      @@dharmensoneji3360 not too sure, let me speak with SteelDive. This is a lengthy process. The cases need to be designed and manufactured but before this the cost vs benefits ratio needs to be assessed. I.e is it worth it? I've already addressed the thickness , but they can only look at it at the next batch. Until then il get some recommendations ready

    I for one quite like the size proportions. I'd still be inclined to get something closer to the original 62mas proportions, but I think it's a decent 1st version.

  • @eduardoantoniogarciacorrea6332

    @katerhofmann Před 4 lety +3

    I knew beforehand a Steeldive 62 is coming and was hoping their version would be an 38mm, sticking more to the original. But they went to make everything bigger, thicker and chunkier than the other 62mas homages.
    Was a bit disappointed when I saw that watch popping up in the online store last week, so i did an impulse buy on another colour variant of a seagull 63 pilot chronograph to feed my needs. And another chronograph I need as much as another diver.

    Hi buddy!
    Which one would you pick as your first automatic watch and your daily watch, the SD1970 or this one? Why?
    Daily, I would switch from the rubber to the steel strap, all depending on my outfit. I'm pretty active, and I want my watch to move with me; comfortability is a big thing for me.
    Btw I have a 17cm width wrist, so I wouldn't want a watch to look too big on my skinny wrist...
    Have a good one!

      The Watcher thanks for your answer ! I was leaning towards the SD1970 or SD1996, no bad choices I guess... The only thing is, I saw some models with manufacturing flaws (bent crown stem is the first coming to my mind) and I would like to avoid these models. Anyway, I just saw your new video about the SD1975 and I am now even more confused about which one to get... 😂

    @sary171 Před 4 lety +2

    Well after seeing the review good enough i have something bothering me... at a first glance I find the style is very close to the 6105 homage just a more round case shape ... I think if they went for a grey dial with the sunburst effect and a different bezel insert style then it would make it a close homage to the original ... That would make it more distinguished if that's make any sense... concerning the bezel action i think it's just a game of luck with steeldive .

    • @TheWatcherReviews
      @TheWatcherReviews  Před 4 lety +1

      Its very different to the 6105. I think tje thickness of the case makes it seem otherwise 🤔
      I agree with the other points, but this is their interpretation, san martin/heimdallr have done a good job getting close to the original but they are all far away from the original specs. Im working on a comparison video between the steeldive and heimdallr 62mas and then compare specs to the original.
      I agree with most of your points though bro

    • @sary171
      @sary171 Před 4 lety +1

      @@TheWatcherReviews what i meant by similar is the color of the dial and the bezel insert ... What i wish to find in a 65 mas homage is something different... something new that can grab your attention instantly and not taking time looking for that small difference ... Obviously there's less similarities with the 6105 ... And for that comparison vid i truly can't wait bro !!!

      Both the SD1962 & SD1970 are offered with different colored dials & bezels, including the massively luminous Kagawa wave dial. I thought the same as you and considered getting green, but I REALLY like the way the black dial plays with the heavy blue AR coating, evoking a sort of oil on water effect.
