I loved the banter between Markie and John, on the 1 hand he lusted for her while at the same time looking out for her. my best episode was his trying to sleep with her but he couldn't get past his respect for her, and her sexy banter with Stone that was both sexy and classy.
They needed a very hot girl to play the public DA role. Ellen Foley was too thin and to animated. Markie's wardrobe always covered her upper half with frilly lace.
Ellen Foley was pretty but didn't have that Sex appeal or hot looks like Markie. She was let go from Night Court because producers felt her relationship with Harry Anderson was more of a type like a brother and sister than as potential paramours.

I always hoped that when watching Night Court, Markie Post would show me Nothing left to my Imagination. After the show ended, my wife would tell me that she would leave nothing to my imagination.
