though.
Bought my R3 at age 27. Having had dirt bikes as a kid but no real street experience I'm glad I stuck with something small. Theres been a handful of times where if I was on anything faster I would have ATE SHIT.
It's as if an 18 year old got a Huracan as a first car, except even worse because bikes are way "harder" to drive safe and much more punishing if you don't.
I'm no bike guy, but my personal reasoning is that if you want to learn how something works, you need to be able to learn on all its limits, lower and upper. If you can't handle a high revving engine that is not crazy powerful, starting on this is a stupid idea. Because you will learn how the bike handles at low rpm, but then once you reach the powerband you just die because you've never been on the powerband of a reasonable bike to understand what it means.
I am 16 and I own a 2005 R6. I know I am not responsible enough to ride something with that much power. But I still love it!
I mean my first bike was a 98 fzr600 that I bought when I was 16, I'm 18 now just upgraded to a 03 cbr600rr and haven't died or crashed yet. I think it just depends on your mentality and you have to make sure if you're gonna do dumb shit find a desolate road or area with no traffic or pedestrians.
Got to die of something, and as we call them mobile organ donor god bless 13k rev and going backwards through the gates of heaven at 155
far more people die in SUVs.
But an R6 would be more fun.
Yeah I get that there are about 100 SUVs for every bike on the road.
Far more people own SUV's
Whatever, Americans are afraid of everything except what they should really be afraid of.
The most important lesson you learn about driving fast vehicles is that it's not about bravery or raw skill or reckless abandon, it's about restraint. You have to be able to predict the future like a fortune teller as though they weren't scam artists. Scanning for gravel, oil slicks, inattentive drivers, cracks, potholes, corner radius changes constantly. It's about always knowing where the point of no return is and never crossing it. This isn't to say you can't own or use a truly fast vehicle, but you need to have the sensibility of Arnold in Terminator 2 scanning the road in his infrared vision to do it and come out alive. You need to understand tire grip, brake threshold, suspension travel, weight transfer, throttle control, and have all of your inputs trained to maximize each in any given scenario without conscious thought. Computers won't save you, either, those computers just allow you to go faster and faster before you run out of ability and it's too late for the computer to save you.
And this is why high speed racing is a sport. The best drivers in the world are practically athletes.
How about as a 2nd bike? I'm using yamaha y15zr or 150cc boi
Will it be alright? Or should i go for r25 instead for the rest of my life?
It's all about the rider, not the bike. A squid will wipeout on a Honda Grom or Ninja3, but I've known guys not even old enough to drink that behaved responsibly with liter bikes as their first bikes and never crashed them.
Sometimes the more powerful bikes are easier to ride in a responsible fashion because those torquey engines let you short shift them.
NoBrakes23 Yup. If you're not able to handle a street bike a 250 won't save you.
ya ride it like a pussy
a 250 is a street bike yay!
Lol r/moto circlejerk shit. Most squids I know have never wiped out, only a couple have looped a wheelie.
Most of the hi-viz uncles in my area are little fucking bitches that can't even ride in rain, or over wet leaves, and have spas attacks about 'em. gtfoh
Bad thing is most squids will always choose the 600 when they have the money.
How do you feel about a fox body mustang review Mr. Regular?
yeah. I'd like to see one of those too

I've been putting motors on bikes and anything with 2 wheeles for as long as I can with any motor I can get my hands on.. turning 17 soon.. got any good ideas for a good bike with some good torque+nice acceleration?( Not worried about top speed )
hey how tall is the guy in the beginning of the vid? red jacket? what is his inseam? sorry but i want to make sure I am not too tll
My first bike was a 2007 Ninja ZX-14, it was my only transportation for 6 years, but I'm 6'8" and 320lbs, so I'm kind of too big for anything else.
Horseshit.
It's absolutely true.
No, he's right, that's horseshit, sit on a touring bike or an adventure bike it's way more confortable than any sports/sports touring bike.
Typical American. You probably couldn't ride it properly.
