    Damn it another watch to add to the list 😆😆 ... im such a Steeldive fan boy , I also buy from syeeldive UK, i remember I had to repair my bronze one fifty fathoms homage, and Matthew from steeldive paid for my repair rather then exchange which was nice of him , it was an issue with ceramic insert... im also wearing the same bronze one today 😆😆👍 good review once again

      Steeldive have certainly got a good product & value for money is outstanding. I just wish they would put a milled clasp on the bracelet to finish them off they would be very difficult to fault at all then. Yes I will certainly use steeldive UK again as opposed to Ali express.
      Thanks for watching mate. 👍

    I have a Steeldive ‘Captain Willard’. Fantastic watch.
    That one looks pretty impressive,too,but I think they could concentrate on the clasp now that they have pretty much mastered the watch part.
    Nice review.

      These are honestly great value & well put together apart from the pressed clasp but that's easy to replace. But yes well worth checking them out. Thanks for watching Mal. 👍

    Great review, I bought one of these last week and it is indeed a lot of watch for the money. Mine keeps fantastic time as automatics go, strange as it is its more accurate than Seiko autos I have owned in the past! Obviously they have calibrated this up better than Seiko do in their factory! The lume does as you say last all night, this is why I got this watch. Keep up with your fab reviews.

    • @somewhereintimewatchreviews
      @somewhereintimewatchreviews  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks Steve. Yes I agree these are a lot of watch for the money not sure if steeldive would do any calibration but the NH35A is a pretty reliable movement most of the ones that I've had are running slightly on the + side & not usually anymore than +10 spd.
      This "Sumo" has definitely impressed me & unlike most of the Chinese pieces that I've had has stayed in my collection it really is excellent, the only upgrade that I've made to it is the addition of a milled clasp.
      Thanks for watching & for your comment.👍

    Just from the intro, the case fit and finish on it is pretty fantastic! All together a very nice looking watch indeed! Looking at steel dive for sure for the upcoming 11/11 sale on Ali! Great review as always my friend!

    I really like this brand and what they offer for their pricing, never had one before and you're right never see to much about the Sumo from Steeldive

    • @somewhereintimewatchreviews

      They're definitely well made apart from that gnarly pressed clasp easily sorted for less than a fiver though.

    Great review as usual, mate. I own the cpt. Willard and an Addiesdive type A flieger (must be the same company?), and it's just ridiculous what you get for the money here. Great finishing on the case, sapphire crystal, NH35, ceramic bezel, excellent lume even at the bezel (i always think that if the hands lasts good, it's fine) etc.
    Yeah, a pressed clasp deffo feels like a minus now that we've been spoiled with milled ones from many of these Chinese brands. My beloved Seiko 5 SNZ57 of course came with a pressed clasp as well, and I just ordered a milled one from AE which fitted it perfectly (after like a month wait lol). Keep up the good work.

    • @somewhereintimewatchreviews
      @somewhereintimewatchreviews  Před 2 lety

      Yes plenty of value with both steeldive & addies & you're right the specs you get are mad & the fact that all those elements are put together so well there really isn't a reason not to have one. I also had the willard a while back it was a very good watch ended up giving it to my son & he loves it.
      Thanks for watching mate. 👍

    Lume for days and very well made as well but… why do they still persist with those knarly pressed clasps, I know you gave it a squeeze due to the rest of the watch but come on Steeldive.

    It is a fantastic watch but the size is just too much. Shame really as I've always wanted to try one. Bit bad about the clasp but like you said its an affordable fix.

    • @somewhereintimewatchreviews
      @somewhereintimewatchreviews  Před 2 lety +1

      Definitely some great specs & nicely put together but not for people with shall we say....slender wrists! They do a 39×50 pilots watch that could be more up your alley size wise if you fancied getting a Steeldive in oh & a sub they do one of those too.
      The clasp is nasty but for the £ vs what you get it's worth getting one from Ali for a couple of quid just to finish it off.
