B Ford level of competition he succeeds against is a HUGE factor. Averaging 300 yards a game isn’t the same against the SEC, or B1G as it is against the AAC. It has nothing to do with the name of the school. If a guy goes to Minnesota and puts up 300+ypg in the B1G I’d say he would be a solid prospect and Minnesota is far from a big name football school. So go ahead and make another stupid rebuttal, so I can shut that garbage down too.

Denver needs this guy. Hopefully Scangarello has a say, because I think he could do what he did with Mullens with this kid (and then some). Every interview I've seen and comment I've read makes me believe this kid is a winner and a leader. He'll adjust to the speed of the game and competition just fine. His ability to hit his back step at the top of the drop and get the ball out quickly is reminiscent of Rodgers...also extends plays similarly. I think he's the steal of the draft at the QB position.

Remember Carson was a projected 3rd rounder for a while until he won a championship. Which stick had done and he lead them there and let Carson play coming off an injury. Say what you want. But NDSU has made two very promising prospects. I think he's a much better talent than 6th round Edit: I believe stick won the year after Carson was drafted for clarification, but he also led the team to the title and stepped down so Carson could win it