I've ridden Touring bikes, I didn't like them, I like sport bikes, that's why I bought one, I put 67k miles on my 14 before I sold it, I knew how to ride it properly.
$5,000 for an 05 R6? Great. I have one. 2nd owner. In PRISTINE condition. I'll sell it for $5,000, right now.
Jeremy H. OBO ? 😎
more like $2000 lol most bikes under 2008 sell for 3000 or less
BrianShaggy074 bikes like the gsxr 600/Honda 600rr 2006-2008 still sell round 3-5.2k max r6 r semi cheap, but it all depends on miles, 10k and the drop pretty well (from what I’ve been seeing in my area, in Cali it’s another story.)
Michael Powell here in Chicago bikes are cheap af, miles don't matter much because I've seen bikes with less than 10k look and sound like shit than ones with 50k
I'm picking one up for $3300 clean tittle, new tires, chain, sprocket, and only 7,404 miles
What’s wrong with the rear ended on this bike? It looks like they lowered only the rear. Or is it the suspension is too soft for the weight of the rider?
I’m riding Suzuki fx125 1 year now, I also ride sometimes for fun xtx 660 or CB 400 , can a Yamaha r6 be my 2nd bike?
The best R6 review I've ever seen :) greetings from Poland 🇵🇱
It's weird. You say you are a car guy first, but you only ever go into numbers when it's a bike.
I'm a car guy... but I'm a bike lover. Mr. Regular is like me in a way, I guess
Cars and bikes are both beautiful machines that each uniquely define my love for the open road.
Yeah, I really wished he went into the numbers during the Dodge Caravan Review :(
*real fart*
Motorsickles is where his heart is. Cars is where teh moneyz is.
A Dodge Caravan is good for hauling kids around.....
A Dodge Caravan is good for hauling kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Should I get a YZF-R6 that is limited to 35 kW for two year before I get a licence to ride it with full power. I own a YZF-R 125 now.
this is my 3rd bike, and i’m glad i waited. It’s truly great as a commuter and fun bike to putt around on, but i really did need a few thousand miles on a bike to build the discipline for this motorcycle. It’s painfully tempting with how smooth it gets above 8k rpm and the sound up there is just magical. Really amazing bike, but you need to be extremely honest with yourself about your limits. This bike *will* kill you, and i’ve had a friend die on an R6 when he pushed too far. Ride safe and enjoy this machine
My first bike was a ZX-6.
I rode above my skill level one night took a corner at 70mph and crashed.
Bikes like this are the end goal for me again at some point but he is not kidding when these bikes AREN'T for beginners. They aren't. ( But they are definitely sick as hell, fast and fun! But be careful! )
Connor fought Nate Diaz, you know...
The other Diaz brother.
Not the “Nah nah, don’t be scared homie” one.
i instantly did a double take when i heard that too lol
Any ideas on what's the better bike . The zx6r or the r6. I guess it's more opinionated but I'm a new bike rider and leaning more toward the r6. It's just a beautiful bike.
im getting a r6 and a restrictor but should i get a carb'd or fuel injected theres some good bikes for 2400-2800 i dont have the money to buy smaller bike and exchange it for a bigger one atm im on a 50cc geared moped wich is actually moded lol it goes 80ish km/h so im hoping everything goes well i know my limits and basics of revmatching positioning and stuff and always gotta remember show off with the sound while stationary not while driving :)
Remember that old Toyota Cressida from years ago? Do you still have that? I'd love a full review of that.
Hey Mr Regular do you ever think you'll come around to reviewing a Harley-Davidson?
I just got my first motorcycle.
A Road King Classic and it's a rough learning curve.
What chords and strum patterns did you use for both songs?!?!?!
I;m a cyclist is it ok to go for r6 as my first motorcycle? I already know what its like to go high speeds on a bike, not sure what the problem is here. I get cut off by cars all the itme on my bike. I see a r6 4500 miles 2005 for 4500 on autotrader. How long does it take to get comfortable with a bike on the road?
so many kids i want to tag lol that ended up in the hospital after getting some limited edition r6 lol
Stop using ''lol'', shit ain't funny.
