The official bike of pulling into hooters just to use the bathroom and get and eyeful of sideboob.
from the girls or the rider?
@@alkydah6741 Yes
This is glorious
"I ride a Harley Davidson and I own at least 4 shirts that convey this."
pbfloyd13 Single wide, or double wide trailer?
Greendragon420able
"Girlfriends parents garage..."
Greendragon420able double wide here
and a harley sticker on every car i own
4? Those are rookie numbers
One of the most telling experiences I've had in my life on the whole Harley aesthetic was when I was younger and my family lived with my Grandma, we had a couple of neighbors who had Harley's and would ride past every once in awhile. They always had the loudest exhaust that would vibrate the antiques off the shelf and shake the house and my grandma would just watch out the window with a smile on her face as they drove by at a brisk pace. Later on down the road we had gotten new neighbors and they had a later teens to early twenties aged daughter who had a boyfriend who had a 600 sport bike (I can't remember the type probably an r6 or something) but he had a loud exhaust and the first day he drove by a similar pace to the Harley my grandmother called the front office of the neighborhood we were living at to complain that there was a motorcycle tearing up the streets in the neighborhood and was going to hit and kill a little kid. I never mentioned the irony of the situation that I had seen to her but it was always something that stuck in my mind about Harley riders vs Sport Bike riders.
94% of Harley Davidsons are still on the road today.....6% made it home.
Nothing against Harley but are there any reliable models out there?
@Gary 90's cb500
At least 400000kms before any big opération
Even with a careless rider and shitty maintenance
@@C4H10N4O2 Yeah but that's a Honda. It's a given that they're bulletproof.
@@t4rci427 any model made AFTER the end of the AMF era are very reliable. Models with 100,000 plus milea are a dime a dozen. Harleys got their bad rep during the AMF days, and for good reason, but realistically they are extremely reliable bikes and "well my uncle had one that...." doesn't change that.
It'll get you from A to B.
But it won't get you from B back to A again.
My aunt and uncle are Harley people. She wore a black leather wedding dress at their wedding.
I make as many 'Honda's are better' jokes as possible just to annoy them
The Trammell Do they live in a trailer park?
Greendragon420able
Not in a park, but in a double wide. It is fairly nice, but they have a Harley themed game room with a Harley pool table and Harley pool accessories, Harley stuff on the walls, Harley beer mugs, etc. And they don't wear helmets... Just Harley doo rags
The Trammell while in reality, only yamajas are better.
waclosh
Yeah, Yamahas are great. I'm looking for a dual sport and considering both
Huck you, naysayer. Honda shall smite!
This is what you ride when your winga dinga machine breaks down.
Or when this IS your winga dinga machine
LMAO @ "winga dinga" as adjective
in that case I hope the winga dinga mobile is something incredibly simple to work on. like a T bucket with a ford flathead
I spit my coffee out thanks
i've smoked a harley in my volvo yesterday.
my volvo isn't fast.
"I got no problem with god, it's his fan club I can't stand" :'D love it
Put that on a damn tshirt.

As American as low voter turnout.
Prashanth Panicker what part of "low" voter turnout don't you understand?
Yes. That WAS part of the video that I just watched.
I always get a good laught seeing my monday thru friday khakis and polo wearing neighbor bust out his skull covered doo rag only when he rides his bike then goes right back to wear sum oddly short shorts while mowing his grass it truly is cosplay for dads

Hey!! That’s me!! Haha
I never understood to doo rag thing I’m not a pirate I ride bikes all bikes just not Harley and I own three at the moment and also own two Yamahas Kawasaki bike and quad love them all and have never sported a doo rag like I said I’m not a pirate

He's done bikes before, he certainly likes to ride them.
HandjesBreda he used to own a suzuki bandit and did a review on the triumph daytona, bmw 1000 and the ducati 999999999
looks like some people don't understand the joke...
Penguin well the joke would have been a lot funnier if this was mr regulars first bike review which isn't the case. Not to mention he pretty much stated before about how passionate he was about bikes and if he had the budget he would make a documentary about the 90's speed wars
He's owned 9 bikes.
Im a Cowboy! On a steel Horse I ride!
I'm Wanted. Weeeekdays! Niine until fiiiive!
Harley Davidson- for those who want neither performance or low cost of purchase/ maintenance
Wait sport bikes have low maintenances?
Nick Rynearson Yeup. There's only two kinds of bikes. HDs and sport bikes.
Other than the chain, yes most of the big 4's sportbikes aren't as high strung as you'd think. My FZR1000 with the 5-valve genesis doesn't need a valve check until 26k miles.
