It doesn't matter what generation you hail from. Whenever you say the word vintage, it always means the same thing. The word vintage is synonymous with the terms old-school, retro, old-fashioned, and antique. But perhaps one of the best things about old vintage stuff is getting the opportunity to see things that you were once too young to properly enjoy.
Join Facts Verse as we take a stroll back in time while taking a look at some photos that we were probably a bit too young and naive to understand or fully appreciate when they first made the rounds. Some of these candid photos are pretty provocative, but nothing we're about to share with you constitutes material that is 'not safe for work' - but it definitely comes close.

I Dream of Jeannie was shown back in the late 1960s, not the late 1950s!
Get your facts straight, facts verse!
The show, I Dream of Jeannie originally aired for 139 episodes over five seasons, from September 18, 1965, to May 26, 1970, on NBC.
"What kind of content do you want to see on FV?"
How about factual content?
@@MichaelLivingston-me Exactly! I'm thinking, though, that it could've just been a misspeak on the part of Facts Verse. Let's hope so, anyway.
No tattoos now that's gorgeous.
Amen!
Amen!
I’m not crazy about women with tattoos.
Yep I can't stand tatoos either 👍🏽
I agree that women look better without tattoos. I don’t have tattoos on my body .
I Dream of Jeannie debuted in 1965 on TV. The first season was filmed on black and white film stock. The rest of the show was filmed in color. Sidney Sheldon got the idea from The Brass Bottle(1964)...a movie Barbara Eden worked on. Sheldon wrote the suspense novel The Naked Face.
He needs to get his "facts" in order prior to making the video.
Jeannie was created as a counter to Bewitched
Did you know that Jeannie's belly-button was never exposed? Back in those days it was not permitted to do so on American TV.
WOW! I forgot about these lovely ladies! Great photos!
You missed one of the most iconic... Farrah Fawcet wearing the red one piece bathing suit. That poster was on every kids wall, including mine.
you are so right about farrah there is also joanna cameron, bo derek ,lynda carter ,cheryl ladd just to mension a few that were missed
Yep!
All of these women and their photos are timeless.I didn't realize how beautiful Nathalie Wood was.She could rule in every/any era in my opinion.
Aubrey Plaza could easily play a Natalie Wood part. She is a spitting image of her. She is very quirky and hilarious as well.
Lies again? Vigrx Plus
Natalie Wood was and will always be the Best.
I love these old photos because I find woman are more beautiful without plastic surgeries, and it's refreshing to see
Hello again Facts Verse 👋 I think that you missed quite a few more provocative photos from the past. Thank you for another great video Tim and I hope you and your subscribers have a wonderful day. 🌤
I see your comments in a lot of "fluffee" videos..... You always say nice things to him and other people in the comment section. I also like your sense of humor in some of your comments. So I hope YOU have a wonderful day too.👍
@@kevindupre4014 thank you so much for your reply. I hope you have a wonderful day as well. ☺️
I can never stop taking my eyes off of Natalie Wood when she is on screen. A true natural beauty of any era
Thanks for watching!
No doubt Wood, helped make "wood".😂
She was great in this property is condemned
I will attest that the 80s were the greatest decade of the last fifty years. As such, I feel this video should have had a provocative photo of Phoebe Cates. She was and is gorgeous.
1980s was the best decade for movies music & tv. Phoebe Cates in the red bikini was a defineing moment for hot 80s chicks
Thank You for the video! All of these women are beautiful no matter what their age!
Goldie Hawn made quite an impression on young me in Butterflies Are Free !
I saw Natalie Wood on the MGM lot a week or so before she died. She was far more striking in person than she was on film. Absolutely gorgeous!
Did you have a chance to talk to her? Great experience, thanks for sharing! 😱
It's always difficult to select the most beautiful woman/women in the world. But I must say Raquel Welch is my favorite. Pam Grier is a close 2nd. But Bo Derek has definitely grown on me. And I can never forget about the absolutely stunning Sophia Loren.
you and me think alike, wow, but my Raquel, will always be my #1
Sofia Loren for me ,then Raquel Welsh, I did envy Jim Brown in the scene with her in 100 Rifles,
I remember Goldie Hahn starting out as a go-go dancer on the tv show Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In. It was quite progressive for its time in the 60's
Thanks for watching!
next up in the que "love american style" memory lane
@@keithfarrington8179 😆 🤣 😂
Yup.
