Did you bolt down all the extruded aluminum to the bed of the truck or is it just sitting there?

Yo Ngoc... Newport i think makes a propane fireplace for toppers, i know they do it for the Alu-cab camper. No condensation brother! That way you can just rock gas a propane, no need to bring diesel.

What a GREAT build! What company did you use to purchase the 80/20 and have them cut it for you? And did you use a CAD program to create your design? Looking to do something like this with my Tacoma. Thanks Ngoc! Just love your build!!!
Great vid and rig. I noticed the Drifter does not come with T tracks along the outer edges. Is that something you wish you had? I am also looking at the Super Pacific and GFC V2, if you happen to have any word on those as well. Thank you brother.
Do you mean L tracks? They don’t come with it by default but you can add it on as an option or install it yourself once you have it.

I'm glad you have a Drifter and love it but I ordered a Drifter from Vagabond Outdoors over 34 months ago, paid over $11,000 for it, and still have not received it. To make things worse, Vagabond Outdoors will not respond to emails or answer their phone. Vagabond Outdoors appears to have stopped production and stopped all communication with their customers.
Any luck? What build number are you?
@@jonnytacooutdoors I got a couple emails from Vagabond explaining the situation. Looks like my Drifter is built and is sitting in their shop with several others waiting for the tent. I'm #183.
@@JohnCarruthers waiting for the tent? What’s the hold up with the tent? That’s crazy!! I’m about to buy build spot #251 he’s told me it’ll be ready at the end of the year or early next year. Will I have the same issue not being able to get the tent?????? Geeeeeeez
@@jonnytacooutdoors In May, Phil from Vagabond told me it was a "definite June completion." That didn't happen. Today it's the tents. Who knows what it will be next. I have hopes they get things sorted out and can start getting things built, but that's not what's happening now.

Love it but it has two too many wheels.
I’m so confused aren’t TRD Off roads not actually a 4x4. But I’ve seen separate Tacoma’s with TRD off-road 4x4 actually listed on the truck. Someone please clear this up for me.
They come in both options. TRD Off Roads come in either 4x4 or 4x2. It's 4x2 if it says prerunner on the back
