Burt Macklin he’d be thrown out every game if he played for FSU in the ACC. It’s the worst officiating conference in football. Ticky tacky calls all around. As long as it’s not the qb they usually let you slide on hard hits in the pros. College? If it looks hard, it’s targeting.

He has sound technique. That’s his best ability and it really shows. He reads his keys perfectly more often than not which is why he’s constantly thumping running backs on screens in the backfield. 1st rounders all day

I met him lol his brother used to be my basketball coach a few years ago his name was cole Johnston and we went on a field trip to Baylor university and played a scrimmage with clay. He’s a really nice guy

I'm an absolute die hard fan for THE Ohio State University Buckeye's and only state this because I absolutely love to watch amazing players on the defensive side of the ball (Silver Bullets Defense!). The reason why I stated the aforementioned, is because it has me wishing I could of watched every Baylor game that season so I could've watched this Clay Johnston MACHINE and witness his true dominance on defense in all of it's glory. I absolutely love defensive players who play every down with 100% intensity and with every ounce of all their heart. This man should be an absolute inspiration to ALL players, especially to those in his respected position with how he plays so committed and passionately. He is THE physical embodiment of the true spirit that is the amazing game we call football. Nothing but absolute whole hearted respect and admiration for this beast who is Clay Johnston! I wish him the best in his pursuit at the next level in which I have no doubt that he will succeed most beautifully. True love and respect on behalf of Buckeye Nation Clay Johnston.
