- Mark Clattenburg has resigned from his refereeing consultant role at Nottingham Forest following pressure from Sky Sports pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher. As a former Premier League referee, Mark Clattenburg was only appointed to this first-of-its-kind role in February, but leaves after an eventful 3 months which saw Nottingham Forest take to twitter to vent their grievances against VAR and the standard of officiating in the top flight. Great video as ever Uti, thanks for not being afraid to fight our corner with us at Forest. You are so right about our owner too as he doesn't suffer fools gladly and the guys at the PGMOL are most definitely that if they think they will shut him up. The only minor thing you got wrong in your video was you said it's been a year that Marinakis has been grumbling with the refs but it has actually been 2 seasons now as we suffered dreadful decisions from refs all last season and only stayed up because of our end of season form. Let's hope we can do the same again and stick 2 fingers up to the heads of the Premier League and their Refereeing Mafia who have kept us down there all season again due to their very poor and corrupt decisions. It's as if they don't want us up in the Premier League ever again!

Most football supporters want correct decisions, no matter whether the decision is for or against them. We are all sick of matches being decided by refereeing officials awarding blatantly incorrect decisions to the teams that they favour and penalising the teams they want to fail. There needs to be a government inquiry that will lead to the separation of PGMOL from their owners the Premier League, to provide fair transparent officiating of what is supposed to be the top league in the world.
As you say, except the government is utterly corrupt. They will act to protect Man City because they don't want to upset the Arabs.
The only hope is the law courts and they are not fully corrupted.

Mark Clattenburg was the worst referee I have ever seen saw him at `Goodison where he sent an Everon player off after his pal Stevie Gee had a word in his ear, and failed to send off Liverpool's Kyite for a horrendous two-footed tackle on Phil Neville, and also failed to give a penalty against Carragher much to his surprise, shortly thereafter stood down from officiating for dodgy business dealings. The man cannot lay straight in bed
