@@DimaBlazhko actually I bought x2 different obd devices with 24/hr mode but neither work. The camera is great..I'm fine without 24/HR mode for now..one day when I have the time I will connect it the horn fuse and 12v cigarette lighter and be done with it. Thanks

Adrian, may I ask another question? Is there any way to tell whether there is power on the camera after I turn off the engine and pull out the key? Down the same line, should I select never shut off the camera or shut off after 5 min for example? Any suggestions? I just want to capture all unexpected events at night when my car is parked.

The best position is in front of the interior mirror in the middle of the windshield.

@@unu-iadi5914 Nici camera mea A500s nu are aceasta optiune, practic modulul opreste alimentarea la 11.4v. Dar nu-ti face griji pentru ca am lasat masina si saptamani intregi nepornita si nu a descarcat bateria.

Hello. No problem if you pass the cable past the "A" pillar, the airbag is the length of the ceiling above the doors.
Attach it to the harness which goes through A pillar and no problem. In some cars, the airbag is a little bit longer.

I have question so even though it is hardwired, it is not continuously recording even if your engine turned-off? It will only record once collision or an event happened? Thank you.
If you have installed the Hardware Kit, the camera will record continuously and the files in case of an event will be saved in the "Event" folder. The other files will be deleted one by one when the card is full.

Hello. I happened to find a 30A fuse with VCC, but it is not a rule to connect on a 30A fuse. It can be even smaller if it have VCC current.

Hello. The ACC cable will tell the camera when you have the ignition on, so the camera will know when you start the engine and know when you stop to enter parking surveillance mode.
Hi Adrian. I have one question and I hope you won't mind it. So, if I use/install hardware kit/parking surveillance cable, do I need regular power cord too (to switch from one cable to another), i.e. if I disable parking surveillance in settings, is my hardware kit/parking surveillance cable going to run regular options like regular power cord, meaning when I power on my engine Dash Cam will starts recording and when I power off my engine, Dash Cam will stops recording...meaning if I use hardware kit/parking surveillance cable, do I need regular power cable too (to switch from one to another) or hardware kit/parking surveillance cable is just enough? Hello. If you have installed a power supply hardware kit, it is no longer necessary to keep the power cable from the USB cigarette lighter socket.

Salut. Am același setup ca cel din video. Am tot citit și sunt în ceata, camera ar trebui să înregistreze în continuu sau doar la șocuri pe modul survailnace mode? Iar setarea cu oprire automata, 5, 10, 20min ? Eu o am pe off, acum că am conectato cu adaptorul la siguranțe? Cum ar trebui sa fie setarea? Orice selectez nu se modifică nimic.
Salut. Eu am setat intrarea in survailnace mode dupa 5 minute. Oricum , mai testeaza daca nu ai gasit configuratia optima. Din pacate dupa ce am montat camera eu nu am mai mers cu aceasta masina si nu am mai avut timp sa fac teste amanuntite.

Salutare! Clar as alege A800 in locul lui A500S deoarece softul este mai bine optimizat si implementat, pe cand la A500S au lasat niste scapari intentionate, cea mai notabila fiind faptul ca senzorul de impact declanseaza destul de greu comparativ chiar si cu modelul vechi Dash Cam Pro. Deci A800.
In privinta consumului in standby nu ai dece sa-ti faci griji, masina mea a stat si saptamani intregi nepornita si nu mi-a descarcat bateria.

Hello. Connect the red and yellow wire of the module to a fuse that receives permanent current. But you should know that in a few days it can drain your battery, it depends on how healthy your battery is.

Salut. Daca te referi și la alimentarea camerei din spate aceasta primește curent camera principala prin mufa care transmite și video. Probabil hardware kit-ul da ceva date despre alimentare prin firele de semnal din mufa acestuia.

Am exact o camera că cea pe care o prezinți in video. Am fost la un atelier să o monteze, dar au montat greșit firele.
După cinci minute se oprește camera și nu mai înregistrează nimic.
Am căutat pe net și am găsit video-ul tău, și i-am arătat acelui băiat , dar degeaba, el spunea că așa trebuie sa fie.
Doresc să o montez sa pot beneficia de toate calitățile camerei.
Mi-au montat firul galben pe o siguranță de 5 și cel roșu pe una de 10, a pus cu suport de siguranțe. Sunt bune sau trebuie sa caut sa fie de 10 și 15?
Vă trebui sa caut siguranță pentru firul roșu să am curent permanent, și pentru galben la contact?
Are importanță cum este pus suportul de siguranță, și siguranță în suport?
Ai cumva un video cu suport de siguranță?

Sigurantele trebuie sa fie cât mai mici dacă folosești adaptoare cu siguranta separata, 5A sunt potrivite. Verifica sa ai + permanent la firul rosu și + doar cu contactul pus pe firul galben, evident ca firul negru trebuie sa fie conectat la masa caroseriei. Adaptoarele de sigurante sunt ok de folosit. Dacă ai firele alimentatorului conectate corect atunci mai rămâne de verificat în menu dacă ai selectat sa între automat în modul de parcare după x minute, eu folosesc setarea pentru 5 minute.

