- So Solubility can be difficult if you don't know how to properly use a solubility table! In this video I go over all of the solubility rules plus we do a bunch of examples predicting the solubility of ionic compounds whether they are soluble or insoluble. Chemistry doesn't have to be so confusing, it can actually make sense! Yay to less stressful nights!

MELISSA! I am so grateful for you. I can remember the night I found your channel a couple weeks ago-- I was sobbing at three in the morning because I couldn't understand dimensional analysis haha. Your sweet voice and joyful attitude (and the little dance you do while we're supposed to work on practice problems haha) gave me this peace like "oh my gosh, okay, I can do this!" And I kid you not since then, before I study any new topic in Chem, I watch one of your videos first. You give a perfectly concise, fun, but in depth explanation. You are seriously gifted. Thank you, from all the struggling chem students out here !
Thank you so much I'm in grade 11 Chem, my teacher never fully explained this like you. Good luck where ever you're headed in the future. :)
You're very welcome! And thank you so much I appreciate the support đ€
We are being taught this in yr 9 and now I understand just have to learn this table now
You are a life saver! I purchased your Chem 1 notes, and they are amazing! You go girl! You make me excited for chemistry.
I am so thankful for you, you are the reason why I am passing my Chem class!
Thank you so much! your videos are very very helpful. They helped me pass my chemistry tests!
I understand it now, thanks! Literally no one in my grade knows whats going on in chemistry, we all just pretend and guess
Hello , I just wanted to thank you for helping me in chemistry especially with online learning during this period , thank you again :)
These videos are amazing!! Thank you for your time and love for teaching.
Thank you very much! ...my chemistry đšâđ« professor was giving me a hard time because I did not know this, :( and he made me đ feel bad ... but now I got it ..thank you so much!
I'm having trouble with chemistry. Glad I found you on here
My Teacher recommends your video's to us if we don't understand his and I'm so glad, you explain it so well and have the answers to basically all of my chemistry questions!
THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT EASIER AND ACTUALLY GIVING EXAMPLES!
I'm working towards the end my my last semester in chemistry and wish I would've found you way way way sooner. Love your video. -Thanks for the uploads!
Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!! This made so much sense, especially the table.
you're an actual life saver ! you explain in 5 minutes what my prof can't explain in 45
Thank you so, so much! Your explanation was so clear and helped so much!
so grateful for your videos and links to additional resources!! thank you thank you thank you
Thank you for this! ive been trying to learn from reading and it just wasn't clicking. Your videos are amazing and so so helpful.
Thank you Melissa i enjoy watching all your videos i was afraid to fail Chemđ but you explain it very clearly! đ
Your videos are really helpful, thank you!
super helpful. thanks for putting this together!
Great video! Thanks for making, Melissa. Would you kindly tell me what type of tablet and stylus you use? Very effective.
Your videos are a life saver, thank you so much
I like the way you explain it so clear and simple THANKYOU SO MUCH!
You are so welcome!
Quick question! How do we know when to use (s) and (aq) vs the states (s),(l),&(g)
Thank you, this was simple and easy to understand!
Thank you so much ma'am for helping out the students for chemistry. You are just an amazing mentor for billions of students.
omg thank u so much, I got stuck on the topic and didn't understand how it should be done and you helped me thank u so much
My professor is really good but she sometimes forgets to explain how to do something like for example how to use these rules. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this video!!
Thank you so much , i have not learn any thing about it with my teacher or any other video except your video ,so thank you a loooooot đđ
You're very welcome!
my first year learns chemist and thank you for this so i can do ions equation
I found it hard to distinguish which element comes aqueous after the reaction. Your video helps a lot!
Thank you so much. why we have to look at the end first.
Thank u very much for making this awesome video
this is golddd, thank you!!!!
For those of you who might have run into a similar problem like me, Sulfate (SO4^2-) has one more exception, which is Hg^2+, Melissa probably forgot but it's not a problem. Great video and thanks for the explanation!
thank you for all of the chem help! you are truly the reason why i have an A in my class
been fighting back tears all day because I didnât understand anything in class and now I feel better because I get it.. I watched your video on complete ionic and net ionic equations before this and itâs all coming together đ„ș
Wow. This finally makes sense. Thank you !!!!
omg thank u melissa, i have a chem test tomorrow and this has really helped me improve my understanding of solubility ^^ now i just have to work on half-life problems. r.i.p. the struggle of when u love chemistry but have minimum talent in math lol.
