I am sharing a true story that happened to me recently. I came across an ukrainian refugee family that I tried to help the way I could ! Maybe a good christmas story, but the pure reality in fact. What an emotional moment it was !

The castle of Montmartin is located in the Doubs department in Franche-Comté. It's close to the Swiss border and also the french cities of Besançon, Vesoul, Baume-les-Dames, Montbéliard, Belfort and Mulhouse.
We are a young couple, 32 and 34 years old who has just bought this castle. We are giving you a home tour as if you were staying there ! Let's travel through time together to the 18e century !

Le château de Montmartin, situé dans le département du Doubs en Franche-Comté. Proche de Besançon, Vesoul, Baume-les-Dames, Montbéliard, Belfort et Mulhouse.
Nous sommes un jeune couple de 32 et 34ans qui venont toute juste d'acheter un château. On vous fait visiter le château de l'intérieur comme si vous y étiez. C'est parti pour un voyage dans le temps, rendez-vous au 18ème siècle !

What would you have done differently in this situation ?
I would have racked my brain and my contacts to find a friend or two who had an IT job for that man. I would have given them whatever money I had, and filled up their petrol tank. I would have prayed for blessings for them and their family. But I think you did what you could. No way that you could leave them to travel through the night when they were already exhausted and hungry. then you fed them again in the morning. You were really blessed to meet this family and share what you had. Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year

My great grand parents met as my great grand mother was wounded in Reims when it was bombarded in 1914. They both moved as refugees to Paris where they lived together and built a family till 1977.
Bonjour from Australia. It is an organic experience and it happened as it is meant to be. I would just keep in contact, pray for them and maybe an invitation when your wife is there so the family can come and relax and have a fun party weekend Away like little Princess.
Actually I'm being honest now, God says from the abundance you have giveth and let your cup overflow. I could tell you were filled with grief, distress and compassion for this family and their children. It's a nice idea to consider offering them to live there and save for a year so they can embrace healing,adapt to language and culture and let the children bless them settle in a safe country side area. Maybe his wife can get teaching work once she's done some studies in French and English and assist with garden and cooking etc. Nice to fill place with laughter and joy. Church would Theo be awake as well for them to pray in. Bless you follow vision and heart, listen to this and don't worry about the rest. Look up and have a leap of faith

That was very nice of you to do. As a woman in the U.S. I wouldn't even speak to anyone at night and just because someone has Ukrainian plates doesn't mean they could not be former Nazi AZOV military and if you know about them they are self acclaimed militant Nazis running the military there. Clearly the family was not, I doubt the man was a part of the AZOV military there but they could have been supportive of his regime. After WWII so many Nazis fled to the Ukraine to rebuild their government there and from what I saw in the video of the Ukraine long before the war. AZOV was very much a part of the government there and AZOV was CELEBRATED there in the Ukraine. The people had Nazi flags even in their department stores everywhere. As someone whose friends , family DIED as a result of the Nazis and fought against the Nazis to save the Jews, this subject is not cut and dry for many of us here. All that said it was nice of you to offer your home and definitely in the Christmas spirit, however for me after the holocaust and what the Nazis did I would have a hard time legitimizing helping people I did not know in a war torn region as it would bother me if they in fact supported a Nazi regime in the Ukraine. Most of the people have already fled EXCEPT people in the old Ukraine regime or people still being used as human shields in the Ukraine by AZOV. Those people in support of AZOV want the Ukraine for Ukrainians ONLY, not Greeks, not Jews, not Russians Ukrainians only. Even Zelensky admits YES, the Nazi AZOV "have always been a part of our military government since the beginning of our military and went further extolling their virtues. Here is very liberal "The Hill" in the U.S. 😱 czcams.com/video/F0tAWaNEhU8/video.html Greece has now pushed back saying Nazi have no place in parliament like Zelenski is PUSHING FOR THIS. This frightens me as an American, that Nazi AZOV is gaining sympathies as are the people claiming to be refugees when in fact supported Ukraine for Ukrainians only and the new NAZI backed regime. Speaking about politics is perhaps not a good idea, I do enjoy just your programming in renovating etc. I doubt there will be many who will not even mention this to you except those who are not aware of the situation or just believe whatever sources support who support Zelensky without question. Right now it is politically convenient for our governments to support Ukraine but are REFUSING to talk about the new NAZI backed regime due to their own monetary interest in the Ukraine. The Ukraine is a country devoured by money laundering and had become the money laundering PIT of Europe for governments like my own here in the U.S.. I however can not just sit here and nod given what Zelenski is claiming now he wants for the NAZIS to be A PART of PARLIAMENT??? and that people who were in support of the former regime are now claiming a special status based on this support???? Zelensky uses his Jewishness to deflect his NAZI support. To me it doesn't sit well considering there are even self hating Jews here in the U.S. who support Nazis so this is not an excuse to me. NAZIS will NEVER will be a "new normal" to me nor the people who supported the NAZI backed regime wholeheartedly while they lived there in the Ukraine. Just no. 😱
This is a very difficult subject. So many good people in the world do not understand the trickery/propaganda being spoon fed to all of us . I'm so proud of anyone reaching out to help others because that is what counts, we can only share our love . ❣️

That is a very touching story and thank you for helping them especially at Christmas time..That is the way the Christian life is supposed to work, but many times we get caught up in situations that prevents us from being used by God.. Could you possibly provide housing in your chateau for a family??? I'm sure they would be helpful with all your tasks while they get work and documentation for France.
The Château is not comfortable in winter, so for the moment it's too early 😉
Your story is completely believable without need of any proof, however the photo looks unnatural, like if it had been taken in a different location and the background added, perhaps I'm wrong, perhaps it just looks that way. Hope you invite them back and you make a video with them in the Chateau. Would be great to see them talking about how they are getting on in France.
The pictures were taken before I made the video, so the nature was more greenish and less snowy. I didn't have time to make this video earlier that's why :-)