Nixon doing 'sock it to me'
Enjoyed a walk down memory lane. Thank you
Thanks for watching!
A couple of corrections:
1. The pic of Barbara Eden is from 1965 or so. That’s when the series “I Dream of Jeannie” debuted, not 1959.
2. The shot of Natalie Wood in a bikini was taken in the late ’60s, probably 1969, about the same time as the premiere of the movie “Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice.” It was not a circa 1950s photo as the video alleges.
Yes - 1965 was the first season of; "I Dream of Jeannie" - and it ran until 1970. And the first season was the only one filmed in black & white ( its been colorized since then ) - and her costume was different in that first season (or at least in the earliest episodes ) - mainly in that her top was less revealing than it would eventually become.
The name of the channel is just misspelled, it should be “Facts Averse”, lol
Very Nice Photos
Thanks for watching! We're glad to know that you love our video. If we may ask, which one did you like the most?
Ah Raquel!!!! The woman who reminded me that I’ve grown up. A Timeless Beauty!!!
There all way to beautiful to pick just one! Totally iconic!
You ought to research your material better. For instance, you claim that "I Dream of Jeannie" aired "in the late 1950s." That show actually first aired in September 1965. No subscription from me.
That's funny I made almost exactly the same comment and that I started scrolling down afterwards to see what everybody else said
Plus the poolside pic of Natalie Wood was 1960’s not 1950’s. I won’t subscribe to this one either.
Poor research. I Dream of Jeannie was not in the 50s. I watched it live in 1965. Bye

Awesome thanks 👍
Yes, it was ahead of its time but risqué too. A lot of beautiful actresses throughout history graced our lives with beauty, grace and sexuality. A boy’s dream is having a pin up on their wall in a form of poster, calendar, other forms of displaying. I got to over time appreciate how beautiful women are and how talented, intelligence they are too. Handsome men also grace the path the same way too. Thanks Actresses and Actor for putting the WOW factor in our lives. Good historical video of beautifulness!
Wonderful wonderful memories of when I was young
Nice srlee Ed cation!🔥🔥🎊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I remember that scene in Brady Bunch. And Ireland's magazine picture.
Linda Ronstadt attire on that album cover was completely normal for the era. Girls used to wear halter tops and go without “support” all the time!
They burned all their bras so had none to wear anyways.
Great Pictures! May not suitable for children but great for me. Awesome Video!
The first episode of I Dream of Jeannie was aired Sept 18, 1965. Where did your reference to 1959 come from?
No Farrah Fawcett and the largest selling poster of all time?
™️
These young guys compiling these videos don't know crap; and they don't do lots of studying and prep for their stuff, either. Just pump 'em out- who cares if they're accurate or not? They have risqué pictures in them .
Glad he got the names right, though.
yeah exactly she was only the most popular woman in the 70s thats all wth how could farrah be forgotten
yep, she was the first
@@barbarahecht4617 Exactly, most of the people who make these videos didn't live in the times they talk about.
Cool pictures.
The first "modern" supermodels were the 60s trio of Twiggy, Penelope Tree and most iconic of all, Jean Shrimpton..
Penelope Tree ? had to look her up, another member of the arboreals ...
Glad to see you included Natalie Wood. I fell in love with her after seeing her performance in Gypsy. I also think you could have included the likes of Nicole Kidman and Olivia Newton-John - sizzling hot in those final scenes of 'Grease'.
my gosh..I suddenly realized my age 😁 those days were the best.
Dick Cavett has interviewed EVERYONE of any value...and the dude is still with us. There needs to be more about him whilst he's still with us.
Amazing
Beautiful
This was great, thanks. Some might argue that Margaux Hemingway was America's 1st Super Model.🙂
Thanks for watching! We're so glad you enjoyed this video. What other types of videos would you like to see?
Even though I was 11 when Natalie Wood died, she was a stunner. Another actress who was in that same league was Phoebe Cates.
Interesting pictures..
Ty for the great vid. Sub'd, peace out..:)
What a lovely collection of women from the past, & yes l fully agree with the previous comment about nice that there was no tattoos!