Michael Zaite because screw you adventure bikes, dual sports, sport touring bikes, standards, metric cruisers, dirt bikes, and eduros.
Late 90's dirt bike owner here, got into a crash once, spent precisely 93 bucks to repair it. Fancier bike owners, like my uncle with his horrid looking/sounding Triumph Adventure, would be either writing their rides off as wrecks or selling the house to pay for the fix.
Harleys constantly impress me with how wide they are.
Two-wheeled cars. Goldwings too, but less expensive and more reliable.
Harley Davidson- the Ford Crown Victoria of bike (brands I suppose)
more like the lincoln ls
Pretty much!
Except the Crown Victoria is a reliable vehicle.
Son of a bitch I thought this same thing when I saw the thumbnail!!!
AfterDark3 nah fam the Jeep Wrangler is the Harley of cars
"so you can see my AR-15 tattoo I got in Daytona Beach Florida, on January 21st, 2009"

Gotdamn, I just *now* put those two together.
Oh shit, that's great!
So a Canadian Harley, it shakes but... WILL IT CHOOCH?
It does seem to leave schmoo on the ground though :-)

Can you review a wheelbarrow
Still waiting for that day!! Hopeful!!

The bell thing is a common bike thing. It's like a goodluck charm
This is one of the best episodes of RCR something about it perfectly balances what you guys are synonymous with, humor and insight.
Edit- Also it's good to be back in the states.
"I got no problem with God, it's his fan club I can't stand"
Am Christian, can confirm.
"If it stops dripping oil start worrying" just like a VW.
Truth.
I think British Leyland copyrighted that concept
Why do you think people love em, a vehicle that needs a pee pad becomes a pet
Friend of a friend was a NASA machinist who put a titanium valvetrain in his fully balanced and ported sportster engine... and Honda brakes on the bike. They can be made to go fast with enough effort.
Great stuff, I love the proper RCR videos - witty, entertaining and informative all at once.
The Gremlin Bell actually works!
I've got one attached to my '96 FLHR and never encountered any gremlins.
Also, a stage 2 Evo has some performance. That is present there. Yep.
This is the only good part of a monday morning
What you said about the engine making a lot of noise and not a whole lot of power reminds me of the 4.6L modular V8 when it first debuted in the 96 Mustang GT. It made something like 215hp but with a muffler delete it made some pretty amazing sounds, and you can rev the crap out of it without ended up at felony speeds. There's definitely something fun about an engine that is just loud without being super fast.
My 2001 4.6 f150 single overhead cam.Very similar to my dad's 283 Chevy impalla. The old 67 ran on and on and on.
Love this take on an old evo Harley. I ride one and it is comfortable like an overstuffed armchair as well as being kind of agricultural. Sort of like riding a farm tractor. They're simple but a bit strange and full of mechanical sounds and vibes. If you're not in a hurry they're ok. Not going to get a bar and shield tattoo though.
Yup, they do kind of remind me of tractors and I didn’t go for the bar and shield tattoo either
Is it bad I wanna see a review on a Honda Gold Wing now?
It's only right!
IT'S THE BEST!
I've known owners, they seem kinda in love with 'em.
Kane Jacobs which one? 1100, 1200, 1500, 1800, or new one?
The rolling couch? My dad wanted one at one point.
GREAT review. Thank you for this channel. I watch endlessly and am glad the show is back in the states.
I was just in a Harley Davidson dealer, the one in Dickson City (really close to me), I found a few models I'm definitely planning on considering getting next spring-time, just gotta make a choice. The newest models are very pretty looking and some are very light-weight and easy to handle. I've had Harley Davidson boots since I was like 15, can't wait to wear them for real.
I owned the perfect Harley, a Buell. It was a Harley without all the douche-baggery that comes with owning one.
Aleks M and that's why the powers that be had to kill the brand off. Nobody was buying Buell T-shirts, and wallets, and monogrammed condoms. The douche-baggery is the business model!
Had a 2004 XB12R Firebolt for a few years... man that was the perfect mix... I miss that thing.
If you want Douchebaggery just talk to just about any BMW Motorcycle owner. I ride all kinds of bikes, both on road and off. BMW riders are the cockiest guys around.
LOOOOOOOOOL "Monogrammed condoms"
I would consider a Harley if was a different branding like Buell. But as of now, no thanks.
