0:00 Intro
0:05 The technician wasn't informed of any other information regarding this truck. The customer's insurance company covered the damages. Most likely the thief popped the driver's side front tire, drove on the wheel, and get driving until it all ripped off, then started to ground on the bottom of the front differential.
0:19 No extra information from the technician on damages.
0:32 First time we have ever seen this! When the customer was doing work on their truck, they had removed the backing plate/dust shield, then somehow installed it backward, and installed the brake pad on top of it, then installed the caliper. This must have sounded awful for quite a while. The crazy thing is it did not even come in for this concern, only an alignment.
0:46 The check engine light came on as the engine started to run rough since the copper radiator stop leak got into oil galleries and between the valve springs. The technician did not mention what the customer ended up doing about this.
1:01 The jeep had a body lift that was very poorly installed, a frame in terrible shape that the customer tried fixing themselves, and a handful of other issues (brakes, drivetrain etc.). The shop did not want their name on this vehicle.
1:16 The technician still worked on this Ford Fiesta but he said he could not believe the spider he saw inside!
1:28 The customer tried using a tire plug to stop the driver's rear tire from leaking (did not work). The customer got new wheels and tires installed as the tires were dry-rotted.
1:37 No extra information.
1:51 The technician wasn't informed what other shop apparently did this, however, they installed a new cylinder head for the customer.
2:04 Engine is 6.4 L (Hemi) in this 2023 RAM 5500.
The technician said: "The piston and connecting rod just destroyed themselves. Chrysler is having a problem with this and with them dropping valves."
2:16 Customer's insurance company covered damages. Not always but often rodents and other animals/bugs will be attracted to leftover food/garbage left in vehicles, so that's why it's important to keep your vehicle cleaned!
2:33 The shop installed the new hood ornaments for the customer.
2:40 Front tires were bald and strut mounts were broken.
2:55 "Vehicle came in for some work but not ball joint work and this happens as it's sitting on the lift was on the lift for 20 plus minutes prior to this."