Photos bring back early teenage yrs for me. Love them.

I love the video
I'm a little older than you and, I can assure you, we were never so deprived as to consider Susan Sarandon as one of the most beautiful women in the world. She WAS considered to have the most beautiful breasts around the time of The Hunger and Atlantic City. No small feat in itself.
The I dream of Jeannie sitcom ran from 1965-1970.. not 1959 🤔
"Facts Verse" - a bored voice over video editor that could care less about the "facts" - or the fact that the photo of Natalie Wood in a bikini was from the 1969 movie Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice - NOT circa 1950's - loser.
Bettie Page may not have been a runway model, but she was certainly one of america's top models.
Raquel Welch. WOW, what a beauty she was. I had a full-sized poster of her on my bedroom closet door in the very early 70s growing up.
You're not the only one lol! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Which of Raquel's films appealed to you the most?
@@FactsVerse My favorite was Fantastic Voyage. I loved that movie when I was young. My other favorite was One Million Years B.C. Although I didn't remember much of what that one was about. 😍
Susan Sarandon always filled out a sweater beautifully
I find it amazing, how and when people believe someone or an image is viewed and remarked upon.
Nice.
Met Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn at the Aspen airshow in 1992, both very nice, have the photos to prove it!
What? Farrah didn't make the list? Boo
I dream of Jeannie was not in the 50s 😰😱 rather the 60s
Note: "I Dream of Jeannie" was on the air from September 18, 1965 -
May 26, 1970.

I like Christy Brinkley for "THE Supermodel"
Still a beauty all these years later.
Yaas , the Goldie Hawn factor . THE VERY CATALYST that grew my great strength in my right arm .
Enjoyed this. Only problem was misquoting a few dates.
"I Dream of Jeannie" originally aired from September 18, 1965 to May 26, 1970. It wasn't around in 1959 to the best of my knowledge.
I think the 90,s was a great time to grow up for me it was 😊👍
Oh trust me it was the music: Hasten Down the Wind was written by the rock star's rock star Warren Zevon...but the nightgown didn't hurt..
Cathy Ireland has the loveliest rib cage I ever saw in all my born days!!!
Brought to you by KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce. Who looks at their rib cage ?
I do . And I betcha that Cathy drives her old man crazy when she strokes her own rib cage . Barbara Eden couldn't show us her naval on that tv show , but nobody stopped her from flashing us with her lovely rib cage .
Greg wasn’t really Marcia’s “adopted brother”…..he was her step brother
Her drug dealer must have had a good laugh watching the show.
I popped that for a couple lines of coke.
Beauty is beauty. It is very hard to compare, what’s THE MOST BEAUTIFUL to one might not be for another. Personality is a strong determining factor in some or most cases.
5:15 Goldie Hawn first got noticed by her "easy girl, dumb blonde" character in "Rowan and Martin's Laugh In" TV comedy in the late 60s.
Yep, I had the Kathy Ireland poster. I'm surprised Jessica Alba didn't make the roster. I think she's gorgeous.
Those photos showed the beauty, art, sexiness of each of the decades of beautiful women. Models or legendary actresses.
Thanks for watching!
Raquel Welch and Goldie Hawn. The most beautiful.
Growing up when I was young, I had a crush on Bo Derek, I can’t believe that you didn’t have any pictures of her.
Exactly, hows it possible to not have her famous dreds in this list ?cmon man.😢
Can't believe you didn't include he poster of Farrah Faucett Majors that was on everyone's wall .
I was hoping for more pictures.
Ahh, that last “Baywatch Babe?” I went to dinner with her once. She fed me orange roughy off her plate…AND I HATE SEAFOOD. But those were best 2 bites of food I’ve ever had!
Thanks for watching!
Where's Farrah Fawcett's picture? The one in the red bathing suit was iconic
The iconic photo I remember of Cheryl Tiegs was of her in a see through knit swimsuit.
Yep, Kathy Ireland was it. She was the youngest model to make the cover of SI and eventually held the record for SI covers.
Did you even include the girl from your thumbnail in the video?
My earliest memory of the lovely Susan Sarandon was in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"
Her role as Janet was introduced as the better half of "Sam & Janet Evening" ... a nice play on an old song title.