There is a bit of consumption that is non stop and a bit more if the car gets hit or something because it starts filming. It should not be a problem but if you go on vacation for more than a week or two it is better to disconnect the cable from the camera, just to be safe.
Hi. It is very low current consumption, however the Hardware Kit module has integrated protection for the battery and when it has 11.4v it will turn off the power of the camera, so the battery is saved.

La prima siguranta ai curent pe pinul de sus, dupa cum se vede la multimetru, si ai pus firul pe pinul de jos. Dupa ce ai fixat firul, ai zis ca ai curent pe pinul de jos... Sa inteleg ca ai zis gresit prima oara si de fapt ai procedat bine, adica firul roșu trebuie montat pe pinul care nu primeste curent?
Salut. Am spus ca are curent deoarece deja montasem siguranta. Da, firul rosu trebuie conectat pe pinul care primește curent doar când este siguranta pusa. La fel și firul galben.

Sunt tare curios cum poate camera aia sa-si dea seama ca alimentarea vine de pe acel "harware kit" si nu de pe bricheta. o fi voltaj diferit de 5V pe kit? sau detecteaza pt ca are alimentare pozitiva pe 2 fire + 1 masa care trec prin acel kit. ca in cazul acesta daca stii pinout-ul, ca sa folosesti modul parking poti doar lipi niste fire in mufa aia de microusb standard si sa te folosesti doar de bricheta in caz ca ai curent neintrerupt la bricheta
Kitul comunică cu camera prin firele de date de pe cablul USB. Nu poți păcăli asta printr-o simplă legătură de fire.

Salutare. Din ce-mi amintesc camera poate fi setata sa inregistreze continuu (depinde de modelul camerei) iar inregistrarea continua se va opri daca tensiunea bateriei scade sub un anumit nivel atunci ramanand activa doar pentru inregistrarea la socuri.

Salut! Masina mea a stat nepornita vreo 3 saptamani și nu am avut nicio problema.

Rămâne în stand-by pana când tensiunea bateriei masinii scade la 11,4v (sper sa nu greșesc), atunci modulul oprește alimentarea camerei. Acest lucru depinde și de modul în care va fi camera când masina este oprita:
1. Supraveghere in parcare - filmeaza dor la detectarea unui șoc ;
2. Time Lapse - filmeaza continuu dar la un frame rate mai mic (probabil un cadru pe secunda).
Evident ca a doua opțiune consuma mai multa baterie și perioada pana când modulul va decupa camera de la alimentare este mai scurta.
Salutare! Mulțumesc de ajutor! Am făcut totul la fel ca tine si e totul perfect, o mica întrebare am. Cand pun contactul se aude un sunet din dreptul siguranțelor, bănuiesc ca este ceva normal sa se audă asa daca acolo acele 2 fire fac atingere cu siguranțele.
Salut. Probabil acel sunet se auzea si inainte si nu-l bagai in seama :) . Acolo sunt niste relee si se pot auzi uneori cand pui contactul.
@@AdrianDragan probabil ai dreptate, e prima data cand am bagat de seama, dar dupa 1 săptămâna totul funcționează corect fără probleme.
Salut! Am incercat azi sa instalez camera dupa tutorialul facut de tine. Nu am avut tensiometru asa aca am luat carticica cu legenda sigurantelor si am incercat sa "aflu" asa prin care sigurante exista tensiune si prin care nu ( ex siguranta de la radio). In kitul camerei am primit pentru hardwiring un cablu aftermarket unde firul galben e (BAT+) iar cel rosu (ACC). Am conectat firul ACC la radio, iar cel galben voiam sa il conectez la sistemul de iluminat interior deoarece becurile din interior am observat ca merg si fara cheie. Problema e in felul urmator: firul rosu si firul galben au direct forma de sigurante la capete si nu se leaga firele de sigurante ca si la kitul original din video si nu stiu cum sa conectez firul galben fiind o pozitie proasta a trabloului de sigurante. Camera merge cand pornesc masina dar nu intra in modul de parking deci clar nu am conectat bine firul galben(BAT+). Oare mi-ai putea lasa adresa ta de email sa iti trimit poze sa vezi mai bine despre ce e vorba si sa ma ajuti daca ai timp? Multumesc!

Spune-mi si mie te rog, daca alimentezi camera cu ajutorul acestui modul, camera o sa functioneze cand masina este parcata. Asta nu descarca bateria masinii ? Ma refer la faptul ca te poti trezi peste o saptamana sau o luna cu bateria descarcata ?
Salut. Folosind acest modul camera va intra in standby dar se va activa la un soc pe care l-ar primi masina. Modulul nu descarca bateria masinii, spre exemplu masina mea a stat mai bine de o luna si a pornit fara probleme.
