- Lymphatic Drainage Massage plays a major role in lymphatic health. Lymphatic drainage is a massage-like technique that is used in a special sequence to move lymphatic fluid throughout the body or out of an area that is congested. Lymphatic health is essential to your immune and overall health. In this video, we go through a FULL-BODY lymphatic drainage massage routine from start to finish. This shows which direction to massage and even lymphatic drainage for the back and hips. As a certified lymphedema physical therapist (CLT-LANA), I will guide you through lymphatic drainage step-by-step.

Which course was it?
it was 2 years ago in Ashville Nc@@batmonibat
After a mastectomy 10 months ago and lymph node removal in march. I've had allsorts of problems and horrendous pain.
Nobody warned me, told me to expect it, let alone how to ease it.
Thankfully I have finally realised what it is and then found you. For the first time in months I can feel my arm and am free of pain.
Thankyou, ore than you know, thankyou x
Wow!! By far the most thorough video I have seen! Awesome job, and thank you so much for taking the time to really show us how to do it right. So glad I found you!
I'm a massage therapist and certified MLD therapist and will be doing lymphedema training later this year and I really appreciate all of your informative videos and love sharing them with our clients for homework and education, so thank you!
What you are providing on this channel is so important. Thank you for this.
Did this with you to learn and teach myself the proper movements. You’re so calm and easy to follow and understand. I learned so much about this incredible part of my body I haven’t even know about! Thank you so so much 🎉
I’m a licensed massage therapist and certified in manual lymphatic drainage. I attended the first MLD school in the US that teaches the Vodder method. They emphasized that manual lymphatic drainage is not massage. And everytime I see it in posts and videos, I educate others to clarify the differences. Lymphatic drainage is a complementary therapy. MLD can be done then followed up with massage. Massage is deeper than the superficial lymphatic layers.
So it’s better to do massage after mld?
Yea from my understanding the manual drainage could be done on anyone. Where as the massage cannot be done on people whose swelling is due to cardiovascular issues because it can cause fluid overload to the heart
Helpful video but the dry sound of rubbing is giving me the scratching fabric feeling.
My gosh! I have been so sick with covid. I’d forgotten about something I’d seen about lymphatic drainage. Found your video and did mainly the top of the body. I almost instantly felt better but have definitely woken up feeling so much better. Thank you
I totally enjoyed your demonstration of the lymphatic system drainage process. Thank you very much
Thank you this was very helpful! I've felt like my system has been clogged since I got Covid 8 months ago, but this seemed to wake everything up!
Excellent video!! Thank you!
Thank you soooo much for this ! Was looking for a full body video ❤
I love how you explain everything. U're the best Therapist l ever seen who helps lymphadema patients like me.
oh my, that is quite the compliment. I am so happy to help! thank you!
BFF 😂
Thank you! I’m feeling much better. I have limited mobility so I adjusted it a bit by using my physio gun thin to reach the hard to reach areas
Omg I actually relaxed a lot with this whole body massage! Even if it was gentle and soft! Thank you!
Thank you, really well explained, thank you I finally understand more and I am more clear about how to do it. Great self practice, I feel more alive in the all body
Thank you, this is lovely. I have been using this several times a week and it really helps with fibromyalgia symptoms. I have memorized but I still come back as it forces me to be patient with my body and not rush. I noticed that I have a tendency to sweat more as I am doing this, I figured this must be the lymph nodes speaking to me. awesome, thank you, gratitude!
I’d highly suggest taking magnesium glycinate supplements, along with D3 and K2, and then also look into wild yam cream and oil packing, specifically with castor oil. All of these things for fibromyalgia. Good luck 💜
This was so helpful! Sinus issues/allergies lead to headaches and trouble with my asthma. I was looking for additional support and this is great! Thank you!
It makes a difference. I’m hardly getting ragweed headaches this season doing all the lymph work.
Thank you so much for this video! I've been fighting a cold/sore throat the past few days. My head hurt, my throat hurt, and I had lots of mucous iny throat. My husband followed your video while massaging my lymphatic system. Half way through, I felt my throat clear and my head feels better.
Also Thank you so much yours is the most detailed video I've found to be helpful in explaining i was getting alot of different ways to do it short, long and circular strokes but yours sounds the best
I like seeing the relaxation technique. Also I was taught to always start at the neck so that was really good to see!
This made me feel sooooo good! Thank you 🥰
I cannot thank you enough for your videos. Seriously amazing
Thanks so much I learned a lot of strokes about doing lymphatic drainage massage ❤
This was very helpful. Thank you so much for sharing! Keep up the good work ♥️
Yes your the best Iv seen as someone else said your body is glowing. Do you have to do the whole body at the same time or can you do parts like just the legs and then work on another area at another time. Thanks so much for such perfect clear instructions. So appreciated.
What an amazing video! I found you as I looked for ways to break up a ganglion cyst - my doctor said to manipulate out before needing a procedure. I will definitely find a professional, but this is very helpful. If I were to dry brush, I think these movements will be much more helpful. TY
Thank you so much for your work Kelly, really appreciate the educational content!
Thank you this was extremely helpful ❤

