- After a 94 month hiatus, Valley Railroad's Consolidation 97 (ALCO-Brooks, 1923) returned to service on Sunday, October 28, 2018, pulling a doubleheader charter train for the Massachusetts Bay Railroad Enthusiasts. The film also has a few scenes shot on October 21.

So, you work/volunteer at the Valley Railroad I presume? If so, you may be able to answer a very old question I have. What exactly is the whistle fitted on 97? I was told it's a New Haven 6 chime, but the only place I've ever heard of one is the whistle 97 wears. Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance.

She hasn’t had time for paint yet, most likely will happen next year.
