Couple the Jaw crusher to a Terex Pegson 4242SR Impactor. Can screen out the fines, produces whatever blend you want, or turn the recirculation conveyor out, produce 3/4 blend, fines, and clean 2-3"+ depending what you have the hammer bar clearance set at. Used to run a HA400S that fed a 4242SR to a 75 ft radial stacker. Could produce tons of material daily with minimal clean up.
@@charleselliott8522 The issue would be cost. Impactors need a lot of maintenance, and expensive maintenance, when they are not run in an optimal way. I think if he just rented a tracked screen plant, he would be miles ahead. He could re run his oversize through the jaw after closing it down and save a ton of money.
@@PCMenten His current crusher only has a vibrating grizzly feeder. You could direct the fines that fall through the grizzly fingers away from the main belt if you wanted, but with only grizzly fingers, you'd never get consistent material sizing. They are only meant to remove a bunch of the fines to save wear and improve throughput at the jaw.
That screening bucket looks very expensive, very heavy and quite inefficient. Why do so many big chunks fall out on the first rotation? That seems wrong. Of course, beside that I loved the video and appreciate the effort you make to share your exciting life with us, as always. Cheers from Germany.
with your quarry, you could make a set off vibrating grizzly screens and slides or belts to grade your mound of gravel. then use the bucket for the last level. you could even have the first screen feed the crusher for oversized chunks.

Just seems like a regular shaker deck would still be far more efficient. Of course who would know that until you tried it? Good for small jobs I suppose but I can't imagine sitting there for hours spinning that thing and still picking rocks out. Great vid Andrew.

This thing looks pretty neat, and I love how easy it is to swap screens on it, but it doesn't seem to function very well, what with the first couple of spins dumping unscreened material out the front like that. The sideways spinning screening buckets work better in that regard, but on the other hand they are a lot more fragile since the underside of them is screen and not hard steel. Very easy to bump the screen up against a big rock while taking a scoop and ruining it. I dunno, maybe this take on it would work better with some practice, and some technique to it. Maybe spin the bucket onto its back and rock it back and forth for a bit before giving it the full rolling treatment? Just spitballing here. I see potential overall. Also, loving the quick output of videos recently. Lots of fun stuff to see. Keep it up!
I predict he's going to very quickly tire of how slow this thing is, and replace it with one of those huge screens with the drum you load with the big rock truck. He'd be there for months screening that pile one tiny scoop at a time
you need to mount a trickle charge solar panel on each vehicle so your batteries always keep a charge. $12 / battery is good insurance. just stick the panel on the roof, or wall and hard wire them.
Seems to work alright , but I am scared what it cost versus how many yards per hour it can reasonably process . Seems better suited for screening sand or loam soil with a few rocks . Clay is always a PIA to screen . Bet Andrew could have built a simple grizzly screen for a lot less , with scrap steel , and screen the fines out the bigger rocks as fast as he could sling it with the big bucket . And he wouldn't have to use super heavy gauge steel , as long as he isn't throwing boulders on it , lol .

On a more serious note. When the "decision" is made - please have a vet come around too the home, instead of taking her too the vet for the last shot.
I think what would help is on your shaker deck on the crusher just before the rocks dump in the crusher you may need to block off the section where the small rocks dump. While watching you video on crushing the other day a lot of the bigger rocks where dropping in there sideways. I think if you block that off completely then ALL the rocks will be all one size. It was just a thought I had and just thought you would like to know. Keep up the great videos they're very entertaining. Butch from Florida.
The vibrating grizzly feeder is there to try and pull away as much of the fines as possible to lessen wear and increase throughput at the jaw. Blocking it off would only cause the whole operation to slow down. The biggest issue is the type of rock he's running. Since it is so flat, it tends to pass through the jaw sideways, and not get crushed up. What would really help would be a screen after the jaw, to separate the material so he close adjust the closed side setting smaller, and re run the oversize from the screen.
