Ok, so, Evil Morty basically broke free of the "multiverse" called the Central Finite Curve, into the more broader multiverse at large, to be free of Ricks altogether.

Rick seperated a bunch of realiteis where he was the smartest man in the universe and basically made his OWN multiverse with them. That was the "curve" that Evil Morty was talking about. All Evil Morty really wanted to do was leave that multiverse of Ricks because all Morties within the curve are basically bound to Rick and his bullshit. So that's what he did.
Rick literally built a wall around "infinity", just how powerful is this man...?
Evidently not THAT powerful relatively speaking. Considering he built the wall to block out anyone smarter than him.
If you need a wall to keep out people more powerful than you, you evidently aren’t THAT powerful. It’s like a small fish in a small pond situation. He’s powerful because he stays in his pond.
The ones smarter and more powerful than Rick probably wouldn't bother disrupting the curve, since the infinite Ricks generally don't try to fuck with those beyond their capabilities. It's more of a "you stay in your lane, I'll stay in mine" type of situation, because having infinite enemies to deal with is still troublesome no matter how weaker they are.
It's a pretty logical solution. And having even just a slice of infinity is still having an infinite amount of universes. Too bad his ego prevented him from accounting the possibility of a smarter Morty than him.
Hes both weak and powerful and the same time hes Multiversal level but other god beings higher than rick is Multiversal+ meaning they can access universes that isnt about them or a universe without them basically any universe 2d 3d 5d
31:43 by technicality Rick never denied that his memory was fake just that he fabricated something specifically the portal formula but he never denied that it was an entirely fake back story
He did tho. The bug guy said "you cant alter a memory", rick responded with "youre right but you can alter a totally made up origin story"
No he says the family thing is fake too, it's at the end of the episode during his rant about Szechuan sauce.
To this guy's point, that's just him implying it. But he does outright say that is fake too to Morty at the end of the episode.

To explain it simply, some infinites are larger than other infinites.
For example, how many numbers are there in total? Infinite
Ok now, How many numbers are there between the number 0 and the number 1? Also infinite, but it's much smaller than the previous example.
So the Central Finite Curve is basically the 0 - 1. Where they have an infinite number of universes all condensed and in ALL of them, Rick is the smartest one in each universe/dimension.
What Evil Morty just did was pretty much escaping it, he went past the number 1 and now he has a different type of infinite universes to go through and explore in which Rick ISNT the smartest in the universe, basically number 1 to infinity.

Rick loves all his family, but honestly imo mostly morty. We see signs as early as when he comforted morty and killed king jellybean in that one episode and in season 2 episode 1, rick literally risks no longer existing so that morty could live and be better than him.