@@Dennell_Mount_and_Blade lol
No U lol

No U lolololololololololololol
Mr. Regular, I have a new challenge sir. Since your a fellow Pa (Berks County) car scene guy…. can you review some of the Pennsyl-Tucky meet up spots like Sheetz, Wawa and Sonic and their cultural quirks?
I was one of "Those guys" and your videos are brutal so I'll be sure to snort a few rails of prozac before I watch if you decide to make a vid. Congrats on your success man!!
This is probably the best bike review I've ever seen of a bike there was passion, love and resentment lol
What 250 are you riding that has 40hp? I have a Suzuki TU250X and that's 14-16hp. The handful of 200-250cc bikes still around make about the same. Yamaha TW200 makes 14, CSC SG250 makes 16, Lifan KPM200 makes 16...
exactly what I needed. can't stop laughing. 10/10 review.
It was my 4th bike at 17. I had huge respect for it. Its really really fast and quick. And I miss it so much, have an injury from the army so I can never ride after I left for tour
You failed English hey..?
@@captninsno2320 no, its cause I dont get a shit about it on comments on youtube.
Justin H sorry to hear about your injury . Keep your chin up
Im am so torn on what to get as my first bike.. CBR600rr or R6, please help. I like going fast, but I also want to build confidence. And comfort is also an issue. I am leaning towards the CBR but the looks and price of the R6 are also very tempting...
Omgosh this channel is awesome. I can't believe I'm just now seeing these!!
the first 30 seconds were gold, literally laughed out loud.
I had a 99, last of the carby, tuned with a full arrow system, was a weapon for the time
Um...no...that entire generation used carbs, 02 was the last to use them before 03 came in with fuel injection
Thinking of upgrading to a 2005 R6 from an 02 cbr600f4i, still not sure if it's the best idea but this video definitely made me smile more than once 👍
thanks sooo much man . im 18 and i was going to buy an r6. gonna get a 300 now. any recomendations?
I never rode a bike in my life until At the end of 2016 I bought a 2008 Yamaha r6. Best decision of my life. Never been down *knock on wood*, and it's been my only vehicle for 2 years with about 15,000 miles of riding on it up to date. I rip that thing full throttle all the time too, it's just about when and where, and perceiving what can happen, and what to do if it does happen. I live in the Tampa Bay Area too which is about as populated as you can get. Ride Safe and choose the bike that you like and makes you feel comfortable. It's always ok to push the limits as long as it's not too much.
Good point , always adapt to conditions in traffic/road.
Eh when ya do go down its more of a just get back on keep going
Ive been down more times then i can count and hit by 8 cars ( 3 times my fault lol dont be a dickhead )
Still ride daily
thats what im talkin about brotha!
I know I'm late but couldn't agree more
How's it for comfort
Interesting that you emphasize the usable low end, when among supersports this bike has a reputation for having no torque but crazy top end power.
I think it's because usable != wheelie power.
It's got enough torque to be a pain in the ass to putt around in a city at sub 30mph speeds, but it won't wheelie in say, second gear, without dropping the clutch.
I never quite got that argument. The R6 pulls like 500 if you keep the revs low, if you're buying it with the intent of keeping the revs low because it's too fast on the powerband, then why not just get the 500 in the first place?
It has the same acceleration as a Honda Civic at lower revs. That’s perfect for commuting.
@Morning Sun Sparkles Dew on fresh grass lmao
@Morning Sun Sparkles Dew on fresh grass I flexed a few teens. It's kinda weird when you find out that you're older than their parents and it's a little embarrassing when those parents find out you've been flexing the shit out of their daughter for the past month. I live in a small town too. I figured out the key is to never look the parents in the eye if that happens. It's only happened once so far
Hey its me, 5 years later. Not dead yet. Got an R1. Man, look at those gas prices. Good to see you
Anyone know what kind of exhaust that is?