Harley Davidson, the bike of "I like my violence like I like my beer; domestic"
shift linkage went out on my ultra classic, 5 miles from home, couldn't get it out of 4th gear to save my life, that torque monster of a motorcycle got me home stop go traffic in 4th gear
Roman's closing song is 50% full house theme and 50% Janet Jackson's "Together Again."
There's no joke here. Those songs just sound way more similar when he sings them.
Notices the Cruze following in the background in a few different scenes.
Please, just tear that thing apart. I wanna see how you compare it to everything from before, specifically the Cavalier and Cobalt XFE.
I've been waiting for Mr. Regular to review a Harley since the beginning of time, and I'm not disappointed at all
im a bike guy, and i found this channel because of the suzuki gs 500 review. and for this day i think that was one of the best episodes. please do more bike stuff :)
*NOT A CAAARRR!!!*
Nor a cat!
I love anagrams
its heavy enough to be called one :D
Moonraker Deep so is a goldwing lol
yeap, another 2wheel train :D
I remember watching a video with James May reviewing a Yaris (maybe a '99?), he said that the 60-so horsepower it produced was class leading, granted it was a 1.0L instead of a 1.3L.
My point being the power doesn't seem bad for 1990. The problem is that they still make similar power more than two decades later.
2:27 The shadow on the ground is how your soul feels whilst riding a Harley. Cheerfully loping along in the warm afternoon sun.
I found this while I was looking for repair videos. Not what I wanted, but it's just what I needed.
Keep those bike reviews comin'! It's nice to step away from cars once in a while as good as the reviews are.
"Dependapatomus" oh shit, did Mr. Regular serve?
I have one of those four camshaft Sportsters! They make the pushrod tubes look nice and orderly, unlike the Escher-inspired creation you see on this 'glide. The slant of the tubes becomes strangely hypnotic after a while, like nothing matters any more.
“If it doesn’t drip oil, it doesn’t have any”
-My grandpa
There are quite a few "Harley types" in Canada too. Sometimes just replace the Stars and Stripes with a maple leaf and they look the same
P77777777 I mean both nations are pretty similar culturally
+2bit MarketAnarchist yeah true except for Quebec and maybe Newfoundland
Well canada really isn't one nation but about 6 nations under one goofy leaf flag but 4 of those are similar culturally to the US
P77777777 Hey you wanna talk about what basically amounts to multiple nations under a goofy flag? Talk about the US, we've got fifty (+ a handful without any rights that apply to the rest of us) 'em! On a serious note what's different about Newfoundland? Quebec doesn't suprise me given the french heritage and from what I've read about their successionist grumbles, but the only thing I hear about Newfoundland is that the accent is funny.
Newfoundland didn't join Confederation until 1949. They were a British Colony all the way through WWII, and as such have a distinct culture as far as North America goes. They're very proud of their independent heritage, a little like Texas or California.
Ronald Jensen I'll be damned. Didn't know that. Thanks for the quick history lesson :)
Was that a cover of the O'Reilly Auto Parts jingle at the start?....
Yep
With a Full House intro at the end. :D
yes xD
I have one, I love it. And it does this cool thing when you twist the throttle....it gets louder.
As ever a fantastic video. The last line is one off the best things I've ever heard.
Mr. Regular has to run to get "slow mo" shots because the guy on the Harley can't ride it slow enough without putting his feet down. 2:31
Try keeping that heavy ass bastard up doing half a mile an hour with just your body weight. Watch yourself fall over and crush your leg.
@@ColeCapone My HD weighs over 4 times my body weight and yet I have no trouble. All you need is practice.
"I have no problem with god. It's his fan club I can't stand."
Legendary quote! Hahahaha
Glad to see another motorcycle! Your bike videos got me into your channel
"Unnecessarily rev-match approaching every red light". I've ridden with and watched Harley riders blip their throttle all the time but they're really not actually downshifting. Just blipping the throttle for no reason with the clutch pulled in. They do their downshifting after they've come to a stop. : )
LOL at the "dependapotamus" joke. Lots of Harley's and hogs on the back.
More bikes plz!
Yes! Motorbikes on this channel always a pleasant surprise.
Says the guy called "We Like Cars".
Shhhhhhh, I was hoping no one would notice lmao!
N O T A C A R
This has gotta be the funniest review of anything that I have ever heard. Fantastically entertaining!
Having just ridden across the country on my street triple and encountered soooooooooo many Harley riders, this was spot-on. I wish I could give a hundred thumbs up.
I don't know a Harley Rider who would give a fat fuck what you think about God, His fan club or Harley Davidson. I know I damn sure don't.
