I found out at age 27 that my deceased mother lied to my dad and passed me off as his offspring. DNA later confirmed the birth father my sister had told me about. I have felt somewhat weird about myself ever since finding out. I met my birth father who was retired and accepting of the situation and had a relationship with him before he passed. I am the result of a five year long ongoing affair between two people who were both very good looking but not very responsible. I admire the honesty with which Clapton dealt with the situation. No one should grow up in a web of lies.

Actually Clark Gable did know about his daughter that he shared with Loretta Young. I watched a documentary with the daughter who stated that he used to come and visit with her but at that time she did not know that he was her father……she thought of him as an Uncle.😮😮😮😮😮

I was also surprised at Steven Tyler because of the the past situation where he got an underage girl pregnant , made her get an abortion.. he was not punished in anyway for what he did. The biggest surprise fo me was his marriage to Carolyn Dennis. I was staying in Woodstock off and on around the time Bob Dylan was living there with his wife Sara Lownds and their children. Even though I traveled in music circles, nothing was ever said about a previous marriage or a daughter by that marriage. So this came as a surprise. Carolyn was a singer performer and Bob is an incredible talent. I'm surprised his daughter didn't become famous in her own right as a musician.

I am the illicit love child of a character actor who died almost ten years ago. I'm now 64. I found out when I was 31, and tried to contact him a few times over the years, as did a helpful friend, but once i saw that didn't work, I made the mistake of giving up, when I could have gone through other avenues that likely would have worked, but would have involved several other people (trying to contact some of his other children), so I don't really blame him for not getting back to me. I'm thinking now of contacting a couple of his ten kids (they're all younger than me) to hopefully try to get to know them... I just have to go on one of the DNA sites and prove I'm his daughter.

Nicolson may not be a very nice person, and that is too bad, but he is absolutely one of the most fantastic actors in the last 200 years. Maybe his children can rise above their father.

Well so far he's pronounced everybody's name correct. Most of them will screw up at least once or twice on obvious names are words. There was one I watched where there were so many mistakes in the pronunciation of the main subjects name that I had to turn it off because it drove me nuts.
