Thanks for the detailed video, it helped me with self installation of the hardwire kit for on my elite i20.
One suggestion I have for anyone else trying to install by themself is to use MULTIMETER to find the ACC VCC
Only when ignition turned on if you are receiving a power supply on any of the fuses you can use it for ACC and even when turned on if you are receiving the supply then same can be used for VCC. Hope this helps.

I did like this but when i turn off the car the camera stops recording until turn on again. If i turn off the engine and press the button key ,the camera starts recording for some hours and then stops again. why?

Concern: How exactly you got to know that those 2 fuse wires needs to go those socket itself. Please share more light over that, so it will help others with different car to choose right sockets.
And off-topic request: DDPAI Mola N3 is good or 70Mai DashCam is good? Or any other dashcam for budget of is 6-7K.

Regarding your concern, as I have described in the video, you need to take out any one fuse of your car and match it with the 3 different types provided to know which one suits yours.
Then, insert back the removed fuse to its original slot.
Then follow up by identifying the 'VCC' and 'ACC' fuses in the fuse box of your car by referring to your car's user manual. Also, if you find it difficult to identify them yourself, you can send the picture of your car fuse box details to nexdigitron and they will identify and inform you which exact fuses are to be removed.
For your off-topic request: Mola N3 provides 2K resolution which is the minimum to have in order to get good video quality. Always select the dashcam which provides the highest video resolution at your budget price, irrespective of which company it is from.

Really very well explained as always👏 just a concern if anyhow it will not void the warranty.
Technically it doesn't void any warranty. But some car manufacturers do not recommend it. Hence its a safer practice to remove hardwiring kit before giving your car for service. And once the car is back, reinstall the hardwiring again to use it until the next service.

Based on usage. Generally a car battery lasts about 5-6 years. With hardwiring it might last 4-5 years

I doubt if the parking monitoring would help as the dash cam would attract thief. Once the dash cam or the car is stolen, you can't track anything. My question is...can the dash cam be removed from the mount?

Which hardwire kit have you purchased specifically? As far as I know, 4G hardwiring kits are not supported in India .

No. You need to connect all the wires for hardwiring to work properly.

You can't use hardwire kit. It has to be provided by the respective company. Other hardwire kits wont be compatible with Qubo.

Both are more or less similar.

Hardwiring does not void car's warranty because there is no wire cutting involved. In most hardwire kits, the adapter fuses and their attachment wires are provided. You only need to replace the stock fuses (from fuse box) and insert the new ones. Also as an additional measure you can replace back the original fuses into their slots before giving your car for service. Your car's warranty will remain as it should.

Do you have the user manual of your i20 elite? Get a picture and index details of the i20 fuse box. In those fuses, select the ACC and VCC fuses as I have shown in the video.

Acc would be that connection which only works when car is turned on or in accessory mode. If car is off, acc will be off

Acc fuse will be those which work only when car is turned on like, power windows, 12v power socket etc. You can find an alternative fuse which works when car turns on.
Dont use the one mentioned as 'not used'.

After 5min, parking mode LED should turn on. Or if you just sit in the car for 5min after turning it off, you can hear audio prompt that parking mode has started. Thirdly you can check the sd card tomorrow morning for parking mode video footage.
Which is best location to put the front cam? Should it be visible to driver?
Right below the rear view mirror. And yes, it is preferred to be visible to the driver so that the driver can identify easily the status of the dashcam while driving via LED notification or via onscreen pointers.

Not at all, unless you cut any wire. Also as an additional measure, you can remove the hardwiring kit(fuses & wires) before giving your car for service and plug it back when you recieve the car.
I bought Tata Nexon, Is hardwiring 70 Mai 500 void the warranty?
Hardwiring doesn't void the warranty of the car. BUT, some dealerships do not recommend this and say that it voids the warranty. This is because of standard company policy where the company doesn't want to be held liable to any damage to the electrical circuit (if there ever is) and doesn't wish to take up corrective actions free of cost. This is obvious because which company will ever like to replace parts and accessories for free? Even if you and me had a company, we would say the same to our customers. So in short, technically no warranty is void, but in terms of company policy and principles, it does.
So the solution to this problem is to remove the hardwiring kit just before giving your car for service or before attempting to claim any warranty, at the company's service centre. If you have replaced back the fuses to their proper slots, no one in the world can recognize that the car was hardwired previously. Hence any warranty claim at such instance will be honored by the company and you wont have a thing to worry about. Once the car is back from service, install the hardwiring back again and you are good to go until the next service (generally a year later).
What about back camera?
Back camera works together with front camera. No need to hardwire it separately.

Agreed. That's an option too for long term. I use hardwiring kit for short term testing purposes. Hence don't find opening the A pillar every time a feasible option. Everyone one can freely do so.
Do hardwiring affect battery life?
In the very long term, yes. But for example, in case of Nexdigitron A3, there is a safety mechanism in the app, where it automatically disconnects the battery when it falls below the selected range, like 12.4V or 12V or 11.8V. In such a scenario, battery life will not be affected.

When I'm cutting off the ignition then it's entering in time lapse mode but some video shows it to go in parking surveillance mode. How can I be sure that parking surveillance is working?

The purpose of hardwiring is to get 24hour surveillance on your car. Normally, the dashcam records videos only when the car is on. But after hardwiring, the dashcam continues to record video even after the car is turned off or parked.

Well you can purchase a separate dashcam battery pack. Alternatively, in select dashcams, you get battery protection feature within the app settings which you can enable to prevent excessive drain. Also, by using only timelapse mode, battery can be extended for a longer duration.

How many hours does the camera last after hard wiring?
Depends on each camera and it's auto cutoff voltage, also the type of parking mode used. In timelapse mode, it can last longer upto 48hours. In normal recording or low bitrate recording it may last 10-12 hours. In collision detection mode, it may last much longer as the recordings are only triggered in the event of any abnormal vibration/collision.

As I can see, your dash cam goes into time laps mode at the end of the instalation.Shouldn' t go in parking mode?! Time laps is a mode where the dash cam records from time to time in a fast and comprimated mode, not real time recording in case of a burglary. The hardwire kit should have this advantage, to go in parking mode and detect in real time if somebody come to close to your vehicle and record his actions.So I have the same issue with my dash camera, which is a 70 mai 360. It goes in time lapse mode not parking mode.Mine supose to turn around when something suspicious happens around the vehicle and it doesn't. Where is the problem?! Hardwiring wrong way the kit?!
Timelapse recording comes under both 'regular recording' and 'parking mode'. In fact most dashcams have only timelapse recording as parking mode feature. So my camera going into timelapse mode is a normal action.
Regarding your query about dashcams recording videos when someone approches the car etc is a feature only few dashcams have. Just because you have hardwired your dashcam, doesn't mean it will start recording videos as you expected it to. To record videos when someone approches the car, the dashcam should have what is called as 'motion detection' feature. Again, 'motion detection' too comes in various types such as only based on collision detection sensor, or AI based video motion detection or radar based detection. Generally most cameras have only g-sensor based motion detection.
Parking mode of any dashcam too has various modes such as 'timelapse mode' and ' low bitrate ordinary recording ' mode or 'collison detection ' mode and finally 'motion detection' mode.
So it basically comes down to what camera you have and if the camera has all those features/hardware built in inorder to achieve such results.
