- I went to Iceland in February last year. Come along with me for six snowy days enjoying geothermal hot water at Hvammsvik, the Sky Lagoon and the Blue Lagoon, and exhibitions in and around Reykjavik, including Perlan, the City Museum at Aðalstræti, Aurora Reykjavik, Whales of Iceland, Saga Museum, Lava Show and FlyOver Iceland.

This is a dumb question, but we are visiting Iceland in September. I would love to film when we are in the geothermal pools and Hvammsvik. What do you use and how do you protect it from the water? Thanks
I have a GoPro Hero 8 Black, which is waterproof (rinse off any minerals in clean water when you leave). Phones are great too - If yours isn't waterproof, you can take it in a waterproof case - most of the pools sell them at reception and the Blue Lagoon & Forest Lagoons definitely have them at the in-water bars too, although a warning that some of them are single-use and you'll need to literally cut your phone out afterwards.
Some people were taking clearly non-waterproof phones in the water in Ikea sandwich bags and one person had theirs wrapped in a towel which they held above their head!