On Mammoth mountain life channel, they were doing a project to build up a dirt pad for new building and they built/welded a custom screener to get the rocks out of the dirt . You would just dump the dirt on the large screen and let it filter the rocks out . There is a pic of it in his latest shorts video.
I was thinking the same. Typical overengineered overpriced gadget that works worse than the existing solution. Probably why I can't find much on them outside of their own promotion even though they've been available for years. It just doesn't seem to work very good and still dumps rocks on the first couple spins defeating the purpose to begin with. Not to mention the time wasted digging, shifting to get it inside, spin a couple times when you're still dropping rocks, then spinning it, then dumping the rocks. Then add on the time to disconnect your other implement, hook this up, and then change them back. With a shaker you can just continually feed it and while it's shaking grab another scoop. Small jobs maybe but it just seems like it would take a while to pay itself off. Hope Andrew got a deal on it for featuring it.
@@zodwraith5745 a Shaker Deck could be added to the Rock Crusher's out feed to separate rock size into two different piles. Would be a perfect solution for him around road building and water management. He could also have a return belt feeding larger items back through the crusher for another chance at the jaws of the crusher. Of course it's easy to point out these things when it's someone else's money. We watch his videos for the entertainment value more than anything, but I'll NEVER buy that bucket trunnel. I want to say he had a smaller one for his skid steer a couple of years back and it didn't work well either
Not a bad piece of equipment, it certainly cleans the dust out of the bigger stuff but if you were looking to get the big out of the smaller you would struggle , great video as always
I think you would like the Rotastar screening bucket! We have been running our small RS2-4 Rotastar on our Kubota KX033 since early last year and it works extremely well. Much better than the how the Flip Screen looks to run. The dealer A&D Equipment in CT can get one set up for you to fit any of your excavators, even the skid steers if you would like to run in on them! We are local to you in NY and absolutely love the bucket, and your videos!
Andrew, have you tried the drum style screeners that spin like a washing machine? No special tools or binders needed. They work well at keeping everything inside the drum except for what is supposed to be screened.
I really like how you took the time to make hammer jigs to keep them upright and then you just leave them laying in the dirt 🤣. Andrew, you're as funny as they come, Every video has comedic content. One of my fave things to watch you do is fit new stereo units in your truck.
Definitely needs to be Pac-Man painted. Andrew could make a better sifter out of an old cement mixer. Just cut sections out of the drum bolt on the proper size screen rotate then attach a crane and shake out the rocks 😊
I simply cannot believe the patience you have, Just a small fyi , i worked out west in the oil field and they had quick connectors hooked up to the water lines on all the heavey equipment to the pick up truck in freezing cold hooked into pick up and sit in the warm till the hot water circulated thru the dozers or what not and when it was warm varoom started right up warm engine
Wow, so much content in a few days. It already feels like Christmas 😊👍 Aside from your experience with that smaller version, is there a specific reason why you went with that rotating screening bucket style and not screening axels ?
They've got an attachment for just about every purpose, it seems! I've never seen a flip screen before seeing this video. It sure does make an excavator more versatile.
Andrew seems like a great guy , hardworking and a genuinely kind person. If I lived nearby and knew him I'd help him out any way I could if he asked with the possible exception of lending him my pickup truck . LOL
I'm surprised you haven't invested in a trommel yet andrew it would be a great addition to the fleet and you could combine it with your crusher so the belt feeds the trommel then you grade as you crush
Im wondering with that much material to sift through, maybe a larger scale sifter might tackle the job for faster and you can manually load the larger modle? But im sure there are good reasoning behind your decision ✌️
I already see Andrew browsing the market for a real screener to match his crusher. This bucket screener seems to be another company testing their product with the 'camarata limit' 😂😅
Hey dar Camaratski, Looks like ya found yer self a nodder low boy driver. The brake line crushing scenes from the last video were gold. Seriously, what was the transpo cost of the excavator & how many miles was the transport? Is it a simple quote of tonnage X miles? Also seriously, always cool to see your Father helping out.
