- Annoyed by all those kids sagging their pants? Well, here's a good way to put that disturbance to use. (It shall help you with your solubility endeavors) Solubility Rules condensed. Watch until the end to note the exceptions to what's always soluble with Nag Sag.. PMS and Castro Bear are exceptions :)

Yesss certainly agree!
2:40 > 50 Min College Lecture...
I would be lucky if my professor spent this long on the topic...
+DesignerReviewz Preach it.
i didn't even get a lecture... I got a piece of paper and she told us to memorize it.
Lmao idiot studying this in college... what a poor college xD
@@skeletonskelly5075 Never heard of gen eds, smartass?
i wrote the whole nag sag, pms and castro bear on the back of my test and my teacher wrote a question mark, got full points tho thx
LMAOO me tomorrow lmao
@@_liyah_5584 good luck

Why are 2 minute videos better than every 60 minute class I took in my life? Shilpa, thank you so much.
NASA 117
Nitrates, Acetates, Sulfates, Ammonium, Group 1, Group 17
Much better
Ahh shoot like Master Chief Spartan 117 haha
But where are the exceptions?
my favourite par is the 117, not only now do you know its group 1 and group 17, but if you forget what group 17 just remember spartan 117 from halo, halo=halogens
Eric Fortin I didn’t even realize that; nice!
When she said I lied I died😂. I love this video very informative.
+Matthew Jenkins fucking zombie
Gonna nag sag it in my exams tomorrow
Im so going to nag sag my chem midterm bro
+YooWuzzup I have a feeling he didn't nag sag his exam
I killed it
***** One PAAANCH
Im nag sag ing tommorow
billy ocean good luck man. Do your best😎
The way we remember the exceptions in my high school chem class is Small(Silver), Medium(Mercury), Large(Lead).
that is actually much easier to remember
That's so much better thank you
Lol thanks
Thank you haha
thanks bro still helping people 7 years later
that awkward moment when you watch this video with your pants sagging...
Lol
thank you so much for this. This is definitely better than having to memorize an entire solubility table.
This video is the chemistry equivalent of "well yes but actually no"
Most of Chemistry is well yes, but actually no lol
what is well yes but actually no
For anyone who needs insolubility:
Oxide and Hydroxide - except with Castro Bear and Ammonium
C-arbonate
P-hosphate
S-ulfite
Cr-omate
O-xalate
S-ulfide
Carly Picks Strawberrys and Cranberrys On Saturdays
(EXCEPT WITH GROUP 1 and AMMONIUM)
Thanks!
Thank you! You're the best!
Thank you for this video - my friends and I refer to it constantly. I got 97% in my IG chemistry exam and this was a part of that.
Life saver! Literally sat through a whole lecture and learned more here then I did there.....
People like you have a special spot in my heart
Thank you so much! This one video made me understand a chapter that I've ignored for the last two tests (preperation of salts), and for the first time I've understood the logic for the same. May Your name be hallowed by hundreds of chemistry students world wide!
You are among the best kind of people
This is awesome! Simple, straight forward, and easy to remember :) Thank you!!!
I used this in undergrad and studying for the MCAT and I'm sure I'll use it in med school too. Thank you.
how's med school going?
@@Nickgiorgio111 its going good. Definitely not doing any of this solubility stuff tho haha
@@bencarusomed great job man, I hope to be in your shoes one day.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share this with all of us!
Even though I will be done with chemistry forever in 8 hours when I'm done with this final, I found this SUPER helpful! Thank you so much!!!!
damn 8 years ago
I gotta ask were you really done forever?
@@gummywormnation8744 pretty much yeah. Got my mechanical engineering degree and never looked back. Holy shit I can't believe it's been that long, I don't even remember making this comment lol
@@Gabriel-xn8ye not too bad IMO. It's a broad field and the work you end up doing can vary wildly, depending on where you go and what discipline you're in. Personally I would advise against quality engineer positions unless you like being bored (and you looooove statistics). Manufacturing isn't bad though.
Overall you get compensated decently well, most positions are low stress and there's opportunity to go in almost any direction you want if you don't restrict yourself to one geographical area.
Immediately committed to memory. Beautifully done!
Thank you so much for this! It has made remembering these rules so much easier.
My Gen Chem professor taught us this acronym. It helped me so much throughout my course. Remember this if you are watching and want an easy way to remember solubility rules.
This is actually so help I have a AP chem test today and I absolutely devoured the test!!!
This is going to save my life tomorrow. Thank you.
I can't tell you just how much time and crying you saved me so THANK YOU
my final is on monday and i can't believe that i just now discovered this...bless your soul, you might have just saved my
GPA
You really done a great job! Thanks a lot for these information .
this is the best thing ive ever seen. you have officially saved my ass
This is amazing - solid chemistry combined with helpful fashion tips.
damn i gotta chem test tomorrow :/
Suzi Williamson I got one today
HAHA same but in 2018 ;) time to yoloo
Suzi Williamson
I have one right now!
@@andrewpierce3487 got one tomorrow dog. on all the ionic equations and balancing, solubility etc. such a grind
I'm seeing a trend here with these replies, so I've got a mock one coming up in 3 days :)
Thank for your generous contribution to my chemistry grade. Liked and subbed
Beautiful! This is so helpful! Thank you!
You are a saint. Thank you.
Thank you so much Shilpa! This was super helpful!

Very handy, thank you Shilpa!
This is the most helpful video I've seen!!

The way she said i lied😂😂😂
I used this video for chemistry in high school and now I graduated college and am referring to it again for the MCAT. God bless you ;-;
thank you very much ! you saved me from failing the Chemistry Honors test tomorrow :)
Thank you so much, this really helped me a TON, thank you :)
Thank you very much Castro Bear :)
This is awesome! I remember even better by saying you get NAG if you SAG except you have PMS or CompletelyBonkerS
Thank you, this will make it easier to remember the solubility rules
Thank you thank you... this makes it so much easier
I created a modified mnemonic video based on your solubility mnemonics, it is called "1 NAP SHACK." It covers what you have plus a few more that makes it more complete. Thanks for creating this video.
Thank You you are Lifesaver!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so so so much! This helped me so much, since I can literally never remember the soluability rules, but now I will so thank you!❤️
Sagging pants is part of the culture but so is becoming a Doctor haha...Thanks

Its was amazing for us....the logic nag sag was outstanding
This is amazing, thank you!!!

Best method yet!
Great Video Thanks a bunch for helping chem students!!
This really helped me out for my pre-ap chemistry class.
Out here saving lives.
it worked!!! you the best.
Clever and quite useful!
Thank you so so much, this has been so helpful.
I love this video. It's amazing how you can learn the solubility rule in such a short time. It's really amazing❤❤
Thank you so much for this video!!!
Thanks I really needed this
Thank you so much... this helps a LOT
Amazing!!! Thankyou so much!
Thank you I'm going to use this to teach!

Great video!
Definitely going to nag zag tomorrow 😂👀💯💯🤔
Thank u!!! Made things a lot easier to remember
It was really helpful.. I had such a hard time understanding this... Thank you very very much
Very easy to remember. Thanks!
Soluble:
- NASA 117 [Nitrates, acetates, sulphates, ammonium, group 1, group 17]
Exceptions:
- Small-Medium-Large [S=Silver, M=Mercury*, L=Lead]
- Castro bear [Calcium, Strontium and Barium] (alot easier in my opinion)
What about mercury ?
He meant M to be Mercury.
Magnesium is not an exception
