    Sounds very loud. I got a cordless Tineco iFloor years ago and still love it. And it’s quiet. That’s the reason I didn’t keep the Bissell I got back in the day. Everyone in the house complained about how loud it was....and it had a cord.

    A fast clean method of the head on these machines is to put hot water in a shallow pan, shut off the brushes(dry mode) and suck the clean water through the machine. Do this as often as needed. This will not clean the brushes but should clean everything else if done right after use. Works for me.

  • @sarahdemoor2753
    @sarahdemoor2753 Před 3 lety +3

    They should make different grates of the spin brushes for different types of floors also I think it would benefit from a slightly stronger suction especially when using the cleaner booster button it might make your floors swell with hardwood as well as leave residual dirty water behind hence the reason for changing from a manual mop and bucket to a machine there wont be left over dirty water sometimes based on the heavily soiled factor of the floor it takes longer and more passes

    I purchased one today to replace my floor mate. I did not think I would like it because it had fewer controls(?). I found out that not only I did not need those controlls, but working was easier without them. It if by far a better designed machine than the Floor Mate as far as function, but it IS considerably more flimsy in construction.
    what's wrong with my Floor Mate? The flex hose at the hinge point has seperated in multiple places and no longer sucks up waster. I am still working oon how to take it appart and fix it, but in the mean time, I am very happy with the Dash machine.

    One thing you didn't show is what the impeller assemble is made of. I had a model FH40140 and it stopped working so I took it apart. It turns out that the impeller housing was made of steel!. It corroded so bad that it jammed and blew the internal fuse. I don't know what they were thinking except maybe it was a planned obsolescence.

    We're looking to purchase a cleaner for our floors (mostly laminate, bit of tile) - no pets, kids are pretty grown up - so light cleaning overall. This model seems good enough for what we're wanting, but I'm interested to know your opinion on which brand/model is the best in terms of performance, ease of use as well as, ease of clean up. Price preferably under 400. BTW, fantastic review! So thorough. Thank you.

    Will it pick up sand, coffee grounds and pet hair?

      You always want to pre vacuum before mopping or cleaning of any kind. This machine does a really good job. Don’t leave the solution container in it, though. Will clog up the sprayer holes. It is easy to clean those, with a paper clip.

    • @lisabilinski1929
      @lisabilinski1929 Před 2 lety

      Don't buy the floormate deluxe. I have one and they have water dispensing issues. If it didn't have that issue it would be perfect. If you search floormate deluxe water dispensing issues on here you can see what it does and how people have fixed it, but the issue never stays "fixed". I've taken mine apart several times and can't get it to dispense the water properly. So disappointed. If it actually ever did fix permanently I'd love it. But there's a design flaw with it...

  • @SmallPocketsBigRockets

    This thing sucks. It takes forever to clean because you use it like a carpet shampooer, it just barely sucks in the dirty water, have to do like 3 really slow passes or else your floor will look like a swimming pool. And the actual end result? It isn’t much better than using a $15 swifter from Walmart. Steam cleaning or scrubbing by hand is so much more effective than this cheap piece of crap.
