Club Academia The Untold Story
Welcome to Club Academia, where learning is not just about textbooks, but about connecting, creating, and conquering challenges together. Join us as we unveil the inspiring story behind this platform, a journey fueled by passion, innovation, and the power of youth.
Shilpa, as a high school student, grappled with the pressure of excelling in academics. Endless hours of study often felt unproductive due to the lack of effective resources. Online tutorials were either too long or too complex, leaving her more confused than enlightened.
She realized that her friends often had a knack for explaining concepts in a way that made sense. Why not harness this potential to create a platform where students can teach and learn from each other? This was the genesis of Club Academia.
Club Academia is more than just a platform; it's a community of young minds united by a shared passion for learning. The vision was simple: to create a space where students could teach what they know best and learn from their peers.
While Club Academia empowers learners, it also benefits the creators. The process of making a video solidifies knowledge, develops essential soft skills like presentation and communication, and boosts confidence.
The driving force behind Club Academia is Shilpa Yarlagadda. A student from Palo Alto, California, Shilpa's passion for education eventually led her to Harvard University.
While at Harvard, Shilpa's entrepreneurial spirit ignited, leading to the birth of Shiffon Co., a direct-to-consumer fine jewelry label. What started as a dorm room project blossomed into a global sensation.
Shiffon's signature piece, the adjustable Duet Pinky Ring, has captured the hearts of celebrities worldwide. From Michelle Obama and Serena Williams to Nicole Kidman and Emma Watson, A-list stars have adorned themselves with Shiffon's elegant designs.
Beyond fashion, Shilpa's commitment to empowering women is evident in the Startup Girl Foundation. Half of Shiffon's profits are dedicated to funding female founded businesses, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
Club Academia's impact resonated far and wide, earning her the prestigious Westly Prize. Founded by Steve Westly, a renowned entrepreneur and former California Controller, the Westly Foundation supports innovative initiatives like ours. Steve's expertise in business and technology has been invaluable in guiding our growth.
Club Academia is just beginning its journey. Our goal is to reach millions of students worldwide, providing them with the tools and support to achieve their full potential.

I think this is the first time ever that I understand how to interpret what time signatures are despite having it had been explained to me so many times. Wording it as the bottom note equals what type of note gets to beat for some reason clicked for me. all the videos I’ve watched have been saying the same thing but her wording for some reason got through to me. It’s weird how the brain works.
This is the best way that I've seen to memorize this. I actually screen-shot it, printed it, and laminated it. So, thank you!
We are so happy it was helpful and we hope you memorize and ace your solubility rules :)
Beautifful voice!
Is it the best MVT proof on youtube?
ty , helped in understanding
Good cooking! Keep it up
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you
i watched this the night before my exam and i am probably going to fail im sorry
🥵😮💨😮💨
Nag Sag, PMS, and Castro Bear. Thats actually genius.
any nag sag enjoyers in 2024 haha
real
I feel stupid but why is it like Ag+ or like Li+ like if it's just an element then why isn't it just Ag ?
Didi u r god
that was very helpful before the chemo test!!! Thanks:) cuz my teacher literally doesn't teach anything bout it
boutta use this on my midterm tomorrow
this is the most useful thing ever ...tysmmm

wait a minute ELEVEN YEARS AGO?
You lied 🥺
WOOOOOOO 11years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who else is studying for Midterm exam? (2024)
They are in my jee advance from chapter salt analysis in which we gad to study heating effect identification of cation and thrir test and anions
Tbf your left hand is supposed to do a 3/ (either 2 or 4, doesn’t matter) time signature and your right is supposed to do 2/ you just did 2/ on both hands.
People like you have a special spot in my heart
I am here bc of Sondheim
POV: night before final exam!
This is actually so help I have a AP chem test today and I absolutely devoured the test!!!
YAY! Love to hear it!
You are the best best ever 🎉
❤
Why. do they always say goodluck??
This video helped but lay off the saggers! Some of them are good people!
There was a hymn we sung in church today in the this time signature, I struggled with it.
😮
if it is difficult to understand as I can not see what note you are on. Especially for beginners. As a beginner this is near impossible to grasp
For those who were wondering why she multiplied both sides by (1-p), she was trying to create a new statement by manipulating E(X) or μx in order to use them in showing that the formula E(y) = p · Σ k (1-p)^{k-1} is true. It's just a proving technique (i'm sure there's a name for it but idk). Basically, she's using a system of equations which she derived from the original and use them prove/equate that the statement is indeed true/coherent. It does not have to be (1-p) for it to work. She can multiply both sides with p and it will still work (but the work might be more/less complicated). You can try do this by yourself. here is how Salman from Khan Academy does it: czcams.com/video/7br_-emGNec/video.html
I will sag my pants whenever I want
ISTG YOUR A LIFE SAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER BIGGG LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE NGLLLLLL
I love this video. It's amazing how you can learn the solubility rule in such a short time. It's really amazing❤❤
I'm so glad it helped! :)
Hiii this is rly helpful but I think there’s one error where it’s not group 17 it’s group 7 🫢
How did you come up with the idea of using background music for a music video, it distracts and confuses.
This video was a decade ago sir
Studying before 15 days of jee advanced 😢
I used this video for chemistry in high school and now I graduated college and am referring to it again for the MCAT. God bless you ;-;
awww love this! So glad it helped and that you came back to it!
