I appreciate you showing that retaining ring installation. i didn't have it correctly. Actually, I wasn't in at all. I looked at it twice and said this wasn't correct. I put back in everything lined up perfectly. It was like the repair gods shined down on me at that point. Thank you

lol, I just picked that headlight up a couple months ago, I had hid beam which was good, but required a ton of modification.

Do I need to install resistors like for flashers or no need?
I’m struggling installing this right now. Can’t seem to get the green plug to stay in the black housing. Did it click in for you? Mine has the same little gap, but didn’t stay in.
mine 8s acting up, show brights are on 9n gauges when theyre not and the bright bulbs flicker

In theory, if the size fits, it is a matter onlybto connect the wires properly. They are all 12V dc. Check the headlight's webpage for more info. Usually they say which are the compatible models.
I have led on mine Nightster 08, but I have just bought new ones by USD 38 and 80W, let's see. Typically the other ones are 45W.
Any issues with the light since purchasing? Considering this as an option for my 2019. Need to get rid of the asap!

hmm... maybe it's a cold temperature thing. if it ever gets down to 55-60 over there, keep an eye on your headlight like right after you finish a ride

Use a shifting spinner and wedge it in there. Then turn the screw. Don’t have a kid help or you’ll come across too much like sleepy Joe Biden.

This thing is a bitch for a 22 sportster. I think Harley changed up the housing to try and get you to pay the Harley tax for the 450 dollar led.
