    It doesn't matter what generation you hail from. Whenever you say the word vintage, it always means the same thing. The word vintage is synonymous with the terms old-school, retro, old-fashioned, and antique. But perhaps one of the best things about old vintage stuff is getting the opportunity to see things that you were once too young to properly enjoy.
    Join Facts Verse as we take a stroll back in time while taking a look at some photos that we were probably a bit too young and naive to understand or fully appreciate when they first made the rounds. Some of these candid photos are pretty provocative, but nothing we're about to share with you constitutes material that is 'not safe for work' - but it definitely comes close.

    I Dream of Jeannie debuted in 1965 on TV. The first season was filmed on black and white film stock. The rest of the show was filmed in color. Sidney Sheldon got the idea from The Brass Bottle(1964)...a movie Barbara Eden worked on. Sheldon wrote the suspense novel The Naked Face.

    A couple of corrections:
    1. The pic of Barbara Eden is from 1965 or so. That’s when the series “I Dream of Jeannie” debuted, not 1959.
    2. The shot of Natalie Wood in a bikini was taken in the late ’60s, probably 1969, about the same time as the premiere of the movie “Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice.” It was not a circa 1950s photo as the video alleges.

    • @billyz5088
      @billyz5088 Před 2 lety +3

      Yes - 1965 was the first season of; "I Dream of Jeannie" - and it ran until 1970. And the first season was the only one filmed in black & white ( its been colorized since then ) - and her costume was different in that first season (or at least in the earliest episodes ) - mainly in that her top was less revealing than it would eventually become.

A boy’s dream is having a pin up on their wall in a form of poster, calendar, other forms of displaying. I got to over time appreciate how beautiful women are and how talented, intelligence they are too. Handsome men also grace the path the same way too. Thanks Actresses and Actor for putting the WOW factor in our lives. Good historical video of beautifulness!

    The Italian Job was a 60's movie. And on one of 60's albums John Lennon was naked. West wasn't the first guy to play Batman. It was slightly before my time but the most radical decade was the 50's that's when things really changed. They were way before my time but Ingrid Bergman, Rita Haworth and Ava Gardner were absolutely stunning. I feel my choices are hopefully less subjective regarding my own time period.

I remember my mother concerned about my sister and me watching that program. It was ok once she starrted watching it and enjoyed the photo pllot. Good for me - right? Yet, with all these photos who cares.