Hope your test went well Anna!
This was beyond helpful!!!!!
Damn thanks soo much this just helped a lotâ€
i have a chem exam in 4 hours and this helped me a lot, thank you !
you r amazing I finally get it your amazing.
my. teacher wasn't. explaining. well but I want u as my. teacher
Very good explanation!
Thank u very much u make things simple
Your table is very helpful.
Thanks for not trying to be *âfunnyâ* or *âcoolâ* youâre really a big help :)
Thank you, Ma'am!
You rock!!! thanks once again.
Thx it's amazing video
Helpful
youâre the realest for this
you are legit a queen. Im paying 20k a year for tuition at clemson for a shitty professor, and here you are doing ur thing and being incredible at teaching on youtube!!! thank you so much for your help. You have reduced so much stress for me, honestly. I cant say thank you enough!
this was so helpful
Hello, your video very helpful. but can't download the study guide?
Thank You! So compounds like Ammonium and Nitrates are soluble without exceptions. But does this rule still stand if the compound is like Ammonia or Nitrite?
I mean damn are you good at explaining things. You've saved my life so many times, thank you so much!
Great video.. can you let me know which video editing tool are you suing? thanks in advance
Thankyou.
Thank you so much
Online chemistry sucks but you make it understandable. Thank you so so so much.
I'm out here watching Valorant Gameplay and this shows up in my recommended. Gave it a watch and it was quite helpful!
Ironically, this is what we're learning in my chem class right now. Coincidence?
9/10! (because I still despise chemistry class, no changing that)
Maybe if it was a physics class I was in right now that'd help.
Is Mercury Hg in for Sulfateâs exception? Or does it not go in?
How can I memorize it ? the solubility table
Too much. Your teacher should let you use a table during a test, or only write problems where the solubilities are obvious. You might be expected to know the No Exceptions soluble ions, though. The AP test expects that.
@@daveswaney5460 My school is making us memorize the whole table for the test, and it is just Honors Chemistry.. not even AP đ
@@JacobLaurenzana damn dude im in college and dont even gotta do that
Dave Swaney Nope they are making me memorize
Will there ever be any possibilities for liquids and/or gases to participate in net ionic equations?
thank you very much
Thank you miss
If a compound is not found on the chart is it a solid?
so if Ca2+ is added with OH- it would be (aq). Then why in other chemical equations it is written as (s)?? please explain.
ty !
isnt KClO3 a solid? That what is says on my study material... group 1 exception?
THANK YOU FOR BEING AMAZING
Aww thank you Lana!
How can we predict solubility using structure of molecule
Melissa.......You beauty you.
1 month of nothing and then you came đđ
Seriously though thank you
You're welcome!
I have a doubt about what do you mean when you say some substance is soluble or insoluble. Do the soluble compounds dissociate completely in water, and are the insoluble ones those which will form a solubility equilibrium?
OMG THANK YOU AGAIN ::::))))))))))))
bless your scientific soul Melissa
đđ Haha thank you Haley!
of course np!đđ đ I love your videos and they really truly help(ed) me out so much when studying! So thank you!!! And also, I just realized I wasnât subscribed...there we go! :)đ
Bless your heart đđđ
She taught me what my prof. failed to teach me in 7:34 mins, she's the best
when using your table there are few things that don't work so I wanted to clarify . silver acetate would be aq but its not aq . also Ca(OH)2 using your table would be aq but its s . so i am wondering if you could explain . thank you
thank you so much, i love u
how do know when we aren't allowed to use the table
FINALLY A GOOD EXPLANATION
What do you do when it isnât on the solubility table?
Thank you! That is all that i need to say :*
You're very welcome!
Thanks a lot u safe my life.
Youâre very welcome đ
What if you have oxolate? Is there a rule for that? Can anybody help me?
Is lithium soluble with potassium?
very helpful mam but halogens make ppt with cu+ion??? am i right and what about NO2-ion????
thanks mam very helpful but last doubt mam, what about silver-acetate and calcium sulphide
you are i life saver
You're the G.O.A.T
You save my life
thank you! I wish you were my chem teacher
You're welcome!
Melissa, I do not believe Ca^2+ is an exception for SO4
you always save me
Will be we been given this table in exam ?