Hoping Blue is fully recovered, I hate to see their suffering. My Lab Sam (d. 2014) grabbed a hooked fish and suffered the result. He had to be knocked out completely by a vet to have the hook removed, cos he was ready & willing to munch anyone who tried to do the job with headlock and pliers!

Andrew. I’ve been following you forever. Love your videos. But that screener attachment has to be one of the most useless bits of equipment I’ve seen? What is it achieving?
I think with that much material you'd be better served buying or setting up something a bit more industrious. Like a cyclinder screen that rolls that have a vibrating hopper similar to the way you use the rock crusher, except you'd have one belt for dirt/dust output and another for the larger stuff. I believe they're called Trommel Screens like the 612T I know you'd probably sit there all day and do that, and I'm right there with you on that. But I believe better options are there or can be made. When I'm watching your videos I'm think that you're eventually going to end up own your own aggregate yard and rock quarry lol.

Blocking it off would only cause the whole operation to slow down. The biggest issue is the type of rock he's running. Since it is so flat, it tends to pass through the jaw sideways, and not get crushed up. What would really help would be a screen after the jaw, to separate the material so he close adjust the closed side setting smaller, and re run the oversize from the screen.
great video as always
On Mammoth mountain life channel, they were doing a project to build up a dirt pad for new building and they built/welded a custom screener to get the rocks out of the dirt . You would just dump the dirt on the large screen and let it filter the rocks out . There is a pic of it in his latest shorts video.
Awesome. I wondered what happened to that hyundai excavator.
The plane you saw looked like a C5 Galaxy . Steward air base has an army national guard wing that flies C5's out of there.🍻
Always love the videos....thanks for sharing
I hadn't seen a screener like that before, only your video for the skidsteer. Very Cool stuff here!!
I think a Shaker Deck would be faster, cheaper and just be more effective if not cheaper in the long run
Or just a static grizzly even .
I would think that a regular shaker screen would do more, faster. I guess it depends on the cost of that big gizmo.
Been thinking the same thing for the last 40 mins. Or another rock crusher that makes them smaller.
Glad too see he owns more than just pipe wrenches and Adjustable wrenches ! Wow A tool set with sockets and ratchets !
interesting screener! I bet you're happy to get the Hyundai up on the mountain! I really like that hammer! That thing's a Beast!
Nice to see your dad out with you!
Perfect tool, to pick up potatoes and carrots. To loosen up the clay, mix it with sand.
Not a bad piece of equipment, it certainly cleans the dust out of the bigger stuff but if you were looking to get the big out of the smaller you would struggle , great video as always
Looks like it will do for what you need it too. Great video Andrew.!!!!
They do look pretty cool, how long does the plastic teeth last for?
@@truckguy6.7 they don’t seem to be wearing at all on mine. Topsoil only though.
Andrew, have you tried the drum style screeners that spin like a washing machine? No special tools or binders needed. They work well at keeping everything inside the drum except for what is supposed to be screened.
Trommel
Similar but no. A rotary screening bucket attachment that digs and screens. Trommels only do screening.@@loveistheanswer8137
Andrew has been on a roll lately and that means more screen time for all of us.
I really like how you took the time to make hammer jigs to keep them upright and then you just leave them laying in the dirt 🤣.
Andrew, you're as funny as they come, Every video has comedic content. One of my fave things to watch you do is fit new stereo units in your truck.
I love the I DONT THINK I CAN PUT THAT THERE! Andrew is growing up lol!
So focused on whether they could create this attachment, they never wondered whether they should. Looks like an attachment built for CZcamsrs 😆
Yeah a simple grizzly would be faster.
Definitely needs to be Pac-Man painted. Andrew could make a better sifter out of an old cement mixer. Just cut sections out of the drum bolt on the proper size screen rotate then attach a crane and shake out the rocks 😊
Yes, classic POS.
