I'm not saying it is a bad carpet cleaner but I don't think it might have been mint 4 a shag carpet like I said I don't know what happened it started back and then it stopped and wouldn't start back at all

it's the downside to this. I pull it out and then flush with the faucet, but they tell you to take it apart which involved 6 screws and it's finicky. but for the price and weight it works for me and I am willing to put up with it.