On that last one, I'm loving the *turns around* "Oh fuck!"
I dont know if I would want him working on my car.
He did not hear the first pop nor the second.
@@IIGrayfoxII that was another customer. (Not the owner of the red truck) lol
I thought it was the owner of the truck. Lol.
Yeah, I think that replaces the sharp intake of breath as the worst thing to hear your mechanic say!
Mind you, as far as the timing goes, that couldn't have gone better at least for the owner. The shop, on the other hand, have now got their lift taken up until they can get a new one fitted.
At least itâs on camera. The customer canât say you guys did something to my car. And thank God he wasnât driving at the time.
_"No, I do not wish you to fix the suspension, I'd rather have it randomly break in the middle of nowhere so I can pay even more money getting towed to a garage to fix the thing I don't want you to fix now. Thank you."_
At highway speeds, on that tire, with a strut completely broken like that, the repair will soon be unnecessary. The money they saved in skipping repairs, they can use towards hospital bills.
I've driven on some pretty sketchy tires before, but I wouldn't trust that thing to make it across the street, never mind across state lines!
I don't like government controls! But yearly inspections should be mandatory!
The truly amazing thing is that the customer apparently doesn't understand the point of having the car inspected before a long trip. Apparently, he / she thinks it is some sort of ritual that you have an inspection performed rather than an opportunity to find and fix problems before the trip.
It should be noted that the strut mounts need to be replaced. Likely not the strut itself. However when doing one you should normally do the other
Your welcome to pay for it then..
You forget. Just because you can doesn't mean everybody else can just be able to afford aby given repair anytime
When they took driving "until the wheels fall off" to a whole new level!
damn i was about to say this lol
Some motorist's attitude is "Drive it like you stole it."
This is just resonates with the Kia accident happend a few days ago, so many road hazards.
@renold0913 man that was wild!
when I said jesus take the wheel......I didnt mean that one!
The near nonchalant of "needs a new ball joint" says this guy has seen something like this happen more than once.
Friend works as a mechanic, and yeah, they've all got stories.
Best was hearing about how badly some wheel bearings die here if their seals are bad; rust so bad they're taking the torch to the wheel for 3 hours to free it up by slowly easing it out with heat.
I've never seen a ball joint so worn out, that the weight of the wheel is all it needs to separate it! Imagine that had happened somewhere the road
No wonder that technician didn't want to take that car for a test drive at 1:47. Probably afraid he might time travel if he hit 88 mph?
đđ
That was my thought too!
Don't you need 1 .5 gigawatts of power first? 1.21, I stand corrected.
@Gary Miller 1.21 actually! But with the way that car was wired up, it probably could produce 1.5
That car only need 8.8 grams of crack to time travel.
Even the spider is saying "Let me out, there's bugs in here!"
How did he let it get to spiders though...
đ
OK Wow, i've seen everything as a decades long mechanic but that new spark plug hole drilled just floored me.
If I remember correctly, Rainman Ray had come across something like that a while back.
I'm sure no metal chips got into the cylinder...
I got a screencap of that for the next time someone tells me how much they love thinking "outside the box"
@@sometimesleela5947 That isn't thinking outside the box, that is just plain stupid.
Look at this way! You are poor just barely making it. Pay for a new motor or try an inventive may not work fix! It will still run on a missfire and get you to work.
1:27 that spider ain't doing anything, he's living rent-free.
Tell him to do his job, he's got food all around him.
Spider was probably full.
How you think he got that big? lol
that older guys reaction to that ball joint was absolutely priceless
I feel sorry for all you mechanics. You have to get into some of the nastiest cars on the road. I do believe I would just tell them to clean it up or leave and don't come back. It just gives me the willies to see some of those cars. Great video as always!
Had a car that was only 5 years old. The driver and passenger floormat were covered... i mean Thousands of nail clippings. Customer mentioned nothing about it.
I'm amazed that some of these shops decline work depending on how disgusting they are.
â@@XXXskittlesrulesXXXđ€źđ€źđ€źđ€źđ€ź
Worst I ever had was a Prius with a piece of month old butter in the trunk. I still wonder how I managed not to barf around the entire car. The smell was terrible.
I keep wondering how people keep spending way above 20.000$ for a car only to neglect it in such a way.
I won't work on nasty cars I just say sorry can't help you
Everything on this channel makes me fearful of driving on the road among THESE PEOPLE, but that bug-mobile takes it to the next level. The driver is going to have these creepy crawlies on him and he's going to swat one and turn into opposing traffic.
There should be a notice for every customer that details basic minimum standards for condition of the interior of the car. Sad that people live like this.
Many years ago, I was approaching a major highway from a small side road. I was looking into the sun so, just at the point I should start braking, I flipped down the sun visor. This big-assed spider drops straight into my lap! It was enough to make me a couple of seconds late in starting braking, such that I stopped out in the 3rd lane of the highway. Luckily, everyone else was on the ball that day, and they all managed to stop without anybody hitting anybody.
I totally get where you are coming from. đ„Ž
I had a customer veer of the road and into a ditch because they were trying to reach across and smash a mosquito that was on the passenger side window. They came in for an alignment which I did after replacing the bent parts.
@@gomezgomezian3236 Huntsmen spiders are renowned for doing that, their legs fold sideways so they can fit into narrow crevices. I've found them in door reveals, under door handles and a few times inside the car.
â@@gomezgomezian3236 They are, after all, nature's ninjas.
Just when I thought my car "messy" because I had 2 bills lying around I see other people use their vehicles as dumpsters and with bugs. I felt relieved lmao
A whole ecosystem. That was one well fed spider
@@Earthneedsado-over177 Or bills he has to pay lol
that hack job that somebody did drilling a new hole for a spark plug next to the broken spark plug had me laughing so effing hard
The spark plug one is a new level of insanity. WTF is wrong with some people?!đ
The previous mechanics family would be casket shopping.
And to think they probably drilled a hole and threaded it. I don't think they took of the head to remove any metal shavings đ
@@cowboy3490 I think the previous mechanic was the customer, his buddy, and some cheap beer.
Whoever did that has some of the biggest balls, and the least amount of brain matter, in the western hemisphere.
@@cowboy3490 Ooohh....internet tough guy in the house!!

"OH SH*T"
Morbid curiosity has me wondering what would happen if the car at 2:34 met a truck with tons of lightbars.
The rebirth of disco?
@@MonkeyJedi99 Today's internet winner!
I'm wondering how many shreds any pedestrian they might hit would turn into
I saw a car with so much bling on the outside that I donât know how they could see anything when the sun hit it. đ€Šââïž
Get some Diatomaceous Earth and lightly sprinkle it on the floor boards of the insect infested vehicles. I would tell the customer to lightly apply it everywhere. Diatomaceous Earth dries up all kinds of critters. I keep at least one sticky trap under my driverâs seat. â€ïžâ€ïž
"It sounded like the Titanic breaking in half" made my day XD
Customer declined all repairs and still went on the road-trip. I canât believe it!
Did they come back from the road trip? That is the question!
@@HighSierra1500 Frankly, I'd be a little surprised!
I can some people really are bloody clueless. đđ€Łđ My sister is one of those people and drove over 3000kms from here in New South Wales here in Australia to Queensland with very little brakes and at least 2 year old engine oil and wondered why the car blew up.
@@HighSierra1500 đđ€Łđ Yeah they would have in a tow truck.
Unfortunately it is not surprising at all that people are driving cars that only belong in the scrap yard every day. It's all about laziness and not wanting to "waste money on car repairs" when it still sorta gets them from A to B & B to A every day.
"Gonna need a new ball joint too" lol
That must have taken a huge effort to make another hole for the spark plug. Ingenious.
Yeah, he couldn't afford an "Easy Out" tool but has 5 hours to screw around on that new HEMI head!
Maybe he thought it would have twice the horsepower
They had another video on here where somebody did the exact same thing. The head was removed and one cylinder had two spark plugs sticking through.
@@kenlee74 I haven't seen that. If you remember which video, I'd love to see it.
Genius. With a J.