Love and agree with all of it. Goldie helped me through a jail term.
Thanks for watching!
Nice
Thanks for watching! We're so glad you enjoyed this video. What other types of videos would you like to see?
Rachel Welch in fur bikini, Farrah Faucett in red swimsuit, Tanya Tucker in leather with microphone, Sean Connery in swim trunks,Tab Hunter in swim trunks, the construction worker with a coke. Two of my favorites…Mamoa in Aquaman and Mirren as Morgana.
"if you're enjoying this video so far".......... FFS - somebody wake me up !! I nodded off there 😆😆😆
Linda Ronstadt was my first celebrity crush at age 12. Forever will I adore black hair and big brown eyes.
Brigitte Bardot - wow, Maureen McCormick - childhood crush - so was Penny on Lost in Space.
Jamie Lee Curtis was walking around with that bod?! Crazy.
Goldie Haven caught the public eye as a goofy blonde on Laugh-In which then led her to movies.
Definitely Cathy Ireland, I know you can't mention them all but Lynda Carter Adrienne Barbeau, Sybil Dannig, Victoria Principal, Sally Fields, Bobbi brown- cherry 🍒 pie video.
Sybil Danning
YES, YES, YES!!
Dear ,Sweet Sybil .
Beauty has no Boundaries. 😍😘😘😘
Thanks for watching!
First of all Barbara Eden played Jeannie on "I Dream Of Jeannie" in the late 1960s, it was not the late 1950s!!!
Secondly I had a crush on Catherine Bach when she played Daisy Duke on "The Dukes Of Hazzard" and this photo of an extremely low opening front top was one that I have only seen a couple times.
The show ran from '65 to '70.
@@miner81 Yes I know that "I Dream Of Jeannie" ran from 1965 to 1970, so that is why I have said that it was on in the late 1960s because that was the part of the decade that it was on TV originally. I am not going to repeat myself one more time!
@@wallacelang1374 someone needs their bottle.
@@miner81 I originally merely pointed out that the narration picked the wrong decade for the "I Dream Of Jeannie", he said that it was in the 1950s when he should have said was the 1960s. Was your reference to a bottle that of Jeannie's genie bottle?
@@wallacelang1374 The show started in 1965 , not 1959 nor the late sixties
love the old clothes wish they still had bell bottoms
Love all ❤
Helllooo Facts Verse :)
Much more tame than I was expecting... or hoping.
The Italian Job was a 60's movie. And on one of 60's albums John Lennon was naked. West wasn't the first guy to play Batman. It was slightly before my time but the most radical decade was the 50's that's when things really changed. They were way before my time but Ingrid Bergman, Rita Haworth and Ava Gardner were absolutely stunning. I feel my choices are hopefully less subjective regarding my own time period.
Thanks for watching!
John Lennon and Yoko Ono naked on an album cover was ugly. Puke 🤢🤮vomit. That's my warning to you, there is nothing beautiful looking about those two.
@@ralphgarcia913 That wasn't my point. So your aesthetic opinion is superfluous. And ''warning'' just what are you warning me about?
@@2011littlejohn1 my warning to you is John Lennon and Yoko Ono are so ugly that they will induce 🤢vomiting. There's an old saying in America about seeing something super ugly, once you do, " you can't unsee it." Just a warning, the naked photo of John and Yoko on the Album cover of "Two virgins" is so ugly you'll wish you had never seen it at all."
I remember many of these, but I noted a couple of times your dates were incorrect. Example: I Dream of Jeannie was in the 1960s not late 1950s. I remember my mother concerned about my sister and me watching that program. It was ok once she starrted watching it and enjoyed the photo pllot. Good for me - right? Yet, with all these photos who cares.
Interestingly, they call the you tube channel facts verse.. when they are actually not the slightest bit interested in the facts.
Perhaps they should rename the channel Facts Reversed 🤔
Cavett was thinking with the little head that night !
Can’t believe Bo Derek wasn’t on the list in movie 10
exactly man she should be there
Goldie Hawn got her start on the TV show Rowan & Martin Laugh In
At 75 I was not too young for any of this stuff.
If you should miss youth in your young time, have it when you're old 😁
