  • Simple step by step guide that shows how to wire a dash cam to the cars fuse box without cutting any wires or doing any soldering.
    Video also shows tips on how to best hide the cable for that factory fit look.

    Change the title to Ibiza 2019 model, as the 2016 Ibiza is different

    Great video but I would check that fuse 44 you appear to have wired is the Airbag according to my manual 2017 Seat ibiza

      That is exactly why I mention the need to check the vehicle with a meter, fuse box layouts can vary from region to region (global sales) even on spec of the vehicle in question.

    Hello, how did you take off the side panel? Thanks

      It's on very tight push fit clips that pop off,use a trim leverage tool and take care not to crack the trim.

    Seat Ibiza 1.6 Estate 2013 plate is very different. I can't find an earthing point unless I use a bolt for one of the pedals.

      Do you have any access to the dashboard mounting bolts? if so one of those would be good but sadly I currently don't have access to any vehicle workshop manuals to check (not working due to pandemic).

      @@PJsprojects Hi. I resolved the problem. I took off the side panel of the dash and found an earthing point there. Next challenge was the fuse adaptor wouldn't fit but I resolved that by shaving a little of the plastic from each side of the adaptor housing and it went in fine after that. All working.

    Is it similar in Ibiza 2018?

    This is a 2019 model?

      Sorry no idea, I’m trade so deal with hundreds of cars every year but the title is only up to 2017 so doubtful.
      If the year is mentioned in the video then it’s correct.👍🏻

    Any way to do it without the fuse tester

    • @PJsprojects
      @PJsprojects  Před rokem

      You could refer to the owners manual for a switched fuse such as the heater but it’s not advised due to the cost involved for turning off warning light errors.

      I’m trying to wire up a new stereo. I’m left with a 12v red wire that I need to hook up. Do you have any advice?

    • @PJsprojects
      @PJsprojects  Před rokem

      @@adampratt5785 That red wire is main switched power and so needs a power feed that goes in and off with the ignition. Maybe look to see if the cigarette socket is only on when the ignition is on. If so behind the socket will only have two or three wires, one of these will be power.
