Yes you’re missing everything 😁, do we expect the things bad actors are doing to be in the news. Dig deeper and you will find. Furthermore, someone doesn’t need to own a newspaper or channel to have influence, do they? I’ve always wandered why rich, Arab billionaires would be interested in football as a business cos for most teams it’s an awful business model, but a great way to move money around in huge transfer fees etc, hidden bonuses and sponsorships, think about it.
This Telegraph ownership has been the case for close to a year now Mark. Sheikh Mansour (who not only has links to Abu Dhabi, but quite literally also owns Man City) is the one who saved the Barclay brothers. The UK government is now blocking them from a full out takeover, but the damage has already been done
What surprises me is that since the FA -found- discovered Man. City's 115 _"deliberately hidden from view financial discrepancies",_ nothing yet has happened. Are they scared of rocking the boat and seeing Man. City take their billions into a European League? _On their own..._
However. I hold out some hope, but not much, that the FA will do to City what the SFA did to Glasgow Rangers and dump them into the 2nd Division and hand them a _HUGE_ fine for being so devious.

I think their influence goes further than mainstream media and also impacts on social media platforms. For instance it appears that this platform has also been coerced by presumably a rich and powerful entity to get rid of comments in football videos that outline the evidence against the club in question and also discusses potential consequences that might apply, which is why I'm careful not to use trigger words or names that would alert this platform. It might sound like a conspiracy theory, but I've had over 100 comments go up in smoke, particularly when I make mention of a video that goes into great detail about this subject. I now try to disguise it as follows: Last word scandal, third word football, second word biggest and the first word Britain's. It is recommended watching.