The leopard print steering wheel cover just tops it off.

Like a hand grenade on wheels
The last part was hilarious. It's as though the truck was saying fix me please đ
That last video cracked me up.

Takes a lot to leave me speechless but "drilled a new hole for the spark plug" did it!
Can you imagine the noise that made when they hit and ran over that street sign?

I mean, better on a lift then doing 85 on the interstate.
Ah, so THAT'S what it means to "drive it like you stole it"
The technician's reaction to the ball joint is genuineđđ
I appreciate the shops that say "no can do"! Not only is it unsafe for them, but the people they may injure or kill because of their attitude!
Also if it is already in a somewhat dangerous condition, they don't want to be putting any liability on themselves if they were to touch it.
2:46 shop should report the driver to the police for knowingly driving a dangerous weapon on the road.
Customers blow my mind everyday đ
It's an idea called the Cost of Maintenance. Paid no just in money, but time.
Some of them blow 0.1's every day.
â@@NotSexualAtAll sh*t same but at least I function normally and am not a total dumbass like these space cadets
Love the doggos on the truck's window at the end! So cute!
I am not a mechanic, but those who are, do not get paid enough to deal with those nasty cars. When my car was in the shop, I spent a few hours detailing it so it would smell nice for the mechanic đ
As a retired mechanic YOU are right
I'd do the same thing. Wash and vacuum it as a minimum.
@Louis Schummer wish everybody did... I can tell some stories but you will be in the bathroom puking.. I have up chucked in my mouth holding it bad many times lol
as a retired mechanic, your car doesn't have to be spotless. BUT if you locate that darn wheel lock key, its better than a free beer sometimes!
Doesn't hurt to leave an open bag of candy in there too.
I once had a spider around that size (maybe a bit larger...huntsman spider) pop up on the window sill of my driver's door just as the lady at the drive thru asked, "How can I help you today?" She was greeted by a litnay of not nice words. I generally am ok with spiders, but being strapped into a car seat and my only exit having this monster spider on it...just freaked me out. Plus the unexpectedness of it...and then my boy said "you know she's not alone..."
I wish there was more like the last clip, the tire just slumping over, and the "holy fuck" reaction made mine and my buddies day.
That bug car looked like a complete ecosystem.
The spider was clearly there to feast on the bugs. A few more of those and a snake will move in.
@@baksatibi in a few weeks the snake will evolve given that tropical paradise and it'll start to screech and caw for a mate
I would tell customer from 2:16 to GTFO and never come back. What kind of sicko surrounds themselves with that level of filth.
Ball joint failing on the suspended truck looks like paranormal activity to me!
I was thinking that until it occurred the ball joint let go because the truck was on the lift.
I just love their reactions in the last clip
Well have to replace the ball joint
Oh yea
It fell off
WHAT THE FUCK
I love how that one guy was so casual when he said we also need to replace the ball joints
Let's just say... that truck became a tricycle
2 of them in one video actually
Almost every clip today was something entirely new.
Somehow, after all the videos you've made, you still manage to surprise me! Thanks to everyone who sends in clips!
when your truck acts like a wild animal and comes to humans asking for help....2:57
That ball joint fail at the end was just perfect comedic timing.
I think lots of people out there are seeing other people get scammed by bad mechanics out there, and then think that their vehicle is perfectly fine, but in reality it's falling to pieces. Something definitely needs to be done about this, cuz it's not fair to those who are just trying to get an oil change with nothing wrong with their car, and it's not fair towards the mechanics who are just trying to keep the road safe.
That last one made me laugh.
His reaction when he say the wheel derping out! Priceless!
And I DID finally leave you a message on fb LOL. Hope youre doing well and congrats!
I'll get back to you when I get a moment đ. Hope you're doing well buddy.
No matter how bad of a day anybody is having these videos will turn those dark and dreary days away to happiness. Best darn videos on the internet.

Bruh this might be the funniest one yet. I love the wheel at the end that just...breaks. xD
I thought the car with the interior modifications was unreal, but then the car with all the badges appeared. And just when I thought this video couldnt be topped, along comes the last clip of a truck demanding to be repaired!
These videos continually make me glad of the inspection system in the UK. Wowsers
I live in a state that requires an inspection for a vehicle registration to be legally allowed to drive on public roads. but i see so many people just outright driving without license plates, much less a valid safety inspection.
and then there are the ones that have valid/passing inspections and are still falling apart. (it scares me too)
@@THRASHMETALFUNRIFFS she done died.
An inspection system they're wanting to delay between visits too :/
This is nothing compared to cars in India and Pakistan and whatever other country is over there. There is no safety in those countries. There is a video of a family pulling out of a hotel and not even 2 minutes down the road a flatbed truck carrying a full load of bricks not strapped or anything and the start to fallout and one bounced and went through the windshield killing the mother.
