    Hahaha, looks like a remake of this might be in order, and include answers to all the questions you got on this one. I have been doing electrical wiring my entire life just about, and always amazes me how many people just know very little to nothing about electrical wiring. They really should include it in a ahort course in high school. Basic practical electrical circuitry for the D.I.Y. er. Those that know, should teach those that dont, like you just did here.
    Thanks for sharing !

    Dont care about negative comments on your vid., they should all be positive because you got to the point about what and where to make the connection,
    and stated several times how to make it any way you like. Just make it here.

      You're actually linking your turn signals together by tying them into the headlights amber halo like that. You would only be able to have the halo flash with either your right or left blinker, not both. The turn signal function is more for cars and trucks. If it's a motorcycle specific headlight, the amber halo will actually have two wires, each controlling one side of the halo.

    I feel so stupid I got a after market led skull headlight . No instructions the skull and halo light my 3 wires a RBG where do they go to

    • @JohnPageContraband
      @JohnPageContraband  Před rokem

      Are you sure its rgb? If it's the same headlight i'm picturing, the halo only has three colors built in. White, amber and blue. Your three wires are to power those three halo colors.

      Usually rgb headlights will be controlled by just one wire. Plug your new headlight in and touch those three wires, one at a time, to the positive prong on your plug like I do in the video to see what they each do.

    • @JohnPageContraband
      @JohnPageContraband  Před 3 lety +1

      those metal connectors are called spade connectors. google spade connector with wire and buy either the male or female spade to fit whats on the headlight.

      Not using this method. You would have to wire it to your acc fuse.

    • @JohnPageContraband
      @JohnPageContraband  Před 3 lety

      unfortunately ive seen those halo wires in a bunch of colors so you cant base the color of the halo ring on the color of the wires. if you see a white wire and a yellow one though theres a good chance the white powers the white ring and the yellow powers the yellow ring.

    How do you switch from amber to white?

    • @JohnPageContraband
      @JohnPageContraband  Před 2 lety +1

      The only way you can do that while still connecting them like this would be to tie one color halo to the high beam and the other to the low. You can also run them each to their own acc switch to have full control over them.
