  • Testing Pathos Sniper 125 with custom handle and 8mm shaft. Default bands not powerful enough to push the heavy 8mm shaft. Big improvement in penetration and flat shooting when using 14.5mm small ID bands. First try @ 240 fps on Hero 5

but 2 Rubber 14 mm with the 8mm shaft it's ridiculous, i have the pathos alma with 6.25 mm and i use 2 Rubber, 1 18 mm Black pathos, and 1 Red 16mm pathos, and the shot it's fast, but with too heavy shaft you can't shoot straight ahead because it's too slow.

I think what you are missing is that these are small ID bands. 2 x 14.5mm small ID bands at 380% stretch and with about 135cm of band stretch and easily push an 8mm shaft to very high velocities. In your case with a 6.25mm shaft, your best performance will come from 2 x 13.5mm or 14mm small ID bands cut @ 360%. Thick bands on a light shaft will give LESS velocity than thin small ID bands. Take a look at this test where you can see that czcams.com/video/FSK4HkkimXk/video.html

majdq8 what's the meaning of small ID? internal diameter? and what brand they are?

Small ID is just small Inside Diameter. I find this gives the best performance for whatever reason (not sure exactly why ... although I have some theories). These were Primeline small ID bands. Small ID bands @ high stretch = incredible performance ... much better than thicker regular ID bands.

majdq8 ok but do you try the sigalsub Extreme with the 1.3mm ID?

Yes of course ... Sigalsub small ID bands are made by Primeline. The batch I have is not very stretchy though. It could be that the batch was done when temperature was cold in Mexico.