I owned a Harley and a Ninja 250 at the same time. It felt like the whole world hated both bikes...but I was having too much fun to care.
The best way I deal with other Harley owners is not to listen to them or ride with them. I like riding mine alone.
Cool a two wheeled car
Look at a Goldwing sometime.
Your videos are a precious work of art.
My dad has owned a Yamaha YX600 Radian and currently, a Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster. He seems to have liked the Yamaha better on just the fact that it was easier to work on. The Harley has been a nightmare as far as ease of access, to the point where the bike just no longer gets used anymore.
In terms of how it felt to ride it, he definitely liked the Harley there. He's used to the Yamaha which redlined somewhere between 10,000 rpm and 12,000 rpm, but he still found the Harley to be fun to hoon. He said it felt like the Yamaha spent only a few seconds in each gear and you were in sixth gear before you knew it. He thought that the Harley was slower but could at least keep up with the Radian. The Harley was a bit too heavy to pick up the front tire like the Yamaha, but instead, through first and second gear, he said the rear tire would break loose, so there was a little excitement too.
It's the big ass fairing. It's that thing that gives it that image. Also the studs and tassels that all Harley riders seem to NEED lol
Studs and tassels are for women's clothing.
Thanks for using metric system (1340cc)
This episode was something special. Loved it.
Thank you thank you Mr Regular for doing a review on my Favorite Motor bike.
Oh I saw that Pure Leaf iced tea...
You can't hide the truth from us forever.
Hey that shit's pretty good man.
Oh Jesus. Now you went and done it.
Your ending statement embodies both so well.
The only thing I miss about the sportster I owned for 2 months is the engine braking noise.
Holy hell thats a nice sound
That reminds me, Hispanics like to hang rosaries on their rear view mirrors lol
Is this Matt Farah's million mile lexus?
I was searching for this
This is Matt Farah's Million Mile Not-a-CAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR
Yes.
Its Matt BROWN'S Million BROWN Lexus
Yes goddamnit, are you happy now?
i bought a 17 Road Glide, and rode it from NC to Niagra Falls for the night. 1300 miles. Good ride.
I don’t think harley riders care what people think of them. I know that whenever a Harley Davidson goes by or one is at a stoplight, everyone notices and everyone knows what it is. I have a streetglide and an Aprilia, they’re both great bikes but I have more fun on the Harley and you can do more with it and travel further with it comfortably. Maybe I’m getting old, but I love it.
Regular Car Reviews comment section: for people who know little about cars, and even less about bikes.
This was a great episode!
You do realize it's very late and I need to sleep right Mr Regular? You do realize that.
I love you so much for this, RCR.
On my end there was an O'Riley auto parts ad.... so the spoof at the start was perfect!
Damn that last line
The greatest motorcycles begin with the letter Harley and end with the letter Davidson.
One of the best RCRs yet. Nicely done, and totally agree with all your points. I have the same issue with Harley and God too.
That Full House song parody at the end took me waaaaaay back
I love your videos let me just say that first but on these V twin bikes the rear cylinder definitely does get hotter than the front some manufacturers even go as far as to oil cool the rear cylinder but not the front . For instance my Suzuki intruder 1400 has an oil cooled rear cylinder and an air cold front cylinder. Offset or not the rear cylinder gets hotter.
How exactly does Mr. Regular not know of Blue Dot Taillights?
Just bought the same bike one year newer and guess what? I love it!
this is by a large margin the most fair review of any HD ever
Just do the damn panigale already. I need my 999 review on steroids
O'Reily jingle intro 😂
I just did the program last weekend, super easy, only ride my new bike for 4 weeks before I had the class
As someone who has been around harley riders, you are spot on.
I ride a harley to justify my love of leather and moustaches.
It's literally the only reason I can justify leather trousers at my age.
Easy to make something comfortable when you don't care about making turns. Just like Cadillacs.
Literallt love your reviews. The mocking is TOP NOTCH
The front and rear cylinders are on the same plane on a harley, due to the unique knife/fork arrangement of the rods.
Mr. Regular, best ending ever! " I got no problem with God. It's his fan club I can't stand."
Thank you! Best line yet!
sometimes I can't decide which is more obnoxious, the revving or the ear shattering music the rider blast at a stop light
Regarding the blue light mod, one night I was driving home from Gainesville and noticed this tractor trailer that had a bunch of taillights on the cab. One of those million lights had one of those filaments, just one. I can testify that by comparison, the filament did make that light brighter
Love the NOT A CAR reviews! Keep it up!