I simply cannot believe the patience you have,
Just a small fyi , i worked out west in the oil field and they had quick connectors hooked up to the water lines on all the heavey equipment to the pick up truck in freezing cold hooked into pick up and sit in the warm till the hot water circulated thru the dozers or what not and when it was warm varoom started right up warm engine
glad to see your dad in these videos, im sure he enjoys getting out with his son
Wow, so much content in a few days. It already feels like Christmas 😊👍
Aside from your experience with that smaller version,
is there a specific reason why you went with that rotating screening bucket style and not screening axels ?
probably means it's been raining or snowing at his place and he's been in editing instead lol
LOL
you might change your mind if you need a new stereo....Andrew certainly has install experiece with that !!
Funny man!
NICE VIDEO ANDREW SIR. THANK YOU FOR MAKE MY DAY EASYER !!!!! A DUTCH 65 YOUNG GUY .....
We need an equipment update soon lol I’m dying to know how many total vehicles you own now Andrew
I'm surprised you haven't invested in a trommel yet andrew it would be a great addition to the fleet and you could combine it with your crusher so the belt feeds the trommel then you grade as you crush
Awesome as Always...really loved this one
Im wondering with that much material to sift through, maybe a larger scale sifter might tackle the job for faster and you can manually load the larger modle? But im sure there are good reasoning behind your decision ✌️
I already see Andrew browsing the market for a real screener to match his crusher. This bucket screener seems to be another company testing their product with the 'camarata limit' 😂😅
Early Christmas!!!!? What did we do to deserve this Andrew? So many uploads so few days 🎉
Nice seeing your old man hanging out with you. Hope you guys have a good Thanksgiving. I'll try to give you a ring.
Poor Lacey. Old girl is still hanging in there. 💛🐶
Very amazing work I really appreciate the efforts you did 💯
Андрей, как всегда показал что он сам развевается, развивает свой парк техники и оборудования и развивает свой канал и творчество. нет ничего лишнего, все по делу.
Hey Andrew my son and I watch all your videos. He sent you a letter like a year ago, is there any chance you ever write back to fans?
Andrew! Buy yourself a set of open-end wrenches!!!
Indeed, that adjustable mangles everything.
Andrew, it so awesome that you work with your dad, keeping him active ❤❤so glad BLU is ok, I think he learned his lesson this time 😮😢😊
Love your videos, watching from Arkansas!
You must carry a jumper pack like a briefcase going to work every day every time.
Poor Blue. That was painful watching him in pain. Andrew's a good dad.
That's not Blue. That's Lacy. Blue's the brown dog. The other Cody.
@@rjb6327 Did you miss the part where Blue got in a fight with a porcupine? That's what the op is referring to.
Yup You're right. @@GuessWho-uc5uq
Did a good job I use it as a mixer add it with sandy soils for your bed level.worked wellmindo think you might need to build a solar charging station out at that other area with a building to plug in the equipment to keep them up you have the sunshine and some storage boxes stacked up make a one tale big building to put all in ang solar to keep charged
Camarata: They don't make trucks like they used to.
Also Camarata: 0:26
😂🤣
Andrew. I’ve been following you forever. Love your videos. But that screener attachment has to be one of the most useless bits of equipment I’ve seen? What is it achieving?
É Brasil com Camarata! 🇧🇷
Another new toy to add to your collection. Right on sir!👍
I think with that much material you'd be better served buying or setting up something a bit more industrious. Like a cyclinder screen that rolls that have a vibrating hopper similar to the way you use the rock crusher, except you'd have one belt for dirt/dust output and another for the larger stuff. I believe they're called Trommel Screens like the 612T
I know you'd probably sit there all day and do that, and I'm right there with you on that. But I believe better options are there or can be made. When I'm watching your videos I'm think that you're eventually going to end up own your own aggregate yard and rock quarry lol.
Um abraço do Brasil,a escavadeira mais legal de todas!👏👏😃👍