I really dont kw my issue, slight swelling in hand palm and feet. I have started this, let me do few days and grt back here with my story. Appreciate this effort and loads of love from india.❤️
Your skin is glowing and beautiful!!
Is this from regular lymphatic drainage?
It was wonderful. Really. Thank you.
My ex boyfriend spent time in the hospital and he said they gave him lymph clearing massages every other day. So he asked if he could give me one because it will boost my immune system and it's just good for your health. He massaged me from head to toe in one direction from core to finger tips and from core to toes. He said all the bad energy and toxins have to go out through your ties and finger tips. He did the whole thing backwards! And my lymph system was stimulated alright. I got so sick!! My hands and feet swelled up from built up lymph fluid and he pushed the fluid into my feet and hand with his massage. Never get a massage from an amateur. I don't know if he did it wrong on purpose - he was evil like that - or if his hospital massages were done by incompetent nurses but I'll never get a message from anyone but a trusted professional.
Glad you are free of that one. Diabolical.
It sounds like he had good intentions but definitely did not do a service to you. If it makes you feel any better every time I have tried to move my own lymph and was certain I was doing it properly. I get an infection of sorts whether it be viral or just get sick so I don’t do it anymore, and I would be nervous to even have it done by professional because of the fact That I always get sick after the slightest movement .
Thanks so much i have learned a lot ❤
I really appreciate your video and how well you demonstrate and explain everything.
I would appreciate a handout for full body to purchase. I have lipedema and lymphedema throughout my body so I would like to purchase an all over massage information
i have send leant so much on this video clip thank you so much
Thank you so much for these videos! ❤️
You're so welcome!
Doing this has helped me feel so much better and less exhausted. I have chronic pain from fibromyalgia and constant migraines an always feel like my ears/sinus are plugged and thisisntje only thing that's helped, no pills or any other physical therapy has ever improved how I feel daily so drastically
Thank you! Does it matter if we do away or towards the heart? From this video I am thinking it’s not as important as I have always been told.
You are awesome! Thank you!
I can't like this video Enough! Thank you mam 😊
Thanks!
❤❤❤Thank you!
Thank you so much.
Unintentionally asmr is crazy❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much for this. Question, after lymph nodes have been removed from an armpit, is possible that fluid can move into the sinuses causing eye pressure? Thanks in advance : )
This is so helpful. Thank you
I am happy to hear. You're welcome! thank you for reaching out
Thank you!!
This is incredibly helpful, thank you!
You’re so welcome!
Very relaxing
this really helped ❤
Hello Kelly, I just watched the video because a friend suggested it. I am going to actually follow along tonight when I have the time. How often would you suggest someone does this per week? Understanding that you are not my doctor or therapist and I am just asking an in general question for someone that has swelling in their feet a couple times a week.
Thank you so much
Thank you 💕
Thank you!
Hello ! Thank you for this routine. Can you please share a bit on fluid retention around the ankle ❤ thank you !
How often should you perform this drainage massage?
Wonderful video. Thank you❣️

Wow!! Thank you for this video, it is helping me a lot 👍
You’re so welcome! 😊
Thank you ❤
Excellent video thank you how often can you do this?
Extremely well explained! May I ask where may I get the handouts?
Thx!!!!
In your other video you said to massage the fupa area towards the heart/belly, so upward. However in this video you stated under the illusion belly button line(halfway) massage/push downward towards the leg. Which way is the correct way for getting rid of fupa swelling/lump/etc while doing lymphatic massage?
Ok..very good.tnx..
This helped so much, thank you sweetie🙏
When do you recommend using Wood tools after a BBL surgersy?
thank you♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️.
This was amazing! Why do people think lymphatic is deep work?
Thank you for the video. Question: How often can I do this massage?
Bonjour from France.. Great video.... How many times a should one do it for optimal health.. Merci
Hi Kelly. Thank you for this wonderful lesson. Wondering what your thoughts are on “The Big 6” for lymph drainage that Dr Perry and other practitioners are promoting ?
Would love your thoughts ❤
I appreciate you and your videos.
I did the full body lymphatic massage and the next day my rt armpit is very sensitive. Does that mean anything? I suffer from Bartonella, a coinfection of Lyme disease and we are left to basically treat ourselves so I don’t have a “doctor “ to talk to. I just want to know if having a tender lymph after doing this means anything or if it means I need to do it again to help “stuff” through.
Thank you.
Is there any chance you could address arm fistula edema? We are having a difficult time trying to keep fluid down even with gentle rubbing. Of course we can’t tape the arm, but would you agree we can do the hand and around and above the elbow? This wouldn’t be so exasperating but the fluid buildup is a lot.
Kelly you are a star blessings to you and your family xxxx
Awe thank you! 😊
Love you ma’am ❤
thqank you so much!!!
Thank you!
I had been wondering which movements/directions to use while lathering soap in the shower in order to theoretically get 2 birds with 1 stone. Do you think that would work or do you need to be laying down? I found this helpful, thanks.
Thank you so much, I have hEDS and POTS so everything just builds up. How often should this be done? ❤
Thankyou
